OK. More travel for me, so just checking in to say I will be MIA till Friday. Carrying my Garmin and hoping to run while I'm gone.

Saturday was KPC and yday was STS #32 (Plyo Legs). Feeling the DOMS already this morn!

I have some craaaazzzzzzyyyyyy DOMS goin' on right now from Disc 14. WOW! Very Disc 9 like! Today should be interesting! :confused::eek::) If you read my last post from y'day you'll already know that this means I am goin' for the PLAN B work out this morning! DEFINITELY! :eek:

Good Morning Ladies,

Wow, is it Monday already? Back to the grind I guess. Yesterday I did Cardio Fusion Mix & Match, an 80 min cardio sweatfest. It incorporates 1 segment of LIC, all drill max cardio and BM2 cardio. It was a great workout and I followed it up with coremax 3.

Legs are on tap for today, Lower Body Blast. I think I've only done this w/o once, but it has leg drills at the end where I can use my turbo tower.:) Last week legs were part of a full body w/o and tonique was my other leg w/o.

DS2 just turned 21 earlier this month. Well he went out Saturday night, told us he wasn't drinking. He ended up drinking way too much and was too sick to drive home until Sunday night. Then he took a shower and proceeded to lay on the bathroom floor for 4 hours until I told him he had to get out so his brother could shower.

Laura-have a safe trip! That's the nice thing about running, you can do it anywhere.

Wendy-so what cardio did you choose for today?

Today's work out was Step Moves...finally pulled it back out after ages of saying I would and not doing it. :rolleyes: So much fun!:D I only really had any trouble with the last segment and surprisingly enough when it came time for the challenge is when that segment "fell into place" for me. To think I was going to skip the challenge b/c I was worried segment 3 would ruin it!:confused: I followed that up with Ab Circuits No Equipment Abs. :)

Diana:: Had to giggle at your DS' trials as new legal age drinker. I remember those days! Some fondly and some, not so much! :p I actually got myself into a few situations like DS' long after I turned 21 too. :eek: It wasn't until I reached my 30's that I really started paying attn and learned/figured out my limits and how to have fun with out going overboard. ;) Let us know what you think of leg drills with the tower today! I love my tower a little bit more every time I use it! It seems to be a God send with Meso 2! Got it just in time! :D
 
MONDAY .. ugh

Hello Ladies ..

I had a beautiful weekend here in the South - loads of sunshine :cool: felt like summer already!! OUr plans got screwed up thanks to DH RENTAL HOUSES .. UGH .. can you say PIA!!! they are that!!!!! He had to work on one of them all day SAT .. but I enjoyed my day poolside anyway :eek: :cool: :D Fri after work went for a run/walk 7 miles in 1 hour 10 minutes .. :D .. not bad for an old woman who hasnt ran full out in forever!!!! It felt great - the trail is tuff tho - straight up hill for 1/4 of it ... ugh ... I had to walk the hills .. my old worn out knees cant take it!! Ysty DH and I went to Auburn shopping - bought some plants, flowers, and fruit trees .. came home and planted them .. looks awesome!!! Spring is here for sure!!!!

Wendy - you were cracking me up on FB - about your cooking skills - or lack there of .. LOL!! too funny :p and see you are LOVING the tower .. there goes that itch in the pocket book again!! DANG YOU!!!

DI - and you are not helping that itch either - both of you loving the tower .. hhhmmmmmmm .... Bless DS heart - well that may have taught him a lesson!!! but man that is a BAAAAD feeling .. think most all have been there at some point or another - a couple of episodes like that is why I mainly stick to light beer - and the reason vodka, wine, champagne, whiskey or forever off my "list" to drink .. ack .. I get queasey just thinking about those .. ack :confused:

I went for a walk/run today - but dang it was HOT out - got way too sweaty .. my lunch outdoor cardio is nearing the IT IS TOO FREAKING HOT catagory! Tonight will be circuit class - but think I am gonna mix it up a bit w/some step plyo work and BH'esque UB/LB torture!! :D Have a great one!;)
 
LauraT...Hmm...lets see...here are my thoughts of your "off limits alcohol list" , LOL! Well you should know already how much I lurve my wine...and how yummy I think chocolate (vodka) martinis are..champagne I only sip at a wedding w/the toast and whiskey? Um, no thanks! Blech! So I'll drink the wine and vodka for you but you can trash the rest as far as I'm concerned! :D:p Yeah-I've never delved very deep into the art of cooking and y'day was the very first time I ever bought/used a "green onion" for ANYTHING so how was I to know it's a freakin' scallion!!?? I know what a scallion is but did NOT know it was also called a green onion! :rolleyes: TG for the kid working in the produce dept at Stop n Shop yday! LOL :p
 
Good Morning,

Not sure why, but I'm really tired this morning. I slept great last night.

