Desert Island Videos

If you were stranded on a desert island with the fantasy man (or woman) of your choice and you could bring only three videos to keep you in shape, what would they be? I'd choose all Cathe, of course, Maximum Intensity Cardio would keep my heart pumping tio the max, Power Hour for strength/conditioning and Interval Max because I die every time I do it.

As for vids Imax I love it, it hates me and would be what I needed to stay in some sort of shape, Circuit Max as it has a bit of everything and Power Max to get me stepping I am a stepping fool.

At the moment, I only have 2 Cathe vids, so I would like to re-answer this question in a years time. But I would take Cathe's Wedding video, Aussie Fit's New Body workout and aussie Fit's Lite Aerobics. Great Post. Oh and if I could take any man, then it would have to be either Ralph Fiennes, Alan Titchmarsh (famous English gardener on TV), or Tony Robinson (Baldrick from Blackadder). I would have great difficulty choosing a man, I think, out of those three, I'd want them all there ! And I would like my desert island to be in the Caribean !

But it is true we would my sister is my strength last end of 2000 she got really sick I actually thought she might die I can't tell you how that made me feel I just remember praying to God saying I just can't lose her I don't know how I would go on. Anyway she recovered she is amazing. We talk all the time and she is quite candid with me we went through a lot together, her only fault she just doesn't understand my Cathe obession.

However if it had to be a man it would be hard there is one who has come close to my ideal.

Could I cheat and take 3 DVDs? That way I can have more workouts? I'd take the Power Hour/MIS/Body Max, Crosstrain Xpress, and MIC/IMAX/RS.

Thanks for sharing your sister story, I am so pleased she made a full recovery :) It must of been a terrible time for you and your family, it is at times like these when we realise life is so precious.
I know what you mean about sibling relationships, I get on very well with my brother and sister, but when we were younger and lived together, I have to say, we squabbled ! But now, we are all so close, and I share my fitness video passion with my sister, Sarah, we discuss what our favourite bits are particular workouts, usually we like the same bit ! I may of convinced her to purchase her first Cathe video (Wedding video), Sarah if you are reading this, get ordering ! (I know she likes to browse the forum, but I can't convince her to join (yet !).
You never know Babs, you may just persuade your sister to become as passionate as you are about Cathe workouts.

I have to say, Cathe is great, I have never enjoyed a fitness video, as much as I enjoyed the Wedding Video !

I can't believe London has been brought to a stand still again with the tube strike, are you getting to work OK ?

BTW, I read the London message earlier in the week, and I have to confess Babs, I was one of those tourists that went into Harrods and bought a bar of Harrod's chocolate, just for a bag !
Never bought anything else ! How shocking is that ! You must of been rushed off your feet working in Harrods, because you literally can't turn around in some areas of the store ! Like the Food Hall ! I bet Christmas was so busy !

Thank you for your kind words yes siblings I had the same thing with my brothers once they moved out permenantly we got on a lot better.

I actually didn't go to work I swapped my day off its would be nightmare journey to get in and come home. The problem is not just the strikes but the picketing at the stations arrgh. Anyway at work it was a skeleton staff I don't know what will happen if they have a 48 hour strike which they are threatening yet another winter of discontent.

Harrods: you are so right Saturday's usually started slow and built up it got really crazy especially during the last day of the sale I would come home and just sleep. The good times included seeing Princess Diana twice and meeting two women I thought were really gorgeous Shakira Caine and Bruce Forsthye wife (can't remember her name).

Heard lots of good things re: The Wedding Vid haven't got it might be a future purchase.
