Good Morning!

I did HSC this morning modifying the cardio and I really like this workout!! I think it will be one of my favorites.
Did anyone do SJP? I like that one but not ready to J!!x( Swim class tonight.

I have stayed out of the m&m jar and the Hershey kiss bowl the last 2 days....yeah!!

Hi Gin and all who follow:

This morning I had a double dose of Cathe. I did the hi/lo portion of MIC and all the blasts from Low Max. I did the warmup from MIC and the cooldown and stretch from Low Max. I've never done these in combination before like this but it was great. I burned 565 calories. The only problem I have with MIC is that I feel like I constantly have to pee. Had to run to the bathroom 3x. Otherwise, I got through it. Felt a little easier than the last time. I still have to stop at times because my heartrate goes through the roof.

Gin - Good for you for staying out of the M&M jar and Hershey kiss bowl. I am not eating chocolate for lent so I'm staying out of the candy bowl at home. My DH always makes sure it's full so it's not easy!

Hi Gin & Marcy ~ Do you mind if I join in the Check-in?
I am hoping joining will keep me in line w/ my eating and workouts...:)

Last night I did Lo-Max, I forgot how much fun this one is, the time flew by...I am currently following Cath'e Feb. Rotation, so tonight is SJP.

I did well on my eating yesterday, but failed today and had a dark chocolate Dove bar...well they say dark chocolate is good for you, right? :p Made up for it and had a Ham Sandwich on WW Bread and fruit for lunch, breakfast was a Pria bar.
I am really surprised how well I feel if I eat correctly, I had sooo much energy last night working out...I def. put my all into it...It felt really good!

Hi Jennifer,

We'd love for you to join our check-in. The more, the merrier. FYI, starting Monday we will be following Debbie's (FitnessFreak) January rotation.

I love dark chocolate too. Don't feel like I'm cheating quite that bad because it's supposed to be good for me. Nobody in my house likes dark chocolate except me so if I buy it, it's dangerous. I usually try to count our the serving size and stop there. Last night I had Lays potato chips. There's no way I can eat just one of these so I also counted out 15 chips and stopped. I have to start buying the baked Lays again. They're better for you and I don't have to feel quite as guilty.

What Rotation are you following now?

I know, I try the portion control, but then I eat the whole darn package, it is really hard for me to stop. The other day my daughter was eating Oreo's, the serving size was (2), yeah, right I had about 10....LOL. :)

New week, new me...I am starting to clean up my diet. I am looking for increased definition.

I believe the rest of the gang is following the end of Cathe's January rotation. They were just coming off following Deanie's rotation (hence our check-in name). I took a month off from Cathe and heavy weights and have been doing Jari Love and workouts from other instructors I haven't gotten around to doing (Seasun Zieger, yoga workouts (Bryan Kest, Tony Horton (P90X)). I love Cathe but I need the variety sometimes. I also love complex choreography so occasionally I substitute with Christi Taylor, Patrick Goudeau or Rob Glick.

Good Afternoon Everyone!
Welcome Jennifer!

I can't believe this is my first opportunity to get on the computer today! I did SJP this morning, used the same weights as Cathe. I like this workout, but its not my favorite. I usually end up doing the cardio only for a cardio day. Tommorrow is 45 min. run and B&G stability ball abs. I am either going to do the elliptical or a mish mosh of hi/lo since I won't be running at 6 am (kids will be sleeping)

Jennifer- we are doing CAthe's Jan 07 rotation- the first week, before we start Debbies jan 07 rotation.

Tracee- what are you doing tomorrow?

Gin- I'm glad you enjoyed your new dvd!!:)

Marcy- I like your mish mosh you did today. I've been thinking of doing LM blasts and KM legwork as a leg workout one day, but I never get to it!

Hey Deanie! I was wondering what happened to you. This morning's workout was quite intense. My inner thighs are really hurting right now. I love B&G stability ball abs. I might just do them tomorrow or PUB abs. I think I'm doing Slim & Lean by Jari Love or New You Coming by Kelly Coffey-Meyer.

Jennifer--Welcome! We are glad to have you join us!! Do you always workout at night? I don't much energy at the end of the day. I also like dark chocolate, but had to stop because like the potato chips, I can't eat just one!:p

Marcy--What a workout you did this morning! 565 calories is a lot to burn! How many workouts do you own? I'm wondering if my calves were hurting b/c I need new shoes. I ordered the Rykas a couple of weeks ago. They should be in by now. I think I am going to take my measurements on March 1 like you did in Jan. and then again April 1.

Deanie--Do you have an elliptical machine at home? I will do that also after yoga tomorrow since I can't run and also B&G abs.

Where is Tracee today?
Off to swim in an hour. Hope I have the energy!!:p

Hi Ladies. Hope all is well w/ everyone!

Tonight went well, did SJP, another goodie that I haven't done in a while....I was really feeling the Ab portion.
Dinner was quick, a PB&J on W/W & Salad...probably not the best mixture, but I wanted to get my veggies in for the day since I didn't get any in yesterday.

I used to work out in the morning. For a few years I was getting up like clock work @ 4:30 every morning, I don't know what happened (guess I am getting old), but I have NO energy at all to get out of bed in the morning. I would love to get it over and done with, but it's just not happening, plus I remember having so much more energy when I worked out first thing. We'll see, maybe I will try again.

Off to take the dogs out!
