Diet question

I have question about diet. I'm not sure how much fat, carbs and protein to have a day to really see results.

I sometimes log my calorie intake on Fitday.com, and it comes out to about 25% fat, 35% carbs and 40% protein. Is this too much protein? Or fat? It's only 9 grams of saturated fat per day. I eat about 1700 calories a day.

And is really only a pound a week the way to go?

Any input anyone can give would be greatly appreciated!!:)
