Good Morning Girls

Today was S&H legs and shoulders, but I substituted CTX leaner legs for the S&H legs. Wow! what a workout! I was so in the "slow and heavy" mode, the endurance workout really knocked me for a loop:) It was tough, continuous, and boy was I glad I used a 35# barbell! I followed Cathe for all the weights, I had debated about doing 40# on the barbell, glad I didn't! Then back to S&H shoulders and then onto abs- I did CTX kickbox planks thru to roll ups and then leaner legs abs. All in all, a very good workout today!

Not much planned today, just going to do projects around the house with DH. The kids have plans to play with friends, so this should be a good day for that.

Tracee- As much as I like S&H isn't it nice to know we are moving on next week? How did today go for you?

Marcy- Thanks for the leaner legs suggestion. I was much happier with doing that before shoulders today. How was Dancing with the Stars? Can't wait to hear about it!:)

Gin- what did you end up doing today? Hope it was fun, and I'm so glad you like David Swenson. I am going to try to do his 45 min. practice tomorrow.

I am still not feeling 100%, so have not worked out today, but IF I feel better later will do KickMax. Wondering if I have Strep?? BLAAAAAHHH!!:-(

Deanie--Sounds like you had a great workout!! HOw long did all of that take you? I looked at the clip from Cardio Kicks and boy, does it look like fun. That is the next one that I want. What do you think of Circuit Max? I have a Q about the rotation next week...What is Power Max? Never heard of it. Enjoy your day at home.

Gin-maybe I shouldn't have worked out this morning. I am getting quite a workout doing all the work around the house:) I like Circuit Max - the dvd is definately worth it. A-Jock uses both workouts in her mish moshes, and they are great workouts standing alone. Cardio Kicks is really fun! I like CM because it mixes it up: some high low, some kickbox, some step with weight work inbetween. Very challenging!
I think this mornings workout took about an hour and 20 min.- I had extra time, it being Sat.
Power Max is a straight step tape- from Cathes earlier days (I have it on video) I was actually debating today, when I set up for next week, if I wanted to do that or Rhythmic Step which I love. I also was thinking of Cardio fusion without the DM drills for Tues. What do you think? I'm open for change. Are you doing cardio next week?

I hope you feel better, and aren't getting strep!!!

Hi Deanie! (everybody else seems to be MIA today)
I am sooooo ready for some cardio! I'm feeling a little better and am going to do Kick Max Low Impact Timesaver now. I am trying to ease into the cardio and see what I can do without re-injuring my leg. Cardio sounds great for next week!
This is what I have for next week. Tell me if you will change anything.
1: Power Hour
2: Imax (I have 1 and 3)
3: Drill Max
4: KPC
5: Power Hour
6: Power Max (I'll have to substitute)
7: Off

Do we do this for 2 weeks?

I think I will tell DH I want CK/CM for Valentine's Day. That is a good V-Day gift, don't you think??:D

Hey Gin-
You are on the money for next week. I was going to sub cardio fusion without DM cycles for the Imax day, I haven't done it in a while and actually miss it. Also thinking about Rhythmic Step instead of Power Max. The week after is:

Day 1: ME
Day 2: Imax of choice
Day 3: BC
Day 4: CK
Day 5: ME
Day 6: Step Blast
Day 7: off

Is MIS muscle endurance or strenth? not sure and ME is not my favorite and would be happy to sub one day of it.

CM/CK is a great:7 valentines gift!
