Good Morning Ladies!

Today I did BB's Core Power, Core Max Complete Core, and Stretch Max #2. First time to do Core Power and I liked it. It was only about 24 min.

Marcy--You have really whittled your hips down, you tiny thing you! How long did it take? My DH works out 2-3 times a week, either runs 2-3 miles, elliptical or weights. He is just not very consistent which drives me crazy.

Deanie--Are you ready to start teaching? I have been slowly working on getting my room ready, but am still enjoying the summer.

Tracee--What workout did you do today? Don't know if you read yesterday's post.

Cheryl--Is your computer up and running?

Have a great day!

Good Morning Gin and all who come after!!

Today I did Core Synergistics. I really enjoyed it/Tony. Since I haven't done this in weeks, I stayed with the 3# weights for all the excersises, and didnn't count my reps for the pushups. I did notice one thing, for the sphinx pushups he says its easier with your arms out further, yet I find it easier with my elbows closer to my ribs. weird...

Gin~ I am getting excited about teaching! 3 more weeks. I haven't been to the classroom yet though...Is BB's core power yoga? sounds interesting at 24 min.

Marcy~ whats on the agenda today?

Tracee/Cheryl~ Hope you guys have a great workout.

Off for a haircut and highlights....(I'm going to get at least 4" cut off, we'll see if DH and DSs notice!!:) )

Hi Girls!

Today was David Swenson's 45 min. practice. I had wanted to do the 2nd Series but was up late actually watching the 3rd Series which is really intense with lots and lots of arm balances and some crazy hip openers. I've never seen anyone move like him. Anyway, I managed to do 2 very quick headstands. I like the way he explains how to do them when he says most of the weights goes to your forearms. That really helped me.

Our new realtor is coming to take pictures today.

Gin - I started with Cathe at the end of October of 2005. I finally got my hips down to 34" in May of '07. At least your DH works out. Mine doesn't but he is very physical with his job (he moves a lot of steel every day) and is always busy outside mowing and working in the garden. You might have enabled me. I'll have to put Core Power on my Wish List but I have enough core work for now so I think I'll hold off a little bit.

Deanie - 4" sounds drastic although I remember when I got pregnant the first time I chopped it real short. Have you been planning this awhile? I really need to get highlights myself. Maybe I'll get them before the end of the summer.

Tracee - Hope you have a great workout today.

Cheryl - How's everything going? Are things going a little smoother with school? Are you joining us for the new rotation? Hope you have a good workout as well.

Marcy

Good Afternoon all:)

Marcy~ I like DS 45 min. practice. I think you still get a good workout with it.

I did go ahead and get 4" off my hair. I have been thinking about it for about a week now. I also got blond and auburn highlights. Then she was so excited about the cut and color, the hair dresser blew it out straight for me!!!:) I haven't blown my hair out straight since High School!! DH has never seen me with straight hair!! Needless to say, everyone noticed when I got home. The funny thing is, aparently, they rehearsed saying "your hair looks great mom!!" (I heard my DH "reminding them" as I walked up the stairs) :) My DH REALLY liked it;) !! And took pictures (the big goof)

I'm looking forward to hearing more about the new dvds on the blog. I'm wondering if they will be ready by Sept?

Deanie

Hi Again!

Deanie - I'm glad your hair came out the way you wanted it. It sounds great with the blond and auburn highlights. I've always had to perm my hair to get the curls. Once I did it myself and my DH woke up and he said it was like living with Little Orphan Annie!:7 So, is it at your shoulders now or shorter?

I'm going to assume Cathe's real hard at work trying to get these done. I have a feeling they'll be ready sometime in Sept. hopefully earlier in the month rather than later. I'm enjoying my recovery week so far. Tomorrow is Dancing With the Stars, Thursday will be Tracey's Core Strength & Conditioning and Friday will be yoga again - I think I'm going to try Yoga Shakti but if I get up too late, I might do Baron. Plus, it's cleaning day so I can't do too long a workout. What's your plan for the rest of the week?

