Good Early Sunday Morning Ladies!

Yep. I guess my body is so used to getting up now that I couldn't sleep. :rolleyes:

Today's work out will be SCULPT and I will add some BFBM again. Tmrw is the last work out of week 2 already! This rotation is going fast. That must mean I like it! :D

So my B'day is coming at the end of April and I got a postcard full of coupons from Cathe.com to use by the end of March. I am still on the fence about STS but want to make up my mind soon so that DH can order early and use a coupon if I want it. I just don't know that I'll ever commit a rotation with it and that's a lot of money! I am seriously considering picking only 1 mesocycle and asking for that instead of the whole thing. Decisions decisions! :p

Okay, I am going to wrap this up just incase Lori is awake ;) and I will BRB for personals. I PROMISE! :p
 
Lori:: A marathon! How exciting! I have given up on that one. I don't even have the urge to run these days. If I am going to get back into it, it'll be once the weather breaks and I can run (comfortablely) outside but even then, I'm not so sure it will happen. *shrugs* Funny about DH taking the money and running. Loser is right! :p:D Glad your DD's room came out nice. Does she like it, I hope??

Diana:: So have you caved on BBL yet? It's totally an endurance work out so be warned only b/c I know you favor strength work outs. You are right about the hairdresser. I don't think my lady works Sundays (maybe that's better-I won't feel so terrible about it!) but I will give a call over there today and see what they say. We don't have any plans except for my DH going someplace quickly at 9am so if they wanted to, I could probably go back to today to get it "fixed". We will see. Congrats to your niece's team! That's awesome!

I think my inner clock is set like Wendy's as well!:mad: We went to a party last night and didn't get home until 2...then DS woke up again when I checked on him. The last time I seen the clock it was 3:07!:mad: And i woke again at 7:45. I do have to work so I need to get up anyway but I was hoping to sleep a little later cause I have to go back to work tonight. Then I lay there and thought about working out and how I could fit it in. Would love to do it later today (after work) but I re-did my hair last night, adding more gel and more hair spray so I can't possibly do my hair for the 3rd time! LOL So I have decided to get on the TM @ 8:45 and off again @ 9:30. Thats all I have time for today and I should be able to get 5 miles in.

Wendy** Did you decide if you were gonna go back to your hair stylist? I think you probably should. If not, it may eat you up! I need to get someone professional to do my hair soon. I just do it myself b/c I can never find the time to go sit down!:rolleyes: When I decide i want it done, I want it done NOW! Doesn't really work that way when you have to make apts!
STS hey??? I think you should get it. You will really enjoy it. It is a very good set.

Diana** Did you take your MIL out for lunch yesterday? I get along great with my MIL as well....how can I not? She kinda gave me some money...which is still in DH"s pocket! LOL I returned a pair of jeans that I bought yesterday and my intentions were to exchange them for something else and on top of it, spend another $200 on myself so that when DH went to give me my share, I could say..."thats o.k...pay it on the cc" hehe! But there wasn't anything there that I wanted. I returned the jeans and bought a sweater and a top so my bill only came to $60 bucks. I may have a look on the internet today.:eek::) I need some tops as well as a couple more pairs of jeans. I wore my new ones last night and they do fit really well....they didn't stretch as much as other jeans.

O.k...Im gonna have to motor if I want to get that workout started in 14 mins!:confused: I have a bit of a headache as well, not b/c I was drinking....lack of sleep I guess.

Lori:: I'm gonna give the salon a call today and explain my situation and see what they say. If they offer to fix it for me and they can take me today then I will head over.


BBL SCULPT and circuits 3 through 6 of BFBM are done! I skipped the ab/core work at the end of SCULPT today. There is so much of it in this rotation, I just don't feel like I need to do it every single time. I made sure I did circuit 4 of BFBM today though. That's core/abs focused so I didn't TOTALLY blow off my mid-section! :p

Okay, I'm a sweaty mess...off to the showers and to grab a snack and then housework time. Yeehaw! :rolleyes:
 
Good Morning Ladies,

It was a great time at my niece's game last night. I took my MIL out to dinner....but she ended up paying!:mad: I told her it was my treat but she wouldn't have it. It was only $20 but I wanted to treat her...she does a lot for everyone else and at 70yrs of age, we should be taking care of her. She's in pretty good health but needs a knee replacement but I doubt she will ever have it done.

