Good Morning Girls:)

Today was S&H legs and shoulders for me. I ended up doing the workout as is. I think next week I will change it. I did 55# for squats and 50# for lunges and 45# for plie squats and then my shoulders were fatiqued from the barbell and I couldn't up my weights for shoulders! Legs got a good workout though:) No matter what I do, the last shoulder excersise I can never do more than 3#. Cathe does that excersise on another dvd, and I still do only 3#.

Marcy- count me in! Debbies rotaion in 4 weeks.

Tracee- are you in!?

Good morning Deanie (and hopefully Tracee):

Deanie - good work today. You really are going heavy. Do you find your legs bulking up at all from the heavy lifting? Maybe next time try going easy on the legs so you can do more for the shoulders. What shoulder exercise is it that's so tough?

Today is my rest day. If I get a chance I might try and do some yoga later on. I'm getting my downstairs painted today so everything is a mess. Tomorrow I'm going to try and do Boot Camp. I decided just to do my own thing for this week:

Monday: Muscle Max
Tues: Salsa Tape
Wed: MAD Moves (Patrick)
Thurs: Supersets or Push/Pull and dancing
Fri: Yoga or Pilates and Stretch
Sat: Circuit workout

Marcy- I think it is the lying side extensions. You lie on your side and your arm is at a 45 degree angle (elbow bent by your hip). I can't seem to go past 3#!:) No, I don't find my legs bulk from the heavy lifting, but I only go heavy on legs if I'm working them once a week. Otherwise, they probably would bulk. I am going to either go lighter and work on form next week, or just do CTX legs instead. Personally, I'd rather work on my shoulders than my legs.

I like Supersets and Push Pull. they usually get a bad rap on the forums, but I like them. They also have great premixes.

Good Afternoon Ladies!
I am back, but very TIRED. We had an overnight flight and I am never able to sleep on planes. I think I will unpack, shower and take a long nap!:p
I took a few dvds and a band with me and they had a set of 8 # in the condo...so better than nothing. Plus we took a few walks and hikes. I just alternated each day with upper body/abs and lower body/yoga.
I finally saw the P90X infomercial and it does look interesting. I would be interested in a P90X-type rotation using Cathe.
You guys will have to fill me in on what I have missed.
The best news is that I lost a lb. Somehow I eat less on vacations...YEAH!!:D

I'm so frustrated right now so this is going to be a short message. I had a big message all typed out and part of it was about my DD who won't leave my side while I'm at home and how she was trying to "help" me as I typed. Anyway, she managed to push something and the entire thing was lost. x(

Gin - glad you're back. Can't wait to hear more about your trip.

Deanie - I know what you mean about the lying side extensions. I have been using 5#'s but I don't do all 8 reps. I think I quit at 6.

Marcy and Deanie - I'd be glad to do Debbie's rotation with you. I definitely enjoy having people to talk to who are following the same rotation as me.
