Difference between circuit and interval workouts?

New here, just from the Firm and their "C+S" workouts. Are Cathe's circuit workouts most closely related to cardio + weights? And what exactly are interval workouts- are they just cardio that varies in intensity? I have the basic starter workouts and have placed an order for several more...am waiting patiently for them to arrive...and trying to plan a rotation.

Yes, interval workouts are pure cardio that alternate between higher and lower intensity periods. Cathe's interval workouts have an aerobic phase,a bit shorter anaerobic phase or intensity blast, and a brief recovery. Then you repeat that sequence.

Circuit workouts alternate cardio and wieghts. Cathe has a great many variety of circuit workouts. Some have longer cardio with lighter weights, some shorter cardio with heavier weights, some with legs and upper body weights going together, some with just legs, etc.... I think she's done it all.
