Good Morning!

Woo Hoo!!! I get to go to work today:) Yippee!!!!!!:):) The sad thing is...Im serious!:confused: I had one helleva day yesterday. He was sooo bad! He screamed for 75% of the day. I thought that maybe he was coming down with something but he slept right through the night. DH even had the tylenol and juice ready to give him! LOL He was restless when he went to sleep as well so thats why we got the tylenol ready. Ya never know when their gums are bothering them. All he as left to cut are his molars and Im sure thats not pleasant.

So get this one; yesterday morning I was sorting through some pics, while DS was in the laundry room,door closed, playing with a toy that lights up. From my laundry room, you go into my bathroom and this is where he had gone and I didn't know it. I went into the laundry room and he wasn't there, went to go into the bathroom and he had the door locked. I unlocked the door and when I went in he had everything hauled out of the closet and the tolit was clogged. I was like....."what is down the tolit??"" Of course he didn't answer me! Then when I looked, he didn't have any pjs bottoms on!!! He flushed his pants down the tolit!!!:mad::mad: Now....who in their right minds...would flush PANTS down the tolit!? The tolit is working now but its only a matter of time before something goes haywire.

Last night we went out of out Anniversary supper, which was nice. I didn't over eat so when I went to bed I felt fine. We went to DH's store to look around after and the staff is getting ready for a yard sale and they had some nice workout clothes marked down to $20 so of course I grabbed a couple more workout tops!

Wendy** So ya fell down the stairs last night and lost your workout clothes???:eek: Did you hurt yourself?? Hopefully you aren't complaining in a bad back! ick!

Diana** Thats a good idea to take your workouts with you. When we go somewhere I usually take my sneakers. Even if I get a 30 mins workout in, its better then noth'in!

Ok...gotta get this workout started! CC# 8 today...hills!!!

Today's work out will be either CP&R or Pure Cardio. Not sure which type of torture I am in the mood for. Heheh. Then hopefully this evening will be Centergy class. OHM. Goodness knows I could use if after the day I had yesterday!!!! :rolleyes::confused::eek:

Lori:: Well hopefully (fingers crossed) nothing goes wrong today! LOL I STILL can't find my work clothes and YES, I have to go to work this morning!!!:eek: As for my fall, I am fine. Just that darned painful rug burn on my right forearm but I can work out with that! :p I seriously think your son not only flushed his pj pants down the toilet but MY work clothes too! :D Nice scores at DH's store. I love a good bargain! :)

Jen:: Nice low cals the other day! You barely hit my normal calorie intake WITHOUT alcohol! When I was doing SS I was able to stay under 1500 pretty easily but that was the only time. I am at 15-1600 these days and sometimes it's a struggle not to go higher! :confused: I shouldn't complain though cause starting with SS, the weight has been coming off so I'll shut up now! :p OMG Jen, you are turning Insanity into a soap opera in your own mind! LOL Too funny. ;)

Hope you enjoy Hip Hop Abs. It's not my style but have heard that it's a lot of fun! I had Rockin' Abs for a while. It was ok but again, just not my thing so I sold it. TBH, I have no idea what changed and caused me to start dropping the pounds. It started with my SS rotation and continued with Insanity. These are 2 drastically different rotations so I have no idea what made the difference!!! I guess you just gotta keep trying new things in both your work outs and your diet! Something will eventually work! Goodness knows it took me MONTHS to figure it out! :eek: At my highest after after gaining the weight in summer 2008, I was about 10# heavier then I am now. Now I am 2# lighter then I was before I gained the weight so it IS possible! :) I am keeping my fingers crossed that Insanity makes the difference for you since you've already dropped a few pounds since starting it!

Laura:: Glad to hear you are going to take a bit of a rest week now that you've satisfied your curiousity! Okay, I was gonna reach through the computer screen and punch you if you were trying to say that Insanity is EASY! :eek: LOL You DO have an unfair advantage with all of the plyo you do in your classes every week though so I'll bet it IS atleast a bit easier for you then for the rest of us!

Oh you guys wouldn't beleive it...when DS woke up he was a pure angel! How the *ell did that happen when I have to go to work? He was in a good mood, just playing...I guess he was tired yesterday. He was a little clingy when I dropped him off at the sitters but when I left he was o.k.

I did CC#8 as planned, boy that one is tough. Then again, its all in how you set your settings. I thought I was gonna throw up atleast 3x's!:eek: Then I did ME abs. So far today I have had a protein bar and a bagel:) I figure if I keep eating every 2 hrs I shouldn't be that hungry!


Wendy** I had a day like that the other day. I was doing some paper work , at work, and when I looked it was gone! I couldn't find it anywhere! I had managed to put it in a folder that it didn't belong in! What a dummie! Enjoy your workout. I may do a UB workout tonight, if I have the energy!