Anyway I have an early meeting so will have to do a shorter w/o. 4DS KB should fit the bill, and help with the leg DOMs from LBB. I used a 65# bb and my legs are feeling it today for sure.

Laura-wow, 7 miles is awesome! Our temps have been pretty great, just very windy. This week temps are in the high 50's, low 60's and sunny. It's way to early be planting flowers here, not until after Mother's day at the earliest. I expect we will have more snow.

Wendy-Nice! Meso 2 is awesome. I always managed w/o the tower, but really know the value having done STS without it. It was a great purchase.

Diana:: Nice work using a 65# BB for legs! I have been using 25# DB's for squats so I'm getting closer! ;) I am finding that even tho M2 work outs are longer then M1's that they are not taking anymore time to finish because the 1 minute rests allow me the time I need to do any set up for the next exercise so I am hardly ever needing to pause the player to get ready. I love the more relaxed pace of these work outs as opposed to M1. Legs are still a bit hectic until you get to the end of each tri-set but WOW, what a work out! :D:eek: I am sooooo happy to have tower! I use it every other day it seems! Love love love! :)

You girls just are not gonna stop about the tower till I break down and order the stupid thing are you ????? :mad: :p :p jk ... I KNOW I need to get it ... dang it!!! So class last night was good ... step circuits .. w/plyo and double set weights! NO DOMS :eek: :confused: wow that is weird!

Wendy - WTG on the meso 2 .. yes I know I need the tower .. I WANT the tower .. might as well get the dang tower :confused: :p

DI - 65# for legs .. YOWZA .. you shouldnt be able to move to day!

Today may break record high :confused: to be 85+ degree - YIKES .. gonna do STS at lunch .. tonight is mish mosh class - KB/plyo/cardio!! should be a good one!

My big baby Buster is not feeling good .. :( .. has me worried .. he is laying around - not eating - I am hoping it is just pollen ?? But worries me .. he is getting older!!! :( :( :(

OK .. gotta jet .. it is crazy in here .. have a great one!;)

Hey Ladies,

So 4DS KB with weighted gloves was my w/o this morning! What a great way to start the day.

Laura-Does your DH lift weights? If you have a weight bench that would be even better. Although I'm the only girl in my house, I'm the one that uses all the weights. Definitely need to get the tower. I can't believe how versatile it is. Oh, and it's on sale right now tooooooooo!!!!!! Oh, we did pilates stuff in bootcamp last night, after 30 minutes of cardio. It was a nice change of pace for sure. I enjoyed it because its not something I would do on my own. Others were disappointed with the class since it wasn't as hard core as usual. It doesn't mean it wasn't effective. I notice as I get older, I'm more open to alternate forms of exercise.

Wendy-I'm guessing Meso 2 will be your favorite too. Don't discount Meso 3 though, its a goodie for sure! You won't believe how heavy you can lift when you get to Meso 3.

Diana...It's funny b/c as you know Meso 3 struck total fear in my heart but now that I am starting Meso 2 and loving it, the thought of Meso 3 is becoming more appealing. I always insisted I wanted to do Plyo legs when I got to M3 (IF I got to it) but now I am wondering if I should try the squat rack routine instead? Things that make ya go hmmmm! :p Remember, as Cathe always says! Change is good!!! Which is probably exactly why your instructor threw in the pilates based exercises. Glad you enjoyed it. :) 4DS KB is one of my faves!
 
Unscheduled rest day for me today...

Overslept + feeling like I am coming down with something + having to break down tower in order to do a very short work out = eff it. :p
 
Morning Ladies,

I'm running a little behind this morning, but am not worried since I'm working from home today. It is also DS1's 23rd birthday. We are taking him out to his favorite restaurant tonight.

Today should be a weight day, but since I'm home I can get in weights and cardio. This morning will be Intensity, at lunch time I will do an UB w/o....maybe even one from meso 2!

Wendy-hope you feel better. Meso 3 has the squat rack legs, but Cathe and the girls just use her weight vest and a barbell. It's definitely doable and as always, you can use whatever weight works for you. Plyo legs are really good too. You have a weight exercise followed by a non weight/cardio exercise.

LauraT-How is Buster doing? Hope it is nothing serious.

