Good Morning!

I am soooo tired! And I don't know why!? Maybe my run is finally catching up to me! LOL DS woke up and I couldn't even get out of bed. DH always assumes that I am going to get up so he just lays there. Not today though....I couldn't move! I only got a extra 45 mins then him and I don't feel any better then I did at 7:30. Oh well...I am sure this coffee will help.

I am going to read yesterdays thread, then I will return!

Wendy** I am interested in seeing what these new workouts are going to be like and if I will actually use and enjoy them. I stayed away from the Mindy Mylera ones (or what ever her name is) she is just to energetic and drives me nuts! Good workout but I can't handle to much energy! It doesn't do anything for me! LOL Like I said, I will wait to see what you think of the bob harper ones. I really wanted to buy them but DH and I decided to try a budget. I sat down the other night and went through our expensives and we waste alot of money. We had $327 in gas, $750 in groc, $200 in takeout, $4100 in normal bills, $450 in clothes,$200 in insurances and $900 in misc stuff coming out!! I nearly died!! I didn'r realize we wasted so much money. So we are writing it down everytime we use to bank card and we are have an allowance! LOL I will have to save up my money before I can buy the dvds! haha!!

Diana** Yeah, I guess summer is a good time to lose weight. Not everyone drinks an eats like the crowd I hang out with....drink would be the magic word there b/c they like to drink. My coworker keeps tricking me into working nights when there is a party on the go. I don't care about missing the party at all....I just don't llike the way she goes about it. To tell you the truth, the less time i have to spend with that crowd the better!

Laura** You are one funny gal! Glad to hear you got some nice DOMS. Usually one good workout makes us feel like we are back on track! Hope you have a good weekend. That oil spill is crazy! I hate to think what it is doing to the enviroment and the animals!!! So sad!

Jacque** Work is o.k. I thought I was going to have it out with my manager the last 2 days. He doesn't have enough staff for the work we have. He hired 2 guys but one isn't fully trained and the other one doesn't start yet. I had one refueler yesterday and 3 airplanes!! 2 of them literally came out of nowhere. Normally I can hear them coming from miles away on the radio but 2 of them snuck up on me. I was ready for him though. I think he knows better then to cross me but yet, I don't think he thinks I will bite back. I would have lost it yesterday if he said anything to me.


Tonight we have a relay for life event. Its a all night thing for cancer research. It starts at 7 and ends at 7! My mom was suppose to come in and take care of DS so we could both go but she forgot to get the night off of work:confused: So now I will probably take DS for a while, put him to bed, DD can watch him and I will come home around 2ish or so and DH can stick out the alnight thing. Its been a while since I have been up alnight. If we go back to shift work at work, it will probably be busy enough that I have to stay up alnight! Not looking forward to it.

I also need to get some studying done! I need to stop talking about it and just do it. I haven't done much since I got back. I need to finish this section up so I can move on to the things I will enjoy reading about!

I may do a small workout today!! I may bbl! I ALSO want to find a rotation to do. I suppose I could do the STS rotation again but I would really like to do more then one UB workout a week! I have the weekend to figure something out.

Hi Ladies,

I plan on running this morning, another 5 miles I hope. My legs are pretty sore but running or KB usually helps with that.

I'm still considering working from home today, but 2 of teammates are also working from home, my boss is on vacation so that would leave my one teammate there alone. Not sure my boss would appreciate that.

My 20yr anniv at my company is next week. We have quarterly anniversary parties and this quarters will be on the 18th. I don't usually go to these parties, but I received an invite from our VP so I best be there.

Lori-nice that dh let you sleep in for once! For upper body, Cathe has lot's of premixes. I like the BodyMax original upper body work, the 4ds upper body split, LIC has a good upper body premix also, push/pull upper etc. I do like the Amy Bento wt w/o's but can't really comment on anyone else. A budget is a good idea, we are trying to work on that too. DH eats out a lot and pays for more than himself, makes me crazy.

Hi Wendy, Jacque and Laura. Time for me to head out before it gets too hot, 88 for today-yikes.

Hey Girls.

Never got here from home but I'm here now from work for my work out report and then I'll be back later with personals!

So I did Muscle Max Push Pull Upper Body Premix
5 solid minutes of my own cardio drills w/very little to no rest in between...hardest 5 minutes of cardio ever! :eek:
100 oblique crunches per side

That's it. Short on time today. 5 mins of cardio was just to get the blood pumping and heart working cause I felt the need no matter how short on time I was. I know it didn't do much of anything else for me. lol

Good morning ladies !

Well no headache and reading all your workouts got me motivated to get in a 25 min run this AM - 2.5 miles. 2 min w/u, 20 min run (with sprints) and 3 min c/d. Dripping after 15 min still . . . now I know why I don't w/o in the AM ! Can't wait to see my frizz head when I get outta the shower. :eek:

Lori - sorry you are tired but am sure that even though you are a tough cookie, a 26 miles and all the adrenaline must take a toll on you. Take it easy if you do a workout and listen to your tired self ! ;) Yep, we are budgeting, just not spending like normal. We are typically the same as you describe and it has been so long since we had to watch what we spend. Going well so far as long as DH is on unemployment. If that stops . . . well then we will be hurting big time. *crosses fingers as tightly as possible*.

Diana - bummer you may not be able to stay home today, but with 88' perhaps A/C may be better. That's one thing I like about work ! :p We'll be just a couple ' cooler than you so I get where you are coming from. I like the warm weather but am not adapted to it yet. Enjoy your run today !

Wendy - Is that MM a premix w/o called push pull? Kinda confused me with Push/Pull w/o . . . :confused: ITA 5 min of hard cardio gets me sweating for quite a while. Still dripping from my run. Guess a COLD shower will be in order ! :eek:

Hi ladies,

Back to report my 5 mile run is complete. It was a struggle after the 3 mile mare (seems strange to say that), but got my second wind for the final mile. I ran the same route as the other day, just in reverse. I also ran 25 secs/mile faster today. Probably because there are more downhills going the way I did today. I'm trying not to let the slow time bother me too much....at least I'm doing it.

Jacque-Yep, I pretty much have to wash my hair after I workout in morning cuz I sweat so much. I've just been leaving it curly and pulling it back in a clippy comb. Thankfully I'm getting it cut tomorrow....hasn't been cut since before the SD trip. Nice job on your run...it feels good to get out there doesn't it!:D

Wendy-I've had to do short cardio's too....it's nice to get the blood pumping to start the day.

It's already 8:30....going to be late but will be heading in to work.