Hi ladies,

I'm working from home today and had every intention of getting up early and starting my workout....that didn't happen. I actually slept in a bit and am trying to deal with a couple of issues at work.

My intention was to do BM original including the upperbody weights. It's such a fun workout for me. I still plan on doing this one today and maybe BM2 cardio premix tomorrow.

Lori-Sorry but I had to laugh when I read your story about DS. One of my kids when they were very little, somehow went into the bathroom and unrolled the roll of tp, took the sanitary supplies out from under the sink, q-tips and cotton balls were everywhere. Fortunately I found him before he put anything down the toilet. Nice job with CC#8.

Wendy-I pick CPR, that was my favorite w/o of M1....although I did see much improvement with PC by the end of the month. I've struggled with my weight for years, thankfully I love exercise or I would be as big as a house! Tracking makes a big difference for me. I didn't read that you fell down, glad there are no injuries.

I just saw that there is a 60 min spin class at 9am, that sounds pretty good too. I will probably miss my Sunday spin class if we are out of town.

Happy Hump Day Girls !

Well I'm on a roll of not working out here . . :confused: Shopped for a baby shower after work, came home, got ready to work out - now our Sharks games are not broadcast on our local cable channel ! WTF ! ! ! :mad: :mad: :mad: Needed to wash my hair last night so did that, we ate quickly and went down the street to a bar to watch the game. They almost came back but didn't. So no workout for me last night. Have a dr. appt mid afternoon so will come home after that and "play" with Shaun. Sorry Jen - I believe it is my turn ! :p

Wendy - Bummer about the slip and rug burn - those buggers hurt ! Hope you find your work clothes and enjoy your workout. So I missed it but sounds like you and Jen are counting cals and macros? Good job on that ! LOL about you saying you are a loser and post on FB - I'm sure if I had the time I would.

Lori - your DS cracks me up ! One of mine flushed a diaper down from the 2nd story. Had to call the plumber to get it out. Hope they went all the way through somehow. Bummer he is happy today while you are going to work - don't they know it should be the other way around. Well your race is hot on your heels, huh? Can't wait to hear how it goes. Happy Anniversary a day late ! Good to hear you got to go out - nice score on the workout tops !

Diana - I will get back onto some sort of "track" here today. May alternate month 1 with the recovery week disc and see how it goes. No workout will happen on Mon as I'll be travelling from 6 AM to 8 or 9 that night. Then will be back to near "normal" except for Sharks games. That gets kinda tricky to workout on the days we go to the games. I'll just keep chugging along. Good Job on the additional # ! You are doing well ! :D

Jen - am sooo cracking up at your posts re:Shaun. Too funny Girl ! :p Is the cal/macro counting making that scale budge? Hope the kids have a great time at the dance this weekend. I'm sure it will be fun to hear about it when the boys come back home.

Laura - how did SIL do last night? Bummer the "boys" have quit already ! :rolleyes: Sounds like you ladies are moving right along with Shaun. I'm sitting on the fence about getting excited for an entire hour of Shaun torture but if you girls are doing it I'll just put it out of my mind, pop the DVD in, hit "play" and GO ! Guessing they are over before you have a chance to breathe twice, huh?

Hey girlies!!!!!

I am STILL in another office!!!!:mad: .. I hauled arse back to town ysty and made it to class .. was about 8 min late ... but no worries .. MY GUYS were back ... THREE of them .. I thoght I had scared them off .. but they were back .. I did 4 step core, pushup, and lower body heavy weights .. threw in a couple of plyo moves in between .. and it was a toughie .. think the guys were surprised at how hard the LB shaping was .. they were making those grunting sounds and pouring sweat .. LOL ..and the core work kills them.

SIL did not come last night .. her DR. apnt was yest PM .. so she went home ... and when I called her she was doing the MAX CARDIO Conditioning and ABS ... cant tell her anything . . think she is OBSESSED w/insanity .. and will NOT take her recovery week or a rest day for the weeks ... the dr. was concerned b/c she had lost 8 pounds .. but she told them she was exercising harder and that she WAS eating enough ... but I think that is not right .. she has NO clue about nutrition .. I think she is not eating enough ...and what she is eating is CRAP .. she has lost so much muscle in her upper body .. I cant talk to her b/c she is so competitive ... w/her prv eating disorder .. it worries me some .. I may have a talk w/DB .. but I dont want to tick her off ..b/c we are so close!!

Wendy .. sorry for the tumble .. bless your heart .. and missing work clothes .. ??? .. LOL ... I usually loose SOCKS .. I have no idea where all my socks go .. I have a ton of white socks and very few match one another .. Why is that????? :confused:

Hello girly girls!!