The Final Four games will be played on Wednesday night and I think the whole family is going. It should be a great time...and the girls have a good shot at winning. They played this team twice in the regular season, winning on and losing one so they are a good match up.

This afternoon we have a birthday party to go to for one of my niece's. She'll be 14, same age as Jerod. My sister and I were preggo together for our last kid. She already had 2 boys and she got her girl...I had a 3rd boy.

I'm sitting here drinking coffee....with Bailey's mint chocolate chip! DH bought it and it's quite delicious..although not diet friendly. It's really hard to switch back to black coffee after having bailey's!!

Per the rotation, my workout will be back and biceps....and I really need some kind of cardio today too. My legs and backside are a bit sore today from legs yesterday.

Wendy-If you're on the fence about STS, just purchasing 1 mesocycle would probably be good. I'm thinking you would like meso 1, endurance the best. I also recommend the Plyo Leg workouts...they are similar to the leg/cardio of BBC. I'm still holding out on BBL...but we will see. I'm in the same boat as you, I need to sell some of my unused w/o's before I purchase more.

Lori-glad you found some jeans that you like. I hate buying jeans...they never fit right. What brand did you find that works? DD's room is done already, that was fast. How does she like it?

Jacque-Did you see....the AVS beat St. Louis last night 7-3!!!! What have you been up to this weekend?

Good afternoon (nearly noon for me) !

Fri eve ended up going out and seeing a half dozen people with kids ours' ages so caught up alot. No workout. Then y'day ended up with a splitting sinus headache and kept the couch company until this AM. UGH I hate it and really need to go get some migraine meds. Have a bit of a lingering ache today and without eating much y'day I am feeling weak. So still have a few w/o's from last week to catch up. Thinking I may do 2 bp's per day and not as much cardio to finish up Meso 2. AND Fri my BBL was delivered. Just opened it but haven't looked at it yet. May combine it with the w/o's Cathe suggested for the week after next.

Wendy - my hairdresser bleaches my hilites and then puts a darker rinse over them. After a few washes they lighten up. Did yours perhaps do the same? You should be able to have it fixed though . . . the $ you pay for those services are expensive and you should be satisfied in the end. I think you'd enoy STS either Meso 1 or Meso 2 - 3 is very short heavy sets. @ reminds me more of a pyramid "style" though at times there are repeated sets for the same muscle group. Though you'd enjoy Meso 1, I am thinking many of your workouts might be very similar? Guess it depends on whether you want to add to your collection or not. I find 2 really helps add strength for me. It has worked well for me to do 1 bp per day - ITA with Diana about Plyo Legs too. They are great - kinda Insanity like and leave you sore the next day.

Lori - LOL your dad liked the purple ! :p Good to hear it all came out nice and your Mom did some other productive things. I have kept some of our old dressers, refinished them and used them for storage in my w/o room. Saved a couple prior for the kids to take when they moved out. Just something to think about if you have the space. Don't wait too long to start on your training - before you know it your race will be here ! Have fun shopping.

Diana - great news about your niece. Sounds like Wed nite will be fun. Another here who loves her MIL - she is so much like me and my Mom - guess that's why DH loves me? ;) BBL is actually $60 but will spread the payments out for 3 months. I am trying to hold off and finish Meso 2 - we'll see if I can or whether I turn into "Wendy"! :p Woo Hoo for the Avs ! ! ! I didn't even listen to the Sharks game last night. Can't believe we are getting so close to the play offs . . . I'll be missing a game while we are in SD. :confused: Think I'll get over it though ! :p

I gotta go get something done here this weekend. Think it will be in spurts until I can eat enough for some energy to come back. TTFN . . .
