Good Morning All!

Just a quick hello- I am running late again, couldn't get out of bed!! I did not workout today, and I think I will take the day off. My abs are still sore, and my legs are feeling the workout from yesterday. It was supposed to be Pilates today and that's more ab work- no thank you:)

After reading what the road trip is all about, I don't think I am going to go. I'd love to meet you all, and some people from the boards, but it doesn't sound like my "cup of tea".

I also woke up late, but we have an in-service day so I don't have to be ther as early as usual. I did B&G abs on the ball without the ankle weights. I plan to go to ride the stationary bike and try the elliptical this aft.

It is intersting that we all seem to be sore after a week of "rest and recovery"!:)
i was thinking that I might like to go to the Road Trip, but sure was hoping that you guys might like to go also. I am kind of an introvert when around those I don't know. Trying to talk a friend of mine into going with me.

Good Morning!

I overslept this morning so I didn't workout. Went dancing last night. Got up with the alarm, was only going back to bed for a few more minutes which turned out to be an hour and a half. I usually get between 6 1/2 to 7 hours a night. How many hours do you guys get?

I'm going to try and do Ripped to the Core later if I get the chance.

I really would've liked to go on the road trip but things will be too hectic for me around that time. Maybe next year.

Deanie - You're about 45 minutes away from my sister-in-law who lives in Bowie. I don't know when I'll be visiting her again, but when I do I'll let you know and maybe we can get together.

Gin - I know it's scary but you should go if you can. I once went on a cruise and roomed with someone I never met and had a great time. Considering we all have the same interests, I don't think it would be that bad.

Tracee - Hope you have a good workout today. Talk to you later.

Good morning. I actually woke up and had plenty of time to workout but since it's a recovery week I only did B&G abs, not the ones on the ball but the ones with the weights. I was going to do both but my daughter woke up too and needed some tending to. Then I decided to take the extra time to finish watching Grey's Anatomy, love that show!

I think I'm the only one of our group that has taken this recovery week literally. I haven't done anything very strenuous and haven't had a sore muscle all week. I hope that turns out to be a good thing instead of a negative thing. I am ready to get back to working up a good sweat though. :)

Gin - I hope you are able to get one of your friends to go with you on the road trip. It did seem like a fun experience for a lot of people.

Hi all,

It is funny we are sore from our "recovery" week. I was reading on another forum how the recovery week really makes your muscles defined, but I don't know that I see a difference.

Since I get up at 5:30 a.m.ish, I usually crash at night at 9:30ish. So I guess I'm at 8ish :) hours of sleep.

Tracee- I also am ready for a good sweat! I am really looking forward to next week. Are you going to do anything tomorrow? I'm thinking yoga for me.

Gin- If you want to go to the road trip you should!! If everyone is so nice on the boards, they should be just as nice in person! And Marcy is right- we all have a common interest- Cathe and her workouts.

Marcy- You're right, I am about 45 min. away from Bowie, and would love to meet you! We could have lunch- something clean of course!! LOL!

Hi again.

Just wondering if anyone has DOMS from yoga. I did Slim & Lean, KPC and yoga this week and my body is just sore, especially my biceps and legs. Maybe it's from dancing last night. I haven't been in a month. Way too long to be away.

Deanie - Hope we can meet one day. I'll be going to the post office tonight to send out the envelope for the tapes.

Gin - Since it doesn't look like the rest of us are going, you have to go and be our representative! We need to feel it vicariously through you.

I liked what I did this month but I think I'm looking forward to heavy lifting again. Someone on OD asked about being defined and they said you can't be defined unless you have enough muscle and that comes with heavy lifting and a good diet. So next month we have to eat clean and lift heavy. It'll be nice that we'll all be doing the same rotation next month (well, maybe with a couple of tweaks for me.) I'm probably going to change the LIC cardio premixes. I need something more fun.

I usually get 6-7 hours of sleep. I wish I could get 8 but I don't think that's going to happen for several more years.

Deanie - I was thinking of doing yoga tomorrow too. Although I have to be out the door at 7:00am so that means I'll have to be up at 5:00 and that is hard to do on a Saturday.

Marcy - I'm with you on the lifting heavy but I fail miserably on the clean eating. I have good intentions but never seem to be able to follow through.

Marcy--My alarm is set for 4:55 am so I am usually wiped out around 9 and asleep by 9:30. If I get 7 hours, that is enough. Did you get a chance to do Ripped to the Core? I am ready to lift again. I haven't heard back from my friend about the Road Trip. She likes to exercise , but has only done a couple of Cathe w/os, so I'm not sure she will agree to do this. I think my upper body is sore from swim class last night. We work our arms quite a bit.

Tracee--I am with you on the eating clean thing. I would much rather exercise. Maybe we should try to seriously challenge each other.

Deanie--I have planned to do David Swenson yoga tomorrow. I am also planning on going with a friend to cheer her daughter on during a 1/2 marathon. I would meet her out on the course. This is the 1/2 marathon that I was training for when I injured my leg in December after my 9 mile training run!! ARGHHHH!!!x(

Gin- I am so sorry about the 1/2 maration!:-( But you are being smart about your injury! Maybe you can run vicariously(spelling?) thru your friends daughter! There's always next year! I'll be thinking of you as I do the 45 min. yoga practice with David tomorrow!