Had to wait 'til my lunch hour to get here today. Hate that :mad: So unreasonable, isn't it? ;)

Did my second day of CC&B. You know, yesterday it was easy. Today it was less easy. Not in an "OMG my lungs are going to explode way", but in an "ouch my legs are kind of burning" way. And they've been sore ever since. I sincerely believe the effectiveness of this program is not in the workouts themselves, but in the layering of them. I love to read people's comments who've done one workout about how it was hard but totally doable, or they kept thinking "when's it going to get hard?" and I think, do a week of them. You're definitely feeling it by the end of the week. I think CC&B is going to be the same way.

Lori: I remember all too well those days like you had yesterday. One day you want to strangle the kid, the next day they're so perfect that you feel bad for ever wanting to strangle them! Boy, does he keep you busy though! At least he didn't hurt himself. I left my DD alone once, and she decided to cut herself an apple for a snack :eek: I walked into the kitchen to find her on top of the counter, apple and knife in hand, slicing through the apple and her finger at the same time! Blood everywhere! Thank God it looked way worse than it was, but man did it scare the livin' crap out of me. Didn't let her out of my sight again after that for years.

Wendy: Sorry to hear about your fall, but glad to hear you're okay! Is it safe now for me to say "Don't be such a klutz!"? You have to keep yourself healthy so you can start M2 with me on Monday :D (Yeah, that's right...it's all about me ;) ) Thanks re: the cals...had another good day yesterday with 1504 cals, 40.4 g fat, 172.3 g carbs, and 103.1g protein. Oh damn, I forgot to write down what the percentages were...but I was a tad high on the carbs. Should do better today. My cals include both my coffee with milk and my one Mike's Light last night.

Diana: I knew you wouldn't be crazy about CC&B. It's too slow for you, am I right? So what did you decide? Spinning or Bodymax?

Jacque: I have a total, unabashed crush on that man. I'm just running with it because hey, it keeps gettin' me out there every morning! Now be gentle with him today ;) Re: the calories...I've only been tracking again for two days. I had been doing so well with it before, but then I got lazy and plain sick of it, so I gave myself a break. Now I'm back on the wagon and cleaning up my act. I plan on watching the diet diligently through month 2 to see what kind of results I can get. So which workout is on tap for you today? Oh, btw, I friend requested you on FB.

Laura: LMAO about the guys grunting during the LB shaping! I love that you kick their bootays every time :D Sorry to hear SIL is worrying you. Maybe you can find a way to feed her yourself? Take her out for dinner and drinks and get some cals into her!

Well I just checked out my work out log and realized that today is supposed to be a rest day. I've worked out 6 days in a row as of y'day. I am taking Centergy class tonight so it will be an active rest day. I was tempted to say "to heck with it" and do an Insanity work out anyway but I don't want to get sick again so I won't push it! That being said, I am going to take a cat nap now. I'm tired. I was up at 4:30 this morning-for no good reason! :rolleyes:

I'll be back later to catch up on personals and to tell y'all about my morning at work. It was quite interesting! If you go on FB you'll see a bit about it there! Not ashamed to say that I was lovin' the ego boost! :D

Feeling a little lazy now. I could have alittle cat nap but surprisingly I have had lots of energy today and I have been in a wicked mood all day. I am normally in an "average" mood...nice to people when I don't really want to be but today I actually wanted to be nice:eek: crazy,hey? LOL

Tonight there is a meeting at the school, Im hoping one of us can swing going. One meeting is about DD V-ball team and the other one is re: a upcoming trip to Quebec. Not until May month but I have to make a down payment now and then pay for it all in March month. She best be on her best behaviour if she wants me to fork out $2000 + for a 5 days trip:confused:

Wendy** I seen your post on FB! I know what you are boasting about...hehe. Prehaps you didn't really "lose" your work clothes yesterday, prehaps you threw them out, just so you could wear something different today. I had a nice compliment today as well. One of the pilots couldn't beleive that I had 2 kids...asked me if I did some kind of Hollywood diet after I had them:D Nope...not the case at all!!

Laura** I can see why you are concerned about your SIL. So this is your brothers wife? My friend was complaining the other day b/c she didn't lose any weight. I asked her if she ate what I told her to and she said yes...but then said...I even ate less then what you told me to. Ha-Ha...the truth is coming out. We will see how this weeks weigh in goes.
Those guys are coming back to your class b/c they want to see the hottie teaching it!!!! Not cause its hard...you silly gal!:)

Jacque** Uh-oh...you are not being a very good girlie! Get to those workouts pronto! If you want I can seen DS to your house for the day and you will get a good workout in then! I was invited to a baby shower tonight via FB...I knew that she must have invited alot of people b/c I don't even talk to the girl. When I looked she had 248 people invited! Can you imagine if they all showed up? Tacky if you ask me!

