Has anybody ever tried any products from DHC? I am interested in trying them. My face is getter drier and looking older every day. (I'm 45) They have a product of deep cleansing oil and then you use a mild soap. Or any other ideas? Thanks.

I've been using the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil for about a month now, and I really like it. I have sensitive, oily skin which has major dry patches, and this stuff is really better than anything I've tried. I can't beleive I can smear oil on my face twice a day and not feel greasy at all! It washes off wonderfully, and I have had less breakouts than in years. It softens the dry patches nicely.
I don't use the mild soap--I don't actually use anything other than the oil--and I feel completely clean after I rinse it off.

(I'm 32)

My mother loves those products (she's in her 60s). The basic kit has 4 products. The deep cleansing oil, the mild soap, a mild toner and the olive virgin oil. They're wonderful for her skin. You can get that whole kit for $68 (with no extra S&H charges).

I have combination skin so I'm a little bit scared of trying that 4 piece kit as I tend to break out on my oily areas. But I love that olive virgin oil. I still have some left and I'm running out and I have to (I must!!) buy it. I use a tiny tiny drop on my dry areas on top of my regular treatment lotions (around my eyes, around my mouth and between my eye brows). I also like the mild soap but I don't use it every day like the olive virgin oil.

You can ask for 4 free samples of that kit and see if it's suitable for you. The deep cleansing oil even gets rid of waterproof mascara and it washes off without any residue. I've seen my mother washing her face with it. It reminds me of Philosophy's Purity in terms of the way it cleans, but I think your face looks more radiant after using dhc's deep cleansing oil.

As for other products for dry skin I like the treatment lotions of Dr. Perricone, but they are somewhat expensive. I think the DHC kit is more affordable and it gives the same results as the basic olive oil kit from Dr. Perricone's.

I use the cleansing oil and the olive virgin oil. I don't use the soap, it dried out my face too much. I use MD Forte cleanser instead.

I love the DHC velvet veil. It's a wonderful product.

Don't know about DHC but I've been using two natural skincare lines that are wonderful. See how they compare to DHC. Do a search for Sevi and Botanical Skin Works. BSW has soaps that redefine the meaning of soap! Just wonderful! Alexis

I've been using DHC products for a few years now and love them! The deep cleansing oil is amazing stuff. It feels like a nice rich oil but rinses off leaving you feeling clean and moisturized. Takes off makeup too. I don't use the soap much, it feels drying to my skin. I was using the olive oil but I just started using the extra virgin oil from a grocery store since it feels the same and is much cheaper.

Good luck, I'd love to hear more opinions on quality, reasonabley prices skincare products.
