Damage Control ***WK of July 17th

Hi Ladies,

Thought I'd start a new weekly thread. Copying and pasting my previous post.

Good Morning,

Today is cardio of choice. Imax 3 or KPC I think.

DH made dinner the last two nights, ugh....he mixes all kinds of crap together and now my weight is up even more than it was a week ago when I went back to WW. I try not to complain too much, but he made potatoes, cheese, polish sausage etc in the crock pot, then added biscuits and potato salad. I cannot take all those carbs and the fat from the polish sausage seeping into the potatoes...yuck. When I cook dinner we have a lean protein source, steamed veggies, and occasionally baked potatoes or biscuits. I'm sure most of it's water, but just the same its like all the WW effort last week was futile. Very frustrated this morning.

Wendy-Nice w/o! What do you use in place of the sandbag? It looks like a kettlebell might work.

Laura-I saw you pic on FB, looks like your trip was successful!

Lori-how was your weekend?
 
Good Morning Ladies,

I came downstairs and DS forgot to make coffee last night, just waiting for it to brew. I'm thinking KPC to help workout the stiffness and soreness in my lower body.

This bootcamp class is making me so sore. We did the "Accumulator" w/o last night. We did 10 reps of most exercises and round 1 was exercise 1, round 2 was exercise 1 and 2, round 3 was exercise 1, 2, and 3 etc. The exercises were pushups, jump squats, dips, run 2 hills, run 1 lap, bicep curls with tubing, burpees, one leg squat, crunches, bicycle crunches. My legs are so sore this morning.

I ate really good yesterday and drank a ton of water...and it worked, I'm down 3.2lbs today. We all know that's water since you can't really gain or lose that much overnight. I'm still 2lbs above my weekly weigh in weight last Friday so there is time for a loss...crossing my fingers, eating good and exercising.

I may start Meso 3 tomorrow morning. I'm kind of ready to move on to something else, but want to see how heavy I can get with bicep curls. I think 52lbs was my max and I want to try and beat that.

Wendy-What's on your agenda today? I'm considering doing p90X.....what do you think...maybe in the fall or starting in Jan.

Laura-glad you had a fun time, even if the seas were not kind to you. With such rough seas how do you keep from getting sea sick? I'm sure you kicked butt in class last night!
