Did B&G first time this a.m.

I have only done premixes from this so far, not the whole thing at once.....and was sore from the premixes for 3 days. Get out the muscle rub!
 
I think that I read that sour cherry juice is supposed to help prevent DOMS or at least make them less severe. I haven't tried it, but you might want to look into it. That or a chair lift }(
The good news is that by the second time I had no DOMS from B&G so enjoy them while they last:)

I did B&G last night for the first time. I'm really feeling it this morning. Everytime I get out of my chair, I swear I'm going to scream.
 
I get DOMS in my butt from B&G worse each time I do it (currently once a week). So you are wondering why . . . well each time I really FOCUS on my form and going deep and hitting the butt section hard. I have also found that the more I concentrate during the ankle weight section the more it hurts. It is very easy to become complacent with our workouts and not derive as much from them due to repetition. I am so thrilled that this workout kicks my a** so hard every time I do it!:eek: And for a frame of reference I am an advanced exerciser who rarely ever gets DOMS.:)

Yea, you'll be able to walk but you might be a lot more aware of some muscles during your walk!

I was absolutely amazed at how well this targets my bum! I felt it most right where the butt cheeks meet the hamstrings. It felt good! Although I did have a tough time with the abs afterwards! I'm doing this again tomorrow without the abs - those I did today.

That's exactly where I feel it and exactly where I need it :)


I am not as sore today as I expected to be but tomorrow's another day x(
 
Actually, you might not be as sore as if you had done it later in the day, because you will be moving around the rest of the day, helping circulation in that area, which may help recovery (the way stretching can).

But be prepared to groan whenever you use the bathroom...or otherwise have to sit or stand!
 
That's what I'm thinking, Kathryn.

The first time I get up from my chair at work after sitting for a couple of hours I'm gonna want to scream.

I hope so.
