Good Morning Girls :)

Today was super sets upper body blast. I really enjoyed it (surprise!) and had a good workout. I used the same weights as Cathe, and I'm sure I will be feeling it later. The hardest segment was the biceps. The second time around I had to pause before the bonus reps.

Cheryl~ Anyone can start the post:)

Gin~ I hope you are having a nice visit.

Tracee/Marcy~ What did you guys do today?

Have a great day,
Today is mega errands and music lessons day, so hopefully, I will~~~

Hi Ladies!

This morning was PUB. I knew it wasn't going to be a good morning. I started out later than I wanted to. Then in the middle of doing pullovers, my DH calls and I'm on the phone for 10 minutes. I had already decided I would only do the pyramid up premix. I was really mad because I made sure last night I had my weights all set up for this morning. I think I spend more time figuring out my weights than actually doing this workout. I don't think I'll be doing this again until I buy new dumbbells. It's just too much of a headache. I have to drag out every single dumbbell and plate that I own and it still doesn't seem to be enough. Sorry for my rant. Had to get it off my chest. Anyway, here are my weights:

Flies/Bench Press: 12-15-19
Pullovers: 15-19-23 (probably could've gone higher)
Double Arm Rows: 15-19-23 (again, could've gone higher)
Seated Rear Fly/Side Raise/Front Raise: 7-10-12 (the 12s were tough!)
Kickbacks: 8-10-12
Seated overhead press: 13-19-23 (should've gone to 25)
Hammer/Traditional Curls: 10-12-13 (these were tough!)

I did the abs first (thank goodness because I don't think I could've done them at the end.) I did them all except the last 2 pikes and the last 2 leg lifts on the ball. This is probably the toughest of Cathe's ab routines for me. KPC is my favorite though.

Cheryl: I don't really like Denise Austin. I only have one other of hers - Hit the Spot Abs which I haven't done in a long time - not since discovering Cathe. I really do like the Hit the Spot Pilates though, she's not too chatty in this one. I think with the levitation holds, you just to try different hand placements and see which one works for you. When she says "did you lower yourself down or plop down?" it's usually the latter for me. Those wall squats in Legs & Back are a real killer. They were the hardest for me. I think if you're used to doing ARX, BM2 abs aren't so bad. They were much easier for me after I was done with the X. And yes, it's perfectly okay for you to start a thread.

Deanie: Yes, biceps are real tough in SS. They just go on forever. I don't think I've ever made it through all the reps yet. Did you see the blog update on higher intensity step? It looks great to me. Will probably be my favorite.

Gin: Hope you're having a nice visit with your mom.

Tracee: Hope you had a great workout.

Just had a minute, I can't believe we were the only ones today!!!LOL

Marcy~Its a good thing I am sitting down, 7-10-12 for shoulders! WOW that is great! I always struggle with the 7s and I only do 8 reps with them:) Sorry your workout wasn't as good as you were hoping. I did see the blog, and kickbox is still the one I'm looking forward to the most. But time will tell....

Have a good evening (or hope you had a good evening:) )