Marcy

Hey :)

My rest of the week plan is...
Wed.: off
thurs: KPC/KM combos only
fri: yoga
sat: core syn.

OR...

wed: KM/KPC combos only
thurs.: yoga
fri: core syn
and have the weekend off

I'll have to wait and see how I feel when I wake up tomorrow. Who knows? I may be wild and take wed. and the weekend off!!!!!}( }( I know I definately want to do core syn. again, I really enjoy it.

And yes, my hair is still about 1/2" below my shoulders (blown out, so I'm thinking it will be about at my shoulders when I go curly)

Deanie

PS Are we all starting the new rotation on Monday? I am.

Good Afternoon Ladies!

Deanie--BB's Core Power is yoga with an emphasis on core. I think it is also called "Abs, Back and Bliss". Your haircut sounds so pretty. I would love for you to send an e-mail pic! I love your curls, but fun to be able to change it.

Marcy--I don't have DS's 3rd series. Sounds like hardcore yoga!}(

Rest of the week for me...
Wed.--yoga class, KPC/KM combo
Thurs.--Core Syn. (if I have time!)
Fri.--run??
Sat.--3 RT classes ..Wish you could guys could all join me!!!:-(

I do plan on starting the new rotation next week, but will have to start on either Tues. (coming home around noon) or Wed.

Gin:)

Hi Gin!

I'll be there with you in spirit on the Road Trip. Do you know what classes she'll be doing on Saturday? I know you said there's a step class on Fri. night. DS's is the most hardcore yoga I have found. I don't think it gets any harder than that. I don't know if I'll ever get to that level but it will be fun trying. Anyone else from your area going on the road trip?

Marcy

Hi girls! I wasn't going to check in today since I didn't get up to workout but guilt got the better of me.

Gin - Yes, I did see your response yesterday. Thanks for the advice and it did make sense.

You guys are all so motivating and I love reading about how much fun you have doing most of the workouts. Since I'm usually on the other end of the spectrum as far as dreading them it's nice to read about other people's perspective.

I'm not sure what I'll be doing the rest of the week but I can already tell that it's not going to involve too many workouts. My head just isn't into it right now so I think it's better that I take some complete time off. I just hope I start back up on Monday and don't fall off the wagon completely. Yikes! Sorry, I don't mean to make it sound that dramatic because it really isn't but I still always have those nagging doubts in the back of my head.

Have a good evening and I'll check in tomorrow.

Tracee

I have probably missed everyone, but, oh well.

Marcy--If anyone is up to doing David Swenson's yoga, it would be you, and Deanie!! Friday from 6-10pm is the Meet and Greet which includes food and games, but no workout. We have 3 classes on Sat starting with a step class, but she hasn't said which class after. We have speakers and lunch in between the Sat. classes and then Sun is 1 class and ends with a Brunch. The other classes will be Boot Camp, Kickbox, and Curcuit, but not sure when each will be.

Tracee--Hang in there with us!! Maybe just take a complete rest week and start up again fresh on Monday. It is understandable to become burned out every one in awhile. Please stay with us!:)

Gin

Hi all!!

first of all, I have to apologize for not posting regularly. My internet is still not working. First they said it was my modem and now they are telling me it's a cable in my wall. My brother in law knows everything there is to know about computers and he is at my place (while I'm at his) checking it out to see if he can get it fixed for me. Grrrrr!!!!

Next, i am thrilled I have not missed the start of the next rotation. I am amazed at how much better I do with a schedule. I always worked out before but the schedule really kicked me into action and allowed no excuses!!

This week is absolutely horrible with school (1 exam / 1 quiz / 1 mini paper / 1 medium paper / 1 big paper - all due this week!!!) I'm stressing a bit and working out this week will be sporadic at best!

Which rotation are we doing again???
