Hi Debbie,

I have been doing BFL style training since Jan. of this year! I got bored and started one of your rotations! I am starting in my third week of "Muscle Building & Defining Rotation". All I can say is "WOW"! I am sore since day one! LOL! EVERY muscle in my body is sore!I really enjoy your rotation! Last night I did PUB Legs standing only/ MM legs (I messed up on that one, I did All the legs but not the premix!)+ PLB Floorwork! My legs where shaking and screaming! All I wanted to do is lay on the floor and don't move anymore! LOL! Since I have been doing heavy lifting (I have been working really hard!), is it ok to take a week off from lifting heavy? I know some people do and some don't! Sorry, if this question has been ask before, I don't have a lot of time to search! I am getting ready to move my furniture in July back to Germany! Long story! What rotation do you recommend after this rotation? I am starting to see nice muscle definition with heavy lifting and starting to see muscles in my abs! :D

Thanks for all you help and all you do on this forum!

Belinda,
Glad to hear you are enjoying this rotation. Nice job on being sore! LOL!

How many weeks have you been lifting heavy? I usually do an 8 week rotation and take a week break. Sometimes I'll just do cardio that week and sometimes I'll just take the entire week off. That depends on how my body is feeling.

I like to work heavy during the fall/winter months and then when summer hits I up my cardio and do rotations that are higher reps then I usually do just to give my muscles some more recovery time and hitting them in a different way. So yes, it is good to do lighter lifting for a few weeks.

On the rotation question. How many weeks have you been lifting heavy? That will determine what rotation you should do next.

Hi Debbie,

Thank you for your quick responds! I have been lifting heavy since the beginning of January 08! I followed the BFL style workouts! Three days cardio and 3 days UB/LB workouts! I used mostly Cathe’s DVD’s with my cardio or do iTreads, for weights I used pretty much all of Cathe’s weight DVD’s. or I used the BFL pyramid system! It has been really working well for me! My body is not responding well with more than 3 cardio day’s a week! I am down 3 cloth sizes since Jan.! I haven’t weight myself since I am back in the US( I am here because I am getting both my kids ready for college!), but I am still losing weight! I don’t diet, I eat mostly healthy! I don’t eat meat, so I do drink a protein shake when I lift weights!

Thanks for your help!

Belinda,
Did I answer your question then? I definitely think you need one week off totally. Give your body time to recover. Excellent on your results!! You are working hard!

Maybe change it up with one of the Get Ready for Summer rotations. That will bring out definition and lean out your body to show off those hard earned muscles.

Hi Debbie,

Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out! I can't wait to start "Get Ready for the Summer rotation", after my recovery week! BTW! you look amazing!

Thanks again!
Belinda
