Deanines Rotation Check In Thursday

Good Morning :)

I ended up taking today off. I slept in because I knew there was no school today, and by the time I woke up it was 8am and my kids were already awake!! So we all had a nice breakfast together. If I have time, I may workout later today, but I'm not counting on it. My DS wants to go sledding with a friend today, and I'm driving them to the hill. Oh well...

Gin- Yes, that is the game plan.. Cathes week one of her Jan 07 Rotation and on to Debbies rotation.

Tracee- I've read that series by Catherine Coulter they're good. Did you guys end up getting snow?

Marcy- I hope you had a nice anniversary.

I was looking over Cathes rotation (jan.07) and I really like it. I like that it uses the Pyramids twice and with the circuits, I'm really on the fence about wether(sp)to do Cathes, or Debbies rotation. I feel bad, because I said I would do Debbies, well still not sure.. Either way though, I will still check in with you all. Cathes is so straight forward, and it uses some older workouts I haven't used in a while, and Marcy got great results from it. So I'm considering it. I also get results with Cathes rotations. Anyway, those are my thoughts....

Hi Deanie and all who follow,

Today was a rest day for me as well. I was hoping to do yoga this morning but allergies were bothering me last night and this morning I was glued to my bed. I might be going dancing tonight.

Deanie - I just checked Debbie's and Cathe's rotations from January. They are somewhat similar. They both do Gym Styles and Pyramids. Looks like Cathe's has a bit more cardio in it like a couple more interval workouts and some runs.

Hi all. I wasn't going to check in today because I missed my workout again this morning. Now I'm glad I came here since you guys took rest days as well. Apparently my DD was messing with my alarm clock and turned the volume all the way down. So when the radio came on this morning I didn't hear it and didn't wake up. So it looks like I'll be doing workouts all weekend long. :)

I still haven't compared Cathe's and Debbie's rotations so I'll do that after I'm done writing. I figure I won't be able to follow either one exactly but it will be close.

Deanie - we didn't get too much snow but lots of drifting from the wind and it's COLD again. I think we are supposed to get some days in the 30's next week and I'm really looking forward to it.

Okay, I'm off to look at the rotations.

Good Afternoon All!

I guess I was the only one that got up at dark-thirty to exercise.;) If I had known you guys were taking a rest day, I would have joined you! :) I did KM leg conditioning drills, leg machines at the gym, and rode the bike for 30 min. Swim class tonight.

I have seen on the news how much snow you guys have had. Do you have to make up the days at the end of the year?

I'll follow whatever rotation you all decide to do. Of course, I have to modify it anyway for a few weeks until I feel as if my leg has healed. It does not hurt when I walk on it, but I know I need to wait at least 4 weeks before I try impact cardio again.
