Desperate Housewives--what'd you guys think?

I was starting to lose interest until last week, now I'm hooked again........

Hooray Bree! So glad she got rid of that George nut, so glad the cops are finally on to him........boy was he a creep......BUT--do you think he's really dead?

Susan & her dad--couldn't give a rat's behind. She bores me to tears.

And Gabrielle & Sister Mary--OMG! That was hilarious. Gabby & her shopping--she really is my hero LOL. Nothing like a good catfight to keep a show interesting.

Lynette--she is really in for it now. Too bad--I LOVED her boss--that chick was hilarious & was really one of the more interesting characters on the show. I'm sorry she's gone but I think I will enjoy seeing Lynette get what's coming to her......}(

The Bree/George story is so interesting. I did love that white dress too - she is so rail thin. You could really see it in her back.

Lynnette's boss was great but kind of a one dimensional character. Having Lynnette as the boss will be interesting. I think that she might have to quit and then they both don't have jobs for a while.

Although Susan's scene was campy, as usual (My dad is really nice and he gave me a hat!), I do think that it will get a more interesting with her dad. I also thought that the line to Edie about "When did you lose your virginity" was PRICELESS.

Sr. Mary Bernard. OK - this is going to be totally great!!! Bring it on!

Have a Desparate Day girls!

Is Joely Fisher pregnant in real life? She's the one who plays Lynnette's boss. She seemed very "boxy", for lack of a better term; and they always seemed to film her at odd angles, flowy clothing, or with a half-naked man in front of her.

Diane

I thought she looked pregnant too!

George is on GMA right now. In real life he is really funny and normal. He is laughing about the scenes.

"I want you to hear the whole medley!"

He is using "WAS" and using every verb in the past, so we know George is dead. Bummer, I will miss creepy George's antics.

This show is so much fun!

I thought this was a good one. I am so glad George is gone. I felt bad for Susan being so desperate for a relationship with her father.

I'm sorry but Sister Mary Hotpants was not hot AT ALL IMO! If she's supposed to be a hot nun, they should have got someone hot to play her.

I'm so glad George is gone! (or is he?) I agree that the nun wasn't hot at all! What's Gabrielle afraid of? Why doesn't she just dress her best and go to church with her husband. I thought it was inappropriate for the nun to pick him up and not come in and meet the wife. Do y'all think the nun is after Carlos?

I also thought Joely Fisher looked pregnant.

Joely Fisher is pregnant in real life. I read that somewhere. So, I'd bet that's why she is gone. Maybe they'll bring her back in future episodes though after she has the baby.
I'm wondering though if Bree will get in trouble for visiting George while he was O.D.ing and not calling the cops. Because technically that is a form of second degree murder. I was thinking that when she left the hotel room she needed to get rid of her finger prints on the door and chair and maybe try to rid all evidence that she was ever there.
I'm glad that I wasn't the only one that Gabrielle was being insecure for nothing.

Kathy

That was Joely Fisher? OMG! How things change........

IA about Sister Mary. Why Gabrielle would be intimidated by her is completely beyond my comprehension.

I was also thinking the same thing about the fingerprints--also the note from George the bellman delivered, she left it lying on the table. Except the note said he'd just taken a bunch of pills, his prints will be all over the bottle, the glass & the bottle of booze, so she'll probably be OK.

Loved the show. I can't believe George is gone already, I figured they'd keep him on for a while to make Bree's life miserable. I wonder if whe will be up on murder charges?

I agree, the nut was not hot at all, in fact, I thought she was kind of homely looking. She has NOTHING on Gabby. I think Carlos would be hot if he pumped some iron and got rid of some of that fat. He's looking a bit robust for my taste.

Susan and her father - that bored me to tears as well. They are really reaching for her storyline's aren't they?

Loved Lynnette's scenes, I always enjoy watching her. Her yummy husband wasn't on last night.

Maybe they will bring her back as Lynnette's employee and the tables will be turned. You guys know the difference between a school aged kids working mommy and a mommy just off maternity leave. Now that would be fun!

I also wondered about Bree being present for George's overdose. I hope that she gets away with it. I loved the scene when she stopped the elevator and let it all sink in. If she hadn't ever flirted with George he might not have killed Rex.

I am sad to see George go. He was hilarious when he was serenading Bree on her front lawn!

I was laughing so hard during the nun scenes! That looks good.

I agree about the episodes getting dull and then last week and this week were juicy!!!

I love every episode. I have to say though that I think that terri hatchers character is kind of boring. I don't know why so much emphasis is placed on her. She is going to be on the Barbara Walters special as one of the most fascinating people. I think Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross are much more intersting. I will miss George. He was funny in a creepy sort of way.

Susan

I don't know why
>so much emphasis is placed on her.

She's the one that's been getting the awards (Golden Globes and such), so I assume that's why she's getting the attention.
