** Damage Control...SUNDAY **

Good Morning!

Well...didn't I feel like a bag of *rap when I woke up:confused: And I don't know why!!!?? We went to the wedding last night and after the meal we called to check on DS, who was sleeping at my inlaws again. My MIL said that after they bathed him, he went outside, wanted to get in the van, got into his car seat and strapped himself in. Then he got back out and tried to start the van......Do ya think he wanted to come home? LOL:eek: So they brought him home and b/c DS hadn't seen him all week, he wanted to come home, put him to bed and then we were going to go back to the wedding. But of course, we both fell asleep while he was lying down with DS. So at 11:30 the 2 of us are sitting on the steps, trying to decide if we want to go back out, or just get into bed. Being the losers that we are...we went to bed!
I was just so tired after having to get up 2 mornings in a row at 5:30 and no workout to get me moving. Its a good thing we went to bed b/c DS decided to start his day at 5:35...it is now 11:00 and he is napping.

Anyway....I just got back from a nice run...with no pain:D I could have went further but I didn't want to push it. I think I did about 13.5 k. Its warm out but the wind was nice so I didn't feel like I was dying.

Jacque** I know...I was sooo excited when Cathe responded to my post. I thought she would....if she was on the forums. I wasn't looking for medical advice, just an opinion. And I wasn't in a very good mood when I seen a poster tell me to get medical advice. When the post is directed towards Cathe....leave it at that...unless, you have a similar experience to share but don't just chime in for the fact of chiming in. I didn't ask for "her" advice:rolleyes: Im sure she was just trying to be nice, but seriously...if the injury was THAT bad, I would have went to the Dr.
Hope you are enjoying your grandkids! I have a feeling I will enjoy DS alot more when he wakes up from his nap. Can you imagine how contray he would have been with no nap!!!

Good morning to whoever is left of us this weekend ! :p

Yesterday I did do UB Supersets and my freestyle lunges (2 sets X 20 each leg) which is front, back, side, front cross & back cross. I use my step top to put less stress on my knees and I can get a better "push off" using my glute more. It's quite a few lunges and I was dripping by the end of the 20 minutes. No additional cardio since I shopped quickly and made a marinade for the scallops I was taking to BBQ. YUMMY ! :D

Today I'll do my lunges, add 200 walking lunges in the backyard and probably do a CC or some steady state on the TM. Perhaps a run outside if I get there.

Lori - So good to hear you ran without your quad bothering you. Make sure to take care of it so it heals. LOL at those that always tell you to see a doctor. ITA most of us will go there if we feel the need, but why cry wolf when it wasn't hurting you constantly? You know you just need to let those posts go and ignore them, right? They will always be out there. Now of course when I suggest something, since I'm your elder, you should heed that advice 'cuz I'm like your Mom, correct ! ;)

I don't think you and DH are losers for going to bed at nearly midnight. Just smart since you have a little one to care for in the AM. Hope DS wakes up cheery and joyful and you enjoy the rest of your day. Wouldn't that be the greatest since you already had a "painfree" run?

Jen - heya girl if you have a chance to check in today. Are you enjoying yourself or are you lonely? :confused:

Off to "run around" the boards a bit. BBL to see if anyone has been here.
