Good Morning Girls.

I actually turned off my pc and got up w/the intention of getting ready for a good sweat and as I gazed into the cabinet my work outs are in I decided I wanted another cup of coffee instead! LOL Picked HiiT to do today coz it's short but intense. So here I am with my 2nd cup of java... Fingers crossed that I get to the work out coz I'm in an "I don't wanna" mood right now! :eek:

So I am bringing a change of clothes and flip flops with me to work today. Going to talk to the artist I want to do my next tattoo right from work later. She wasn't in on Sunday when I went there. Need to tell her my idea so she can draw it up for me! Here we go!!!! lol I know the shop I am using has a stellar reputation already but I also got a personal recommendation for this particular artist from an old friend who used for before. Said she does great work at a fair price. YAY!

Good Morning!

It's raining here today:( Atleast DS won't be driving me nuts to go outside all day! I may take his swimming from 2-3, that's the only thing we can do.

I'm not sure what today's workout will be. I am thinking a small run on the TM, with a HIIT workout, abs and one of my new workouts. I think Amy Bento's slow mo workouts have 3 workouts on the dvd, so I will do which ever one is for bics and shoul.

My run was o.k yesterday but pushing and talking, really is tiring!!

Wendy** Have fun getting your tat sorted out! My RP did take her turn yesterday but not for long! LOL I decided that we needed to switch up every 15 mins...of course this was when I was at 14:50 LOL And she took him for 6 mins!! Then when we were about 15 min from home she took him the rest of the way, so she did her share in the end. It will be interesting to see how far I can push him this summer alone...I can go further when I don't have to talk.

Diana** So you had a good workout last night? That's awesome!! Im not sure when I am suppose to get my 1st mammo. I think its close to 40, unless there is history of breast cancer in my family. My mom as 14 brothers and sister, so I have 90 something 1st cousins, and over 100 2nd and 3rd cousins and we have our first case of cancer now. Out of all of those people only 1 person as ever had cancer. My grandparents lived to be 86 and 99! So cancer isn't raging. On DH's side though its not good. His mom has had cancer and she has had 2 bro's die of cancer. Only her and one other brother left.

Laura** Did you get a good sweaty workout in?? Your weekend sounded awesome!!!

Jennifer** Good job getting your workout in yesterday morning!

Jacque** I didn't do any homework yesterday!:confused: Today is more promising though b/c the weather bites and we won't be as on the go today.

So I went to my MIL's party last night and spent over $100 in costume jewelry:( Ugh! They kind of get you b/c if you buy 3 items your most expensive item would have been 1/2 price. I picked out a braclet that I was gonna buy at it was $53 so I bought 2 pair of earrings to get the braclet for 1/2 price. Oh....the moral of my story was that I knew the girl who was selling the jewelry and she told me that she loved my arms:D I don't see her very often and she commented on how beautiful my arms are and that she had arm envy:):eek: It's kind of weird when someone pays a compliment b/c other then "thanks" what do you say? There is always an akward silence after a compliment!

O.k...gotta get DS some breakfast!

Hi ladies,

My legs are sore from bootcamp last night. We did suicides..to 20,30,40, 50 yd line, line jumps, dips, repeat 3 more times and run 200 yards. It was tough....then after all that running we had hills, shuffles, walking lunges....at any rate my legs need a break this morning.

Per the rotation, today is C&T and I'm using GS for that. Since I missed my leg day yesterday, I will try to squeeze that in at the rec ctr at lunch...then I will be back on track.

The sun is finally shining again, we've been in the 50's, cold and rainy since Friday. Today is supposed to be 82.

Wendy-well at least we know your human! Hopefully you banged out a HIIT this morning and can tell us all about it later. Hope the artist draws us something you like.

Lori-hope you like the Slo Mo w/o this morning. I do like this dvd, but it is quite long. Seriously...you got suckered into buying something because someone gave you a compliment...Simply say thanks, no purchase necessary. :D Did you running partner mention how hard it is to push DH??? Much more of a w/o pushing 30#'s.

Jacque-have you figured out how to fit everything in..w/o, work, hh chores etc??? Sounds like a good book you are reading.

PunkyJen-hope you able to get in another w/o today!

Time for drop sets of pushups...yikes..will do my best.

Good morning ladies !

Well last night ended up working late - even the Pres is getting a bit overwhelmed so I don't feel so bad. We started our meeting at 5 PM ! Started my Sculpt about 6:45 and by the end my legs were definitely not gonna do HiiT so skipped it. That will be first on my list tonight. Did hit the spa after dinner so relaxed a bit before I dig into my new projects again today ! UGH ! Co-worker was telling me how she is feeling overwhelmed - I told her to join the crowd but it is all good stuff for the company.

