Good Afternoon!
I was actually the first to post this morning but DH needed to check his e-mail so I never got to finish my post. I finally got my car back today. Yesterday we got to ride in a Chevy Suburban which was really nice but we could never afford to put the gas in that thing. It only got 10 mpg! We also saw Chuck & Larry today. It was really funny. I did my workout last night and was too late to post.
I did Core Max 2 (which I found pretty easy) and Butts & Guts which I haven't done in a while. B&G felt really good. I did everything except the bbl squats. I really like the deadlifts with my feet on the dumbbells. I really felt it in my glutes and core and was able to keep the bbl really close to my legs. This workout went pretty fast for me and the floorwork wasn't as bad as it used to be for me.
I agree with all of you. I don't care for Cathe's August rotation so I'll be going along with the rest of you with GS & PS but won't be doing the extra 20 mins. runs. For rest week, I'll be doing the following but don't know yet what order:
Yoga 2x - I've been enjoying Shiva Rea's Fluid Power but I haven't tried Yoga Shakti yet so I think I'll have to try that and for my second one either Baron's Next Challenge or Swenson's 2nd Series.
I'll also be doing Tracy Staehle's Core Strength & Conditioning and possibly her Sweatfest. I'll do a kickbox (don't know which one yet) and will finally try my Dancing With the Stars. Gin, I keep hearing that the jive is the best one on this.
Deanie - Enjoy IMAX 3 tomorrow. I know I did. I also really like all the info regarding the premixes on the new DVDs. It will be really helpful to know what weights she uses for each premix.
Gin - I've loved all of Debbie's rotations. I've done her Circuit Mix, Advanced Endurance, her January rotation (I think it was Upper Body) and this last one. I always feel really good after doing one of her rotations. I've been dying to do a one body part a day but haven't gotten around to it yet so maybe after next month I might try it.
Tracee - I'm also glad you'll be able to do the next rotation with us. I guess Texas' hot weather came to NY because it's going to be in the 90s for the next week.
Cheryl - Hope you can join us for the next rotation. Let us know if we can help you if you need to sub although I'm sure you could sub your P90X workouts if you have a problem.
