Good Morning!

What a hellava night:mad: My tooth started acting up again! I thought I was going to take a rock and beat it out of my head:confused: I can only imagine what cave men use to do!:rolleyes: (is there such a thing as cave men?) LOL
Anyway....We have a contact for my dentist so we called him and he called out dentist and then my dentist went to the drug store and placed a prescription for me:D Its the same tooth that was causing me grief last month. Im waiting for a referral to get a root canal done but in the meantime there is an infection there that won't clear up until the root canal is done or I have the tooth pulled. I would have had the tooth puuled last night if he had asked me....I was ready to say good bye! Anyway....he did the same thing that he did last month and put me on antibiotics. I am really debating just having the tooth pulled. Its the 2nd one from the back and no one would see that it was gone. Im not one of those people who throws my head back when I laugh and have my mouth open:eek: And if I were to spend that much money on a tooth, I would prefer to get the one on top fixed....its gone:eek: 3rd one from the back and even though when I lost it, you couldn't see it, my teeth have shifted and I can see it...but maybe thats just me being paranoid. So maybe I should get a bridge done ($2500) and just get the bottom one pulled? I DUNNO! But what I do know is that I am not going to FL like this and I can't see getting a root canal and a crown done in the next 4 weeks....just not enough time.

TTIOM still hasn't appeared! You don't suppose the test could have been wrong? My friend said that she took 3 test before she got a positive! But it should have showed a positive when my period is 2 days late? Knowing her she probably bought a test that would show if you were pregnant 4 days before your period were to start!

Yesterdays workout was just disc 6. I have a little DOMS going on in my buns:p I also had some nice DOMs the other day from Disc 5. No run yesterday...going to get a good run in today!

Hi Ladies,

I was pretty much a sloth yesterday. I layed in bed and watched TV most of the day-which is pretty unusual for me. I got caught up on all my recordings. In the afternoon I took my son to get tires on his car and took all of our recycling to the recycle center.

Haven't decided on a cardio workout for this morning but will just pick something when I get down stairs. I have a hair appt at 12:30 today. When I called to make my appt they told me the girl that cuts my hair is only working Sat/Sun/Mon. She did just have a baby in October and her new husband travels a lot for work.

Lori-you definitely need to decide the best course of action for you teeth problems. It's unfortunate that the options are so expensive.

Jacque-Disc 12 was pretty good too. Those sit and slides sneak up on yah later. I'm trying to plan my workouts for the week knowing that Thursday will be a rest day. I simply cannot get to work by 8am if I work out in the morning. I have some shorter w/o's in mind but I at least want to get moving.

Good Morning Girls.

Quick check in for me right now but I'll be back later this afternoon or tonight to catch up on personals. :)

I just finished my work out. I went right into the final week of Burn with out a rest day so I did BC #1 today. I'm spent :eek: but in a good way. :D

Gotta grab a shower and head off to mom's now. Joey slept there last night so that DH and I could go out for our anniversary last night. Our anniv. is really today though-6 years. Yup, we got married on The Ides Of March! :D
We went out to dinner and to a movie. We saw Miss March. Very funny!

Prior to dropping Joey off at my mom's y'day later in the afternoon, I did NOTHING all day but eat and sleep. I was feeling soooo lethargic. I got up at 8am and ate 3x by noon and took 2 naps but 2 pm! :eek: Having to drop DS off forced me to get moving or I may have continued the pattern until bed time. :eek: Anyway, when I got back from dropping him I did Burn It Off and then it was time to get ready to go out.

Well that's all for now but I'll be back chicas! :cool:
 
Hey hey hey girlies !

I'm thinking I'd like to do a CC today - have been enjoying some harder cardios lately. This week is going to be fun as long as I get something prepared to follow. Plans in my head right now are CC today, for the week I'd like to do:
- kickbox
- total body workout (maybe freestyle like with body weight only, UB & LB or maybe I'll try Jillian's 30 day shred, which I think uses only light weights)
- 2 CC's
- IMax either 1 or 2

I'll try to figure out a rotation later on today.

Lori - dang nab that tooth of yours. Tough decision to make, but hopefully your dentist will have some info that will help you make it when you get in. Make sure to take your antibiotics as you are supposed to ! ;) I am wondering if your TTOM issues is just that you are getting to that point age-wise where you are going to start to get into peri-meno? Are you mid 30ish? I was about 33 when I started some really heavy PMSing and missing periods. Perhaps you should start tracking your "issues" and symptoms to see if you can figure out some sort of correlation?