They book is kinda long winded in the who has done it and how, over and over again, but there are some great spots in there that I have totally been applying to myself. Sucker is like 600+ pages but about 150 or so pgs are appendix with interviewing questions and competencies. I will get to posting the work/life balance questions that I think everyone should answer here and there. The morale of this chapter is success at work and happiness throughout your entire life. Make sure you are an "A" player at work and are happy. I love it ! Sure I do as I get project after project piled on - I'll just keep plugging away though as I learn new things. I am very excited. (Guess you can tell cuz I keep talking about it, huh? :eek:)

Wendy - get your bootie in for a checkup young lady ! DO NOT play with those yearly exams ! Great job with the HiiT - hope you have fun with the tat artist today.

Lori - nice run - way to get the ol' RP to push DS for you ! I love jewelry, just don't wear it much. Study hard today since you didn't yesterday . . . :p

Diana - bootcamp sounds very tough ! Hope the legs loosen up a bit - and you are seriously gonna work them out today? You ROCK ! About all I would attempt would be a steady jog.

Laura - Woo Hoo you had a great weekend. Glad to hear you could still fish and were catching some. Can't wait to see the pics ! How did intensity class go last night? Were you a good girl?;)

Hey Punky - still on track with your eating and workouts? Did you guys get to 100'? We had a very comfortable 86 or so. Do you like the shorter summer sessions or is it hard to get the kids to pack so much in to such a short session?

jacque:: I know I know. :eek: I want to find a local doc. Never found one when we bought our house 7 years ago. Now is a great time since I haven't been in a while but I just haven't done it yet. I will though! I promise! :)

diana:: BC class sounds fantastic as usual!

lori:: I am with you...bad at taking compliments but love them at the same time! :) Well I am glad you atleast got SOME help pushing DS during your run! Better then nothing, right?
 
Hey Ladies ..

I am patting myself on my shoudlers .. last night was AWESOME .. :D ... I managed a 60 min class (minus abs) the arm work was doable also ... :D .. but managed all the plyo work fine .. I was DRENCHED in sweat .. wooohoooo:D :D :D I did lay on floor at end and try to do chest flyes .. that was NOT doable .. laying down hurts .. and extending my arm side hurts .. didnt realize how much core was involved in that .. but all else I am a happy camper!!!! :eek: :D

Wendy .. girl get to your obgyn .. the mamgrm is not bad .. the digital kind is gentle .. cant even feel it .. I have had them every since I was 35 .. found a lump in left breast ..but it is cyst .. but they do it every year since breast cancer is in my family!

Lori ... I just bought some jewelry too .. several of my friends have had jewelry party it was PRemier Jewelry ... some nice stuff ... the person giving the party racks up though .. one host got $300 in free jewelry .. LOL!! and hey .. take the compliment.. you work hard for your body .. and you deserve some compliments... and your arms are awesome .. and the bracelets will show them off!! ;)

DI .. OH my... bootcamp sounds like some real torture yesterday .. wow .. cant believe your temp are in the 50's .. it was 103 when I went I went to the gym yesterday .. :confused: GEEESH it was bad!! the room wasnt that cool either!!!

Jacque .. sounds like your work is CRAZY insane ...and yes .. it felt excellent to be able to teach more at my level .. but i was good .. KINDA ;) ...

SIL is teaching for me tonight .. she was on vacation last week .. a MUCH needed vacation .. had an excellent relaxing time .. said I killed her last night .. DOMing bd today ..but she is gonna teach it .. i have a hair apnt I have GOT to go to .. I have re-scheduled it several times and my hair is soooo long it wont do anything .. and the sun has done a number on it as well .. tmrw we hit the walking campaigning trail again .. then I will teach a super step class THURS .. maybe by next week I can attempt some abs .. maybe!!! ;) OK . have a wonderful day .. gotta jet .. exercise for me some!!:D
 
Hey Girls,

Hate checking in from this computer. DS took the space bar off and now it keeps getting stuck!

My workout today was 3.5 miles on the TM, 40/20 and slo mo back and shoul. Pretty good workout, but Diana is right...it is long!

We also went swimming this afternoon, then my MIL wanted her hair cut and then my FIL took the whole family out for supper b/c it was the 6th anniversary of when my MIL had her surgery for breast cancer.

Wendy** Nice workout this a.m. Compliments are weird...I think everyone likes hearing them but always feel strange when we get them. Not only that, it usually causes other people to look!

