Good Morning all :)

Today was PLB. LOVED IT!! I haven't done it in a while, so I did the same weights as Cathe, except back. on back I did 35-40-45. I even completed the stability ball portion, which is a personal best for me. I usually have to follow Brenda for the second leg of the outer thigh work for the last excersise. (hope that makes sense). Tomorrow is the run on the treadmill and I'm going to do MIS abs so I'm not doing abs 2 days in a row again.

Today is graduation:7 :7 The weather looks iffy and I hope it holds out for the pool party for the kids. DH loved the new dress, so I'm happy!

Marcy- Have a great time at your sons graduation!:7

Gin/Tracee- Hope you had a good workout!

Joke of the day:
WIFE VS. HUSBAND

A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word. An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position. As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs, the husband asked sarcastically, "Relatives of yours?"

"Yep," the wife replied, "in-laws."

A friend sent it to me and I LMAO!! thought I'd share:)

Have a great day all-

Good morning ladies.

Today was PLB for me as well and I loved it too. Well, about as much as I love any leg workout. :p I enjoyed it with the barbell but did feel like I had to rush through changing the weights. I was also able to go heavier than in the past because of the barbell so that is a good thing.

Congrats Deanie for making it all the way through the ball exercises, those are tough. I was thinking in my head while I was doing them that they were just overkill. Ha!

I'm thinking of doing a yoga or pilates workout tomorrow morning since I don't want to run outside that early in the morning.

Loved the joke!

Gin and Marcy - hope you had great workouts today.

Good Morning Ladies!

Today I went my yoga class and then decided to do 15 min. each on treadmill, treadclimber and elliptical machines. I have been really tired in the morning since taking this headache preventative med. I'm thinking I may rather have headaches than feel this way!x( x( x( I may be really challenged this weekend with getting my exercsie in. I talked to my SIL last night and their dvd player is not working and one of my nephews may not want to go to golf camp when I am there, so can't do a workout dvd at home or run outside. Oh well, we'll see.
The good news is that my hamstrings are just a tiny bit sore from yesterday.
I looked at the abs section of PUB yesterday and they look really good. Can't wait to try them out!

Deanie--WTG on the lower body weights!! Have you been running on the treadmill? Sending good weather vibes your way for the pool party. Thanks for the cute joke.

Tracee--Glad you could use your new barbell with PLB.

Marcy--Have a great workout!

Good Morning Ladies!

Today was Back & Biceps for me. I had a really good workout except for the pullups/chinups.

Lawnmowers: 8 reps at 35# (up 2#)
21s: 21 reps at 16# (up 1#)
One-Arm Cross-Body Curls: 8 reps at 16# (up 1#)
Elbows-Out Lawnmowers: 8 reps at 35# (up 2#)
Standing Bicep Curls: 10 reps at 17.5# (up 1.5#)
One-Arm Concentration Curls: 8 reps at 17.5# (up 2.5#)
Reverse Grip Bent-Over Rows: 9 reps at 30.5# (up 1.5#)
Open Arm Curls: 10 reps at 16.5# (up 1.5#)
Static Arm Curls: 16 reps at 14.5# (up 3 reps but down 1/2#)
Congdon Locomotives: 40 reps at 17.5# (up 1.5#)
Crouching Cohen Curls: 10 reps at 16.5# (up 1.5#)
One-Arm Corkscrew Curls: 10 reps at 16.5# (up 1.5#)
Seated Bent-Over Flys: 12 reps at 20.5# (up 1.5#)
Curl-Up Hammer Downs: 8 reps at 15# (still tough, but felt better today)
Hammer Curls: 9 reps at 15#
In-Out Hammer Curls: 8 reps at 15# (went up 2#)
Strip-Set Curls: 4 reps at 19# (up 2 reps), 6 reps at 16# (up 1 rep), 6 reps at 15# (up 1 rep), 4 reps at 13# (down 1 rep)

I finally got my strength back for hammer curls which felt really good. I ran out of time again for Ab Ripper X so I went back to my beloved Cathe and did SJP abs. Really felt it in my upper abs. Planks almost seemed easy, was able to do them all. I have to admit I'm looking forward to the end of the X by now but it's only 3 1/2 more weeks so I think I can stand it just a little more.

Deanie - The weather looks iffy here too and not too warm but I hope everything works out for graduation. I usually fall apart on the 2nd side of the leg lifts on the ball so I always try to alternate side each time I do it. Glad you had a great workout. Loved the joke!

Tracee - Glad you liked PLB as well. Yes, changing weights is a real pain. I had the same problems today. Back & Biceps is actually the shortest workout and it takes me the longest because of all the weight changes.

Gin - Hope you manage to get some exercise in. Maybe you could bring a band with you and do some band exercises. I did that when I went on vacation. Also you could do some core work without the DVDs.

Have a great day everyone.
