***DAMAGE CONTROL SUPER SATURDAY***

Morning! Where is everyone??? Usually Wendy and Lori are fighting over starting the thread.

Jerod has a football this morning at 9, but he has to be there at 8. It's at a park that has running trails so I may just run for an hour. This afternoon is GS BSB. This is the last day of my current rotation. Fortunately, Insanity will be here Monday!

I have a lot of housecleaning and purging to do this weekend so DS3 can move into DS2's old bedroom. I'm kinda glad the house is getting cleaned out. Next on the agenda will be making the DS3's old room an office/craft room. I don't think that will be happening this weekend, but maybe next.

Jen-I saw you took the Insanity plunge with the rest of us. Well I haven't lost any weight with GWF but it certainly makes me realize how much we really need to move. Especially for me since I have a desk job. It's very easy to become sedentary.

Hope everyone is having a great start to their weekend.

Good Morning Diana, and all our other Damage Controllers!

The weather is miserable here today. It's raining, raining, raining, and I don't think it's supposed to stop until tomorrow. It really makes me want to be out on a yacht for dinner

Diana: I was really on the fence regarding Insanity, but now that I've bought it I can't wait for it to get here! I'll be joining you in the housework/purging today. My closet needs to be done, and I'm finally going to tackle my filthy bathroom. That's taking priority today, and if I have time I'll try and fit in a workout, but I'm not going to freak if I don't. The housework really needs to get done.

Better get started then...will BBL~

Morning Girls.

I am up waaaay early considering I didn't get to sleep until about 4am. UGH. I'll be napping HARD later. Last night was fun. We ended up sitting at the bar, drinking n yapping all night. We split a sandwich there cause we had a serious case of the munchies after a while. Here's the best part....*drum roll please*....I stepped on the scale this morning and I did NOT gain an ounce! :D I think I'm on to something here! ;) LOLOL

Jen:: You talked about doing Push yesterday and now you've got Insanity on the way! What made you cave? :D Good for you going for the full rotation. I started doing it as a "test" to see how I would handle it until I was ready to finish off the SS rotation or begin the X but decided to just keep on rollin' because so far so good. I am handling it well with no ill effects in any way. Seems to be all positive so far. :) So how will, or will you incorporate running into your Insanity rotation? That short, slow run I did after week 1 was plenty for me so I'm not gonna push it. As long as I'm getting in some kind of run every week I am happy. There is a C-R-A-Z-Y Catheite running after the Insanity work outs 3x per week. God bless her for bein' about to do that. I couldn't. I'd pass out. LOL When you say you are going to do the diet does that mean you are going to follow the plan that comes with the program or that you are going to tighten up your diet on your own? I am terrible at committing to someone else's food plan.

Lori:: Yeah, would be kind chilly if we walked around in a bikini all winter, ey? LOL :p Congrats on the Insanity purchase. Looks like everyone is going for it. Jacque will be the last to "cave" I suppose. LOL I enjoy FB so I'm not goin' anywhere. I haven't had any problems.

Diana:: I would go back into banking in a heart beat. Not because I love it so much but because it's what I know at this point. Problem is, I was in collections and no one is hiring. I applied for a job at a bank to be a mortgage loan officer's assistant or something but it's been weeks and never heard booh back from them. *shrugs* I can't really apply for a teller position b/c the hours could pose a problem. I'd have had a job working retail some where for months now if not for the hours that are normally required.

Jacque:: Apparently I didn't jinx myself yet as the scale was nice to me again this morning! ;) So it's just a matter of time before you cave huh? Would be nice if we could all do a rotation of it together! :)

Laura:: Hope the laundry pile is shrinking for you...I need to do that today myself. I didn't do enough of it y'day.

Okay, I think that about catches me up here. On that note I think I will be heading back to bed for a little snoozy. 4 hours of restless sleep doesn't cut it for me ESPECIALLY considering I have a DOUBLE WORK OUT on tap for today!!!!!

The bathroom is finally clean, woo hoo! One task down, a gazillion to go.

Wendy: I'm going to follow the diet that comes with the program...the best I can for as long as I can ;) I'm one who does better if I don't have to put too much thought into it. If they give me the plan, I can put it to work. Two things made me cave: One, all the chatter about results definitely help sell me on it, and two, a conversation yesterday with a gf who's got the same workout "ethic" I do who is really enjoying it and also seeing results. She said it has taken things up a notch for her and is probably the kick in the butt she needed to shake things up. I finally thought WTH...go for it. Good question re: the running. That's something I've been wondering myself. I think what I'll probably do is commit to getting in one long run a week. If I can do more, great, but one will be enough to keep me happy and mentally in it. I've noticed that for me running is more of a mental hurdle than a physical one, so as long as I can show myself once a week what I can do I'll be okay with that. Plus, it's only 60 days. That goes by pretty quickly. I'm getting really excited about it now!

Four in the morning, girl??? Oh boy, you'll definitely be looking for a nap later on, you party animal ;):D

Hi Gals!

