Deanie's Rotation Check In TGIF

Good Morning Ladies. I did LIC cardio blast premix this morning. I really enjoy that one. I should probably have a list somewhere of all of my favorite workouts so I can choose one quickly when I don't have something planned.

I'm glad Deanie told you guys what ETA means. I never got back on the computer last night so I didn't read your questions until today. I know how frustrating it is when you can't figure out those shortcuts.

How is the weather going to be for you guys this weekend? It's supposed to get frigid here. They are predicting wind chills around 30 below!! That is good blanket and fireplace weather if you ask me.

Any of you guys have a favorite team in the Super Bowl? I like them both so I don't think I'm going to root for either team but I'm a little more into it this year than I have been in the past, not sure why.

Today is Groundhogs day, but I don't know if he's seen his shadow. I hope spring is coming!:)

Today was Cardio Kicks for me. I love this workout!!! Everytime I do it I think, this is my favorite kickbox. Then I do KPC and think the same thing- LOL! I am always happy when she brings the 2 guys up front with her, and I know the end is near.

The weather here was supposed to be bad, accumilation of snow. We (my family) were so excited!!!! In the end, it turned out to be nothing, just some ice and school is delayed for 2 hours. I'm wondering if we will get anything this weekend.

Tracee- It sounds like its going to be really cold for you. }( I hope you have plenty of firewood and hot choc. I don't really like football, but I always watch the superbowl, mostly for the commercials and 1/2 time show. But this year I am cheering for the Bears, don't know why, just am. The rest of my family is cheering for the other team.

Marcy- tomorrow is S&H legs and shoulders for me. I am undecided, should I do S&H legs and lower my weight (leaning towards this choice) or do CTX leaner legs (again, less weight)? What do you think? I don't want to go heavy with legs again because I think it stresses my shoulders. Also, I am going to check out Cathes Jan. rotation! very impressed with your inches lost!

Gin- hope you had a great workout today!

Hi ladies. Happy Friday! It was supposed to snow here but nothing happened. It is supposed to get real cold though over the weekend, in the teens.

Today was Supersets for me. I really enjoyed this workout. Lots of work on the ball which I'm finding out I really like. The concentration curl section seemed to go on FOREVER! 16 single reps and then I don't know how many bonus reps with different counts. Started out with 13# for the first 16 and then went down to 10#. This was much longer than the concentration curls in GS BS&B. The rest of my weights were:

36# - chest press
40# deadlifts - I love deadlifts!
8# - Front and side raise on ball - tough!
36# - Plie Squats
15# - Pullovers on ball - should have gone heavier
15# - incline flyes on ball
5# - fron raise for rotator cuff
10# - 1 legged squats
15# - seated overhead press for first 10 reps; 10# for last 4 reps
20# - bbl preacher curls - tough!
10# - lying tricep extensions on ball 16 reps

Deanie - I don't have Cardio Kicks. How does it compare to KPC and Kick Max? I would try Leaner Legs. I don't have that one but I hear it is a killer. Maybe you need something different and this is more for endurance.

Tracee - I hate to say it but I don't root for any team. I'm not a football fan although I do like the halftime show. I'm more of a baseball fan. Growing up in the Bronx, I became a Yankee fan. I live in Queens now but I remained a Yankee fan. It's kind of funny when I go to a ball game with my father. He's a Met fan and I'm Yankees. You'd be surprised how many other people are the same way.

Gin - Hope you have a great workout.

I'm going to see Dancing with the Stars tonight. Tomorrow I'm going to try and do MIC hi/lo and maybe Sunday I'll try and do some yoga.

Thanks for the compliments everyone on my inches lost. I didn't think I did that well. I will be definitely be doing monthly measurements from now on. Hope I have just as good results next month.

Marcy- I like CK!:) I like it just as much as KPC, actually this morning I was thinking KPC could kinda be called Cardio Kicks 2. They both start off with cardio, then drills, just the drills are different. I highly recommend it. I'm not a big fan of KM, when I do it I usually only do the bootcamp premix. My DH was reading over my shoulder, he is from Queens also, Kew Gardens. His parents lived with his grandparents till he was 5 in the Birchwood Towers. I'm a Jersey Girl myself, But we are both Met fans!!:)

Good Afternoon!
I am probably too late today for you guys, but I just came home from running errands after school.
I slept late today (was feeling under the weather) but NOW I feel like doing Legs & Shoulders.

Tracee--Glad you enjoyed LIC Cardio Blast. Can't wait until my leg heals, so I can start back with the cardio!! Hope L&G doesn't bother it!! It is supposed to be in the 20's in the morning here. We had snow falling yesterday, but it didn't stick. Doesn't snow here very often. I am not so much of a football fan, but will watch Billy Joel during Halftime. My DH would watch ANY football game, so I know it will be on.

Deanie--The groundhog did NOT see his shadow this morning, so Spring will soon be here. I'll believe when I see it!!:D I have never done Cardio Kicks...sounds like fun. I may do Kick Max tomorrow. I figure it must have less jumping for my leg.

Marcy--Tell us about Dancing with the Stars. How Fun!! I was hooked on the show.
