DH just got laid off today

Oh holy crapola, we had been talking about this but I never thought this would be a real possibility. Nevertheless, DH come hom at 11:30 am today, saying, he'd be off for "summer vacation" when asked. Well, to make a long story shorth, he got laid off with his whole group, 325 people, GONE nmmjjjjjmm

Oh, Carola, I'm so sorry to hear it. ;( I have been in that place many times since my DX was a union pipefitter in the early '90s and he was laid off more than he was working.

Sending good vibes your way and hoping this leads to newer and better things.

I'm sorry this happened Carola. My DH is a union worker and things have REALLY slowed down at the company he works for. They've laid off alot of guys in a short period of time. We are hoping DH stays put but you never know....