Lets see how fast I can write this. I am at work and have a feeling I have some work to do in the near future. This is not my shift but the girl who was suppose to work it had a wedding to go to...I offered to go ON CALL and here I am....oh well...Im starting next monthes pay check off in the right direction.:D

Last night we went to my inlaws for dinner and then had a few drinks after. I only had 2 though b/c I wanted to go for along run today which didn't happen b/c its still pretty windy out there. Now I have my run postponed for tomorrow. Im not sure how long I will run for but I would like to aim above 20 kms. We will see. So today ended up being a CC workout which of course...always works me good! I did CC #7, didn't finish it all b/c I had to come to work but I still did 6 miles.

I received my email yesterday re:Insanity being shipped and I should receieve it by Sept 4th. I guess i will have the weekend to play with it then:)

Wendy** Sounds like you had another great night out! Trying to get around with only 4 hrs sleep is never good, been there, done that....hate it!

Jen** Its nice here today but suppose to rain tomorrow. Perhaps you will get our sunshine!

Diana** Having your house gutted out is always nice! It doesn't take long for it to get filled back up again with crap though, does it?

I would like to read yesterdays thread but don't have time right now....hopefully later!

Lori:)

Morning ladies !

Y'day turned out to be dog related from noon until 7:30. Headed up to DD's office where she's a vet tech and the Dr. took time to check her and take some samples to send to cytology for a possible tumor. Stayed a little longer since DD was off and we chatted until it was time to head home for dinner. No workout done . . .

This AM it seems the "lump" is draining so hopefully is really just an abcess and nothing worse. Keep fingers crossed for me please as I'm not sure I'd put my 13 yr old dog under for major surgery or chemo if it was the "C" word. She seems quite happy and normal so whatever it is is not bother her, thankfully.

Well I am a sweaty mess but only because it is hot here ! Will probably get a workout in, may switch the rotation order so I'm not lifting Sun & Mon. We'll see how many chores I get done as I need to do a few also.

Now for my rant:
NO FAIR, NO FAIR, NO FAIR what you ladies are tempting me with here as I am the last of the DC'ers to get Insanity ! ! !:mad: :p

Diana - it does get kinda worrisome when it isn't Lori or Wendy starting the thread, huh? ;) Sounds like they were both occupied at their regular "starting" times. Are you going to take "the plunge" and add some cals to your eating to see if the scale will tip? Hope the household purging goes well for you.

Wendy - Woo Hoo on being a party girl and keeping the weight off you lucky dog. I do remember those days . . . I could drop 5 lbs in a few days just by eating salads and no breads or pastas. Hoping to get my metabolism back to that point - perhaps Insanity will be coming my way sooner rather than later? It seems STS Cardio is a ways out though I was hoping it would be October, they don't seem to be taping yet so it may be the end of the year if that.

So . . . if you order Insanity through a BB coach can you do payments or must you pay the entire thing at once - and what is the shipping rate through a coach if you remember? TIA !

Jen - You little bugger you - now I am the only one without Insanity ! I have been a good girl and holding out but ITA that the results everyone is getting are fantastic and it is time for me to switch it up again. Working my LB nearly daily may be the reason my weight has dropped a bit. I am seeing a leaning out all around too and even though the scale is not dropping extensively, leaning out is working for me. Have you seen/heard what the eating plan is all about? When . . . yes when . . . I order Insanity I'm like you and like to have things planned out for me. That's why rotations work so well. I'd probably do the same as Wendy and some others and add UB 2 - 3 times a week - and like you, would like a long SS run once a week minimum. Hope you get your housecleaning finished up quickly so you can fit a workout in there ! Get ready for your Insanity ! ! ! ;) Enjoy your evening - maybe the sun will shine, or at least stop raining for the cruise tonight.

Lori - sorry you are having to work, but with bad weather, might as well, huh? Those CC's sure are great workouts ! Especially for the hill work and sprints for interval training. You are going to go ahead and play with Insanity when you get it, huh? When in Oct is your race?

Laura - waiting for your first Insanity report here girl . . . You still alive and kickin' ? ? ?

Okie dokie - off to get the last two rooms of carpets cleaned while it's 100' and will dry them quickly.

Hey Girls.

Well I did Plyometric Cardio Circuit followed immediately by 1/2 of P90X Shoulders and Arms and guess what!? I SURVIVED!!! :D:D:D I didn't push the weight load on S&A. I needed to test the waters so to speak. Next time I will go heavier for most exercises though.

DH and I are going to a party tonight. It's starts around 6. I have some things to take care of b4 we leave so I don't have time for personals right now (sorry) but I WILL get back here b4 heading out if I can.

If not, have a great afternoon/evening and I'll be back in the morning!

Ciao Bellas!:)

Hey girls!

Back from my night on the yacht and it was very...pleasant. Nothing much to rave or complain about :) just a very nice evening with friends, a great dinner, a few good drinks, and hopefully a soft pillow soon.

Jacque: Let me tell you what made it so much easier for me to finally pull the plug...the "three easy payments:". I couldn't get myself to spend the whole thing this week, but I could handle it over a few months, ya know? ;) I say just DO IT, you know you're going to!! :D And you might as well be going through the torture along with the rest of us 'cuz misery loves company ;)

K, I should hit the sack so I can get a workout in tomorrow. I have plenty of crap to work off from tonight! See y'all in the a.m. ~