Lori-where are you girl? You must be off this week since you check in more frequently when you are working.:p

I am jealous of your work out plans for today Diana! My brain was still telling me I should work out this morning even though everything else was working against me! Hope DS1 has a good B'day dinner tonight. What restaraunt is it that you will be taking him to?


So hey ladies! Am I the only one here who is actually doing a solid STS rotation right now? I had so many takers when I first decided to do this and now y'all seem to have backed out out on me! :rolleyes: LOL :p:D
 
CRAPPY WED

man what a freaking day .. :mad:.. BADDD morning .. PMS monster on me .. and I am ILL as H## ... did mish mosh class of plyo, KB, plank work, pushups, high rep UB, low end holds LB .. it was as sweat fest!!!! DOMS: hammies and shoulders

Wendy - I am doing STS UB here and there as I can .. disc in order .. but only getting like 2 a week in .. sooooo not really a SOLID rotation of STS .. but can tell a difference in UB even w/the sporadic workouts

DI - Buster seems a bit better .. he still worries me - he has got to loose some weight - he did eat some last night and this morning so that made me feel better - man I cant stand seeing my babydog not feeling good .. and it worries me so bad b/c he is older!! This POLLEN is not helping .. me too .. my ears are ringing .. and my left one is draining and hurting a bit :mad:

I am going to try to keep to myself today - avoiding human contact is preferable!!!! :( Think I am gonna try heavy legs in the gym at lunch .. CABS are prbly in order for tonight though :confused:
 
LauraT...Ok, I feel a bit less STS-lonely now! :p Hope your pup feels better soon! I hear you on the PMS monster....I have been eating non stop for 3 days now! I am due to get it tmrw and it better come cause I can't go on eating like this! :eek:
 
Good Morning:)

Here I am! I am alive!;)

I have been kept going no doubt about that....but that's my life. Workouts are still in order of course. I have done the GS UB series plus some this week, runs, LB.....abs....you get the pic:p Yesterday I wasn't into the run at all. My legs felt like they weighed a ton. I managed to do 20 mins, then 15 on the bike and then 4DSBC. I am not sure what I will do today. Probably a run, abs and some UB again. Our trip is 3 weeks from today.

I went to Sears and picked up some suits I had ordered and surprisingly they were nice. I went to the bank before hand to take some money out to pay for them and I was thinking "this money will probably be going right back in shortly". Out of the 3 suits, only one of them I didn't like. I also have the top for one and the bottom is on back order but should soon be here. If those 3 are o.k, then I should be fine. I still have other suits as well. And I have one coming from VS but it might be a little to skimpy. There are a couple of dresses I wouldn't mind ordering from sears as well. We don't have a store here...we have to order from the catolouge. But in saying that, DH and I may be going into the city this weekend for a night so I can look around in there.

I am up early for a workout session and there is no sign of her:mad: She usually text me when she is leaving but she is already 26 mins late AND she isn't responding to my text:mad: I could have been having a snooze! I could pour myself another cup of coffee and do something reading. I have all day to workout.

Wendy** How are you feeling this morning? My cold didn't really last that long. It took about 5 days for it to finally show its ugly head and the first day was the worst. My nose wouldn't stop running. I still have to blow it often but I can breath again. Hmmmm.....I thought I was the bad one for trying to help boost lululemon's profits...and here you are selling the Tower to laura;) I don't even know how much that thing cost. AND I can only imagine how much the shipping would be for here!

Diana** Have you had a weigh in recently? My client who is on WW's said last week, "Im so over the scale. I just feel good and I know my body is changing". That was on Sat, she weighed that Wed night,didn't lose much and text me and wants to know how she can lose 4 lbs in one week. My response was "thought you were over the scale"? Ugh! I told her the only thing she could try was going back to the old ww's program for a week. Of course I wouldn't recommend it but she was determined to lose 4 lbs before her trip:mad: I am surprised she hasn't lost more b/c she is 178 lbs or so. She's only lost 13 lbs since Jan. But when you look at her, it looks like she as lost more then that. Jayna turned 15 on Tues! I don't know where the time is going! It means we are getting older!!!

Laura** Have you ordered anymore lulu?;) I was busted the other night! We are switching banks and DH wanted to pay off the cc. He also wanted to know why it was so high...my response was "must be interest":D Then I left my stupid email open with my AE shipping notice, then my VS notice, then my lulu notice....he then knew it wasn't interest! I try to avoid people when Im in a terrible mood as well. Its best to stay away and then you don't have to apologize later! LOL

LauraR** How is the running going????
