Thanks for asking! Yes, I survived it all BUT no workout. :-( Just too much to do, plus I really didn't want gawkers while I worked out. I just resigned myself to the fact ahead of time that it would be a rest day. I did IMax the day before. (Does that count? ;-))Thanksgiving went absolutely great in the food department. It was the BEST Thanksgiving meal, with the best turkey we have ever fixed. (No intent to brag) We used our convection roaster, and even when we had left overs yesterday, the turkey was still moist. We injected Creole Butter into it. Wow, was that good! We ended up with 15 family members and had a real nice time. As far as the day, it was quite wearisome. Too much food to divide up amongst the family, put away and sooo much clean-up afterwards. We had people offer to help in the kitchen but that never works as they just get in our way, so Dave & I did all the clean-up while others sat and gib-gabbed. I don't mean to whine. All in all, it was a great day and we had fun with the family. Not sure I could take on Christmas or New Year's. Hopefully, we will be the ones sitting and gib-gabbing. Ha! We are truly blessed to have family to share our special days. How was your buffet???? Did you do the BodyMax challenge with the others? Thanks for thinking of me.
Would it do any good to put your foot down and say, "Somebody else can do Xmas and New Years - I had my turn for this year."
I didn't do Bodymax - Cardio Kicks. But I really went all out yesterday with Power Hour followed by Step Fit. And Friday I did MIC. Whew! Next week I think I'll start a CTX rotation until the Xmas rush is over. I'm still really busy at the church with the bookkeeping - and this morning I think I have to take care of the snow on the sidewalks.
As for the buffet, I got my holidays mixed up - we go there on Xmas day. We went to my nephew's house Thursday.
