Damage Control w/ Insanity...Saturday!!

Good Morning!

I forgot to set my alarm last night:eek: But no worries...DH has his set for 7 o'clock...like he always does and he never actually gets up. The stupid thing just goes off and wakes everyone else up:confused: I guess it came in handy today. Im 30 mins behind schedule but I think I will be o.k.

Yesterdays workout was DM and TM. I ran for 4.5 miles and did 5 seg of DM. Its been so long since I done DM that I thought there were only 5 seg! LOL Then she said we had one more to do but I didn't have time for that. I think I am just gonna run and do abs today. I don't have a whole lot of time on my hands and I am trying to chug my coffee while writing this. To be honest, I could have stayed in bed. Its been raining here for the past 24 hours...and I mean RAINING...and there is nothing better then rain+bed.:)

Wendy** I will have to check your FB! Nothing I love more then a bit of juicy drama:eek: JK! Man, you are punching some hours in. Are you going to stick with the job now that you are getting more comfortable with it?

Jacque** I ordered a few things yesterday...to be exact $446 worth of new stuff! LOL I ordered a cute pair of shoes, boots, 2 tops, a sweater, toy and sweaters for DS...Im not sure if I ordered dress pants or not. I guess I will have to wait and see when it comes. Are you going to be close to the grandkids for christmas???

Alright, I should get this workout started!

Good Morning!

Well it's about time somebody showed up, Lori! :p Actually, Jacque saved me last night. She showed up and post last so that I didn't look like a TOTAL lonely loser y'day! ;)

Lori:: Why set an alarm every day if you never get up when it goes off??? My husband hits snooze for about an hour every morning. Soooooooooo annoying! :eek: Yeah, I am sticking with the job. It will go full time at some point after the first of the year. I figured I would take the hours this weekend since the office was closed Thur/Fri. It will make up for that lost pay! With Christmas and our annual New Year's AC trip on the way, we need all the cash we can get! ;) So have you checked out FB yet!?

Jacque:: My boss is a DEFINITE pack rat! OMG! The office is a fire hazard with all of the paper laying around that's NOT in filing cabinets! :eek: What color hilites do you get? I am going to talk to my hairdresser about making an appt for hi/low lites next. I've been talking about doing it for a year now (if not more!) and never do it. I need to make the appt while I am there or I will NEVER do it. :rolleyes:

Today's work out is X Legs and Back. By tonight I will not be able to walk because I will be doing tons of sitting today between the hair dresser and going into work at the office again. I am going to stiffen up and VBF is gonna have to rent a wheel chair to get me to my car tonight! :p

Okay, that's all for now. I need more coffee! :D
 
Another slow day I see, huh ladies?

Well Legs and Back is done. My legs are fine...so far....but my forearms are hurtin' and I think I pulled a muscle in my back from workin' too hard! BOOH! Hopefully I am not hurtin' really bad from it tmrw! :eek:

Off to the showers...gotta head out for my hair appt in about 30 mins. Need to grab a cup o' java on the way! :D

I'll try to pop in between the hair dresser and heading out to work!

Hi Ladies!

Maybe I will be like Wendy yesterday...and talk to myself today:p Poor girl!

My workout today was interesting and there is no doubt you guys will think I am off my rocker but I did MIS abs first so I could wake up. Then I did cardio power and resistance ( is that what its called?) then I hoped on the TM for a 3.5 mile run. I would have LOVED to have done GS bics and shou's but there was not enough time.

Wendy** Was Thanksgiving not a paid holiday? Or do you guys get paid holidays in the US? I think we get 6 a year I think. Do you get perms very often? I could never understand why people wanted to have curly hair. I soooo hated my hair growing up and I use to have a few freakles on my nose and I hated those has well. I probably didn't like myself growing up come to think of it! LOL I hate it when my forearms hurt, feels like my arms are tired all over.

Jacque** I forgot to tell you that we should know more about the job situation this week coming.The new owners are arriving sometime this week for a meeting. Unless they change their plans, thats when we should know more.

Wendy** I think I found what you are talking about. Im not sure though cause you update your status alot so I had to read through them all! LOL Sometimes people should just say nothing. I live in a small town and alot of people make good money here. Normally when my friends from here update their status it has something to do with buying something, building shopping or just bragging in general. Kinda drives me nuts a little!

Good Morning Ladies,

Well I did not go Black Friday shopping like I had anticipated. I was actually a little depressed about it but got over it pretty quickly. There really isn't any big ticket items for the kids's this year. I did pre-order a nook for Jerod. He asked for a kindle last year and we didn't get it for him, so this year he compared the kindle and the nook and asked for the nook. I think we may also be getting him a laptop. I will be searching for some deals on that.

I worked out too yesterday!!! I didn't really know what I wanted to do so I ended up doing 30 min of Circuit Max, abs from bbc chest and bbc arms, and then through in some BBC cardio. The workout was an hour and burned 598 cals! Oh, and I hate to disappoint you ladies, but the bbc cardio was still hard!

DH and I and 3 other people went out for dinner and drinks yesterday. I'm not much of a socializer, but since it was a small group DH thought it would be fun for me. I had a great time!! I'm not an introvert, but don't really like large groups...and I'm not much of a drinker either but I did have 4 michelob lights. We had a lot of fun. There was only one other girl their besides me, and she posted to my DH's FB that I did not like her. Not sure why she thinks that, she was very funny. DH said not worry, most girls don't like other girls anyway. He makes me laugh.

Not sure what workout I will be doing today. But I do plan on getting the house picked up and furniture rearranged so we can put up the xmas tree and some decorations today. Christmas is my favorite Holiday. Although we are all short on $$, its good for the kids to see that Christmas is all about being together and spending time with your family.

Lori-Sounds it will be a TM run for if your having a ton of rain. I love online shopping. Hope you get the right stuff delivered with this order. I got a great deal on a VS order, 20% off one item, 15% off total, and free shipping. I put in all the codes thinking they wouldn't let me use them all on one order...but it went through.

Wendy-Ugh...you're going back to office again today??? Hope it's a very product trip for you and you get paid for it. How does it feel to be back in the work force? Nice job getting your w/o in with everything else you have planned. Hope you didn't really pull a muscle, maybe it's just sore from all those pullups. The pic on FB is of us at the restaurant last night. DH agreed with you, males make better friends...women just tear each other apart.

Quickie "hi" to you ladies while I'm in between running around. My hair came out loverly just like last time ! I love it - have it done by a friend who was my next door neighbor when we lived up in San Jose - then we followed her family down here to Gilroy.

Gotta run and grab something for MIL cause DH (no surprise) and I BOTH forgot it was her BDay today! UGH ! :eek:

Hi Girls,

Thought I would check in again. DH is having a little snooze in the chair and DS is watching Diego...soon be bed time:) And I think I am going to have a drink later:):)

We had our H1N1 shot today and my arm is sooo sore already and its only been 4 hrs or so. I can only imagine what it will feel like tomorrow!

Diana** Your DH is sooo right! Women don't like other women! LOL Especially when they are hot. We are all back stabbing "you know whats";) I am in the process of trying to make some new friends. I have lots of people who I talk to and so on but just a handful that I would hang out with, I need more to hang out with. The girl I use to spend most of my time with (the one I didn't spend anytime with in FL) ....we have went our seperate ways, which is fine with me. We still do things together but she doesn't really have time for anyone only the people who live on their st. There are lots of great people in this town so Im gonna make some new BFF's! LOL

Jacque** Glad to hear you like your new do! I need to get something done with mine before christmas!
