Good Morning Girls :)

Today I did coremax section 2 and S&H legs. It was a great workout. I used a 55# barbell for the squats and 50# barbell for the lunges and plie squats. Otherwise I followed Cathes weights for the prefatique of the legs.

I am too excited about the presale!!!:7 :7 I am not leaving the house on Monday untill I've ordered! (hmm... that sounds a little sad:eek: - but still not leaving till I've ordered!) LOL

Good Morning!

Today I did S&H Legs and Shoulders. I plan to do Core Max tomorrow. I followed Cathe with the same weights on legs, except I don't have a barbell, so for squats I just used 2 20# dbls. For shoulders, I had to go down to 5# on 2nd and 3rd set of front raises and 3# on side lying external rotations. Those don't look tough, but they are.:eek: The leg portion doesn't seem nearly as tough as most of her other leg workouts.

I am also so excited about the presale. I got in on the very end of the last one and ordered in Sept. It seems as if they were $85. Does that seem right? We are all addicted!!:) A good addiction, though!

What is your opinion on the amount of abwork you do in a week?

Hey Gin~ Good job matching Cathe on legs. I also have to go to 3# on the side lying rotations! I like this rotation, but for abs I really noticed a difference doing 15ish min. 3 days a week. A good difference. I do think its good to mix it up though, so I am following the rotation. I only did coremax today, because I am going to philly tomorrrow and will have no time to workout.

what do you think about the ab work?

Years ago I would do abs 5 days a week (when I was doing the Firm). Now I don't really think about it, but probably do abwork 3-4 times a week. Although in the Pilates classs I have been going to, the instructor has us doing about 30 min. on abs! Do you think it is better to not work your abs 2 days in a row like other muscles? I have heard yes and no. I guess Cathe doesn't think this, since she came up with the rotation. I am rambling.....
Are you going to Hershey Park after all? How far a drive is Philly? TX is so big that it takes a long while to drive out of the state.

I don't know either about working abs 2 days in a row. I guess its okay, because Cathe has us doing it in her rotations. I just try not to if possible. We are not going to Hershey, we have my grandmothers unveiling. (Jewish people don't put up a headstone till a year later: it's called an unveiling. And we have a little ceremony) My parents and grandparents are from Philly, though I only have an aunt and uncle and one grandmom that still live there. From where we live in MD. to the gravesite in Philly is about 2 and a half hours. But afterwards we are going to my aunts, since most of the family will be together (doesn't happen often) And thats 3 hours from us. We are doing the trip in one day! x( Now I'm rambling! :)

what are you doing on Monday? I will be doing 45 min on the treadmill. (although I thought about doing DM cardio only!)
