Good Morning Everyone!

Today is our 3rd snow day in a row. There is not much snow, but so much ice and its not melting. They can't clean it up for buses and walkers, so no school. Today however, we ARE going out of the house. Yesterday we never got out because it was 27 degrees, too cold to sled! So I actually did KM bootcamp yesterday afternoon. Which I really enjoyed. However between KM and DM my shoulders got worked alot, so today I did SB and tommorrow I'll do MIS. I've only done MIS once before, so I am going to use the same weights as Cathe.

I've been looking over both rotations, and have decided Marcy is right, there isn't much difference, and I've already said I'll do Debbies, so I'm doing Cathes first week of Jan. and all of Debbies. Sometimes to much time to think about things, I tend to over analize(sp.?)

Hope you all have a great day,
BBL,
Deanie:* (I'm in a good mood today)

Good Morning ladies!

I was able to get a workout in this morning, yea!!!! I did Bootcamp and I really enjoy that one. It felt good to workout again after missing two days in a row. Tomorrow is going to be SB and then Sunday will be MIS. It will be the first time for me with MIS so I'll try to follow Cathe and adjust as needed.

Deanie - I'm glad you are in a good mood today! I'm only in a good mood because it's Friday not because of how my morning went. It was one tantrum after another getting my DD out the door.

Are your kids loving the days off from school or are they starting to get bored? We only had the one day off for the snow but they are off today and Monday for Winter Break. 27 degrees sounds nice right now, it was 17 degrees here yesterday. It's supposed to get into the 30's next week and I'm so excited, it's going to be a heat wave. :)

I looked at the two rotations yesterday and I like Debbie's better so I'll follow that with a few modifications. I'm going to order two of the Gym Styles right now and possibly IMAX3, not sure yet on that one. I decided not to get GS Legs because I don't enjoy the leg workouts and don't think I need another one at this point.

Hope the rest of you are having a great day. TGIF!!

Hi ladies,

It is still cold here too, only 14 degrees this morning. I'm sick of this cold weather. Bring on spring! DS finally got sick. Had the same thing DH and I had. He's home from school today. I guess I'm in a good mood today but a little bummed because I didn't feel up to working out this morning. I'm going to try and fit in Slim & Lean tonight.

I got to do Yoga X last night from P90X. I loved this workout. It was long -- 1 1/2 hours but it went by quickly. I was originally only going to do half but I was enjoying it so much I had to finish. This is a very well-rounded yoga workout. The first half hour is standing poses chataranga (sp?) into up dog into pushup into downward dog, leg towards ceiling, slide through into warrior poses, prayer poses. Second half hour is floor work and third half hour is balance poses. This workout made me feel so strong and flexible. I did a back bend (I think this was my 2nd one in about 20 years!). Did shoulder stands with split legs. Only thing I didn't attempt was the crane pose (handstand with knees on elbows). I really like Tony as an instructor. I gained a couple of pounds back this week. I think I'm destined to be at 125 forever. But my body fat went down to 23.1% so I'm happy about that. I've also hardly done any cardio and with my box of chocolates I guess I know how I gained back 2 pounds. If I get a chance, I might do Step Blast tomorrow.

Deanie - DM definitely works the shoulders a lot. Good luck with MIS. That's another one on my dreaded list of workouts. It seems to go on forever. I'm glad you decided to do Debbie's rotation and that you're in a good mood today.

Tracee - You'll be glad you got the Gym Styles. They've done wonders for me. I think Back, Shoulders & Biceps is my favorite. I like it because she does a wide variety of exercises and I really like the band work. IMAX 3 is my favorite IMAX. Do you have any other IMAXes?
Glad you're in a good mood too. I remember the days of getting my kids off to school. It was not fun. My DS was such a handful.

Have a great weekend, ladies. BBL.

Hi guys-
we do not have cabin fever yet!!!The other day I cleared out the basement where I workout and moved all the storage stuff against the walls and let the kids rollerblade and scooter down there. So they've been doing that, we watched a movie yesterday, today we are going to the library and playing the game of Life. I am however, running out of ideas.... At least DH will be around this weekend, he usually has fun ideas so that will help.

Tracee- I also love the GS series, and Imax 3 is also my fav. Imax. You will definately enjoy them!

Marcy- Hope your DS feels better. Your yoga workout sounds good. I love doing yoga- afterwards I have an endorphin "high" because my body has been so well worked!

Good Afternoon Ladies!

I have probably missed you guys, but this is the first chance I have had to get on today.
I did MIS without the lower body part and it was still around 53 minutes. It is a long weight workout and pretty tough, but I don't go as heavy as Cathe does.
It was 17 degrees here this morning.....BBBRRRRR!!! I think it is up to 50 now, but I am so ready for Spring!:(

Tracee-- You will love GS. They are my favs.

Marcy--You have done so well considering you have been sick. Don't be too hard on yourself. Sorry that your DS now is sick. I feel as if I need to wear a mask at school with so many coughing children!:p

Have a good evening!