Diana** Your right...slo mo is loooong. I like her though. She wasn't annoying. I did a little bit of the squeeze workout I bought as well and she is a tiny bit annoying. She counts...every...single...rep! Press 1, press 2,press 3...and between every number she exhales like its her last breath or like she's bench pressing 300 lbs pounds!:confused: I have to admit though..neither one of them have physique like Cathe!

Jacque** I need to do some reading NOW!!! Even if I could get an hour in, I would be happy! I haven't read since Sunday but I may have needed a little break cause I did jam a bit in in those few days.

Laura** I cut my hair myself the other day and its not straight! LOL Its a good thing its curly! I put my hair in a braid, noticed how dry it was so I just cut it off! haha! My MIL is receiving $500 in free jewelry! I think its mostly b/c my SIL booked a party from her show. My SIL and I are getting to pick out something to though;) She's good like that!

O.k...I will bb in the a.m. Hoping to get a good run in and some abs before work!

OMG Lori, I would KILL for a physique like Tracy from Squeeze! WOW! I'll never get it but I love it! Cathe looks awesome too and would also kill to look like her but they are 2 totally different looks. Both are awesome in their own right! :) So which Squeeze w/o did you get anyway? I have the Lower Body Challenge one. Always been curious about the full body b/c I want to see how her work out for the U/B stacks up.

Laura:: Glad you had a great class and SIL had a great well deserved vacation. I will get to the doc soon. Just need to find one! Funny thing is I have absolutely no fear about going...I'm just lazy about it! Maybe that's even worse!:eek:

Hi ladies,

I am being slammed at work...I do not like being this overwhelmed!:mad: Like Jacque, I'm determined to succeed in this new role, but adjusting to the workload is difficult. However, once I have this other team following the same processes we do for my team the workload should settle down.

This morning I did GS C&T and at lunch I did heavy leg training at the rec ctr. It's nice using the leg press, hamstring curl machines...a nice change of pace...and to use those heavy weights!!:p

Tomorrow morning I plan on running and then possibly shopping at lunch. Never did get around to using my 30% kohls coupon and it expires tomorrow.

Jacque-I'm feeling overwhelmed right along with you! The book you are reading sounds good...I'm looking forward to your tips. I want to bring my A game to all aspects of my life!

Laura-so glad you are healing enough to get in a great w/o. Obviously you are still healing so don't push it too much lady! Well we will be in the 90's the rest of the week. Some cold front came through last weekend but it's long gone now. When is the vote for DB?

Lori-I do like Amy Bento, but slo mo is a very long w/o. It's just nice to change things up now and then. You had another busy day...you are busier on your days off than on your work days. Wish I could manage my time as well as you do!

Back to laundry duty!
 
Evening ladies !

Well I just had to had to had to get a workout in tonight, especially since I grumped at DH when I got home. Down time necessary for this UGLY day for sure. Not only am I overwhelmed (twins there Diana . . . :p) but then I have all new software: Gmail, Office and Visio and don't know how to use any of it - I don't mind learning, but now is not the best time. Every single thing I do takes 10X as long right now. Our set ups are not working correctly yet and blah blah blah . . .

30/30 DONE and tomorrow is another day ! Plus I am typing funkily since I had to take out 1 contact cuz I got something in my eye. Will the ever end?
Yep and I sure will be a happy camper when that day comes ! :eek:

Laura - nice job last night - did ya make it to get the new "do" ?

Lori - nice workout there girlie ! I just don't have that much energy in me lately and too many things to do. Will attempt at least 30 - 45 min and see if I can get back on track. Studying . . . did you get to it? I got homework so I think you should have too ! ! ! :rolleyes:

Wendy - well I need to make an appt too - flip ya for who goes first ? "cept I do go every year, just haven't had my yearly mamo lately. Not looking forward to spending the $ but guess I'll have to. I need to wait until after July when my new FSA kicks in.

Diana - so at least we are alone in the drowning here ! :confused: Pres sets deadline for me of next week at our meeting last night and then comes up to see if I have typed up his notes? Huh? Thought I had a week? :eek: I'm sure the look on my face was great . . . :eek: If he only knew how many plates I am trying to fill - his is not the only one but I am not sure how to read him yet and of course, he's the most important. All in time like you said . . . Nice you can use the machines for leg work. One of these days I'll try some extensions and curls on my weight bench. Just not sure how much pressure my knees will take. Hopefully they are strong enough.

Well girlss - off to read a tutorial and then eat dinner. Think I'll skip my morning hello for an early start to either work or some sort of "homework".