Jen** DD had a few booboo's when she was growing up. One time she decided to sharpen her nails with a pencil sharpener! She cried until she fell asleep and she was older then, probably 4 or 5. Old enough to know the dif...or I would think.

Diana** So did you go to the spin class. I was in no hurry to get up when the alarm went off but once I did, I felt good.

I may bbl, we will see what happens when I get home~!

Hi ladies,

I have been so busy today I never got in a workout. I actually had my workout clothes on and DVD in the player...it still is.... I have been on the phone with work or emailing literally all day except for the time I was away at the Dentist.

I put some chicken breasts in the oven and have some asparagus to go with it. At least the eating is going okay...except for those darn chocolate chips!

DS and I both have to go back to get fillings. yuck. DS has already gone through braces and the Dentists noticed one of his teeth is moving. DS said his retainer doesn't fit anymore so I made an apt with the orthodontist who said to bring it in and he can adjust it. DS can't find it...it's one thing to have it adjusted, but I don't want to pay for another one. He's had his braces off for about 18 mos and wore his retainer regularly for the first 6 months, then on the weekends for the second six months.

Jacque-I'm off track too...but not too concerned about it. I plan on starting month 2 on Tuesday or Wednesday next week and filling in the rest of the days with alternating cardio and weights. Will probably throw in another CC&B somewhere too.

Laura-you just keep whipin' those boys into shape. Now they know us girls are no sissies!!!!! I sure hope SIL is okay. It's a delicate situation and I don't have any suggestions for you...other than mention it to your brother and let him deal with it.

Jen-In agreement that the workouts do get harder. I know towards the end of M1, my legs were shaking during the heisman..you know that weak feeling. This move didn't bother me at all in the beginning. No worries, I will be doing CC&B again, just not sure when.

Wendy-I'll have to pop over to FB and see what's been happenin' with you. It sounds good though...:)

Lori-Good luck with the school meeting. We pd 6K for Jerod to go to England and Scotland for 18 days. It was a great opportunity for him and he will probably be going to Australia...but we won't be paying for that until High School...when he will appreciate it more. Hope you told the pilot how much you work out...you deserve every compliment you get!

Well Yee Hawwwwww I finally got a workout in. It has been sooooo loooonnngg that I chickened out and did CC & B so I didn't kill myself. It is a nice workout - especially since I haven't done anything for a week other than walk ! :rolleyes: I am looking & feeling soft and gushy so tomorrow AM I hope I wake early enough to do a FB workout - short one before work. We have a hockey game to go to after work so that time is taken already. Perhaps I'll get some extra time in this weekend - Mon is out so I'll start Month 2 on Tues. Am kinda looking forward to a killer workout - I miss it and the adrenaline it brings . . .

Laura - give me your fax or email at work and I'll keep you busy ! ;) Hope things get back to normal there for you soon. Woo Hoo on beating the little boys up last night ! Crossing fingers SIL is doing well.

Jen - wow - my DD did the same thing with the knife and apple but I had run to work for just a bit. DS1 called my now DH and he went over to take care of it. No stitches but the butterflied it. First thing I bought after that was an apple corer. In fact I bought her one a couple years when she moved out of the house too ! :p I was a good ol gal with Shaun tonight - he'll be ready for you in the AM ! ;)

Lori - hope you get enough energy for Insanity. Sounds like DD will be owing you tons of babysitting time here pretty soon ! That could be a great thing ! :D

Diana - bummer about all the work issues - hope they are over for you soon. I've been skipping workouts so much I'm thinking the muscle is going by the wayside too ! :eek: Need to kick it into high gear and tonight was Day #1 ! Nothing really strenuous, just some endurance and I'll probably do a couple of the Month 1 vids. Nice DH taped Joe's ceremony for you - the parts we saw were really neat.

Diana** My teeth have moved alot since I had my braces off...which was in grade 8...so 18 yrs ago:eek: Ugh! My mouth would actually hurt some nights,I guess b/c my teeth were trying to move. I still have the retainer on the bottom teeth, inside. I guess he still has that as well? Its suppose to be there until my wisdom teeth grew up. I asked the dentist about it and he said that it as all changed. We are suppose to be wearing our retainers all the time now and the bottom retainer will never come off. Its kind of like a 2nd skin now anyway, its been there so long that I don't even know it. I wear my retainer sometimes but not as much as I should. I have an apt for the 23rd to get a filling done:confused: Its the last tooth back!!! My mouth won't feel very good after that. I bet the corners of my mouth will be cracked and everything!!! Ugh!!