Diana - good for you taking a day for yourself. I've been doing lots of that myself !:p DH had quite an interesting look on his face the other night when I told him I was going to soak in the tub (post workout in the evening) before I got dinner together. :rolleyes: Of course the tub was pretty much off limits until the last kid moved out in Dec since I refused to do much cleaning in there previously ! :eek: Now I can hop in anytime I want and know it is clean - Woo Hoo for my new found "freedom". Though I do miss being an everyday Mom too - such a dilemma we are put in when the empty nest hits.

Great idea to do some shorter workouts - I adore the CTX and 4DS cardios alot for their short but tough aspects. Cathe's Feb 09 rotation has some shorter cardio premixes listed too. There are some great premixes that are shorter in length with the newer DVD's. I always forget about them !

Wendy - Happy Anniversary to you ! We are just a bit ahead of you, will be 9 years in August. Boy has time flown. Good to hear you had a nice evening out last night. While you may have rested alot and ate a bunch yesterday - you still got you workout in so you did good girl ! ^5 to you !

P. S. Lori - did have 2 merlots last night after the game - Sharks won in a shoot out so it was definitely a night to celebrate after all their loses lately !

Hey girls ..

I did legs Meso 2 ysdty .. OMG .. it was an AWESOME workout .. enjoyed the torture .. DOMS in the calves - hammies - and buttocks!!! Today we did chest, shoulders, tris .. OH MY ... another awesome w/o .. the upping of the weight kicked my arse .. and I am sure I will not be able to move tmrw ... I am feeling LOTS better ... was drained after my w/o ystdy .. but today felt strong .. sore but strong!!!

Lori ... my guess is you are working out so hard .. prbly has something to do w/the missed period .. if you have lost weight .. and working hard or extra on the w/o if will affect your cycle ..pretty common thing ... CC3 THREE times:eek: . r you crazy ... no wonder the period stopped .. you prbly sweated it out .. LOL

Jacque .. yayayayyya for th sharks .. looks like you got a good w/o schedule going . . SIL told me I could not do upper body, lower body, or ABS in class tmrw .. LOL .. errrrr .. not sure what that leaves .. LOL she is sorer than me!! LOL

Anyway ... it is dreary rainy here .. and DH is on nights .. so I am going to settle down w/a movie and rest .. STS .. shock system for sure .. my body is wondering WTH is going on .. LOL .. I have got to say STS is my all time favorite workout program over any I have ever done (and that is a lot)... I enjoyed these 2 in Meso 2 more than I did the ones in meso 1 .. even though it kicked my hiney .... ok ... have a great one ladies!:D

Hi ladies,

I ended up doing my own mish mosh of cardio this morning. I started out with Amy Bento's Hi/Lo Extreme but I was struggling through the cardio because I'm not familiar with this workout. After about 30 minutes I did the cardio only portions of HST and HSC and finished that up with medicine ball abs from ab circuits. It was a nice change of pace.

I have some good options for shorter cardio workouts if needed for next week. If all else fails I can hope on the EXT and preview meso 2.

Got my hair cut a tad shorter than usual and it looks really cute. I should be able to replicate the look on my own.

Wendy-Happy Anniversary!!!! Glad you were able to go out and celebrate. Are you getting bored with CLX? I found it was hard to do the same workouts every week for a month. I plan on doing the CLX shorter cardio's this week.

Jacque-I have to keep CTX in mind for this week too. I was leaning towards CLX and 4DS cardio. I plan on making every effort to get in a w/o even if it's only 30 minutes. I'm one of those who thinks if it's not an hour workout it's not worth it. I have a couple 10 min solution dvd's and they probably have some shorter cardio's w/o. I've never done them so I'm not sure. Congratulation on the sharks shoot out win! Gotta love those shootouts!! They really make for an exciting game.

Laura-glad you are finally feeling better. I'm looking forward to meso 2. It sounds more like gym styles and prefer that style of lifting. Do you we need the weight vest for meso 2? I've done one of the plyo leg w/o's and loved it. I might try another of those this week.

Hey Ladies:)

Tooth was torturing me again earlier. I invited my inlaws here for dinner, took a sip of water and I couldn't even talk to anyone:rolleyes: They must have thought I was super contray but I couldn't even open my mouth! My MIL's friend was here and she was asking for some recipes and I could only answer her with one word! I felt awful....but they knew why! Anyway, my MIL's friend was telling me about the tooth she had that was causing her trouble.Situation sounded the same as mine....she ended up getting it pulled in the end.

Before all of this though, I did CC#2 and #3. A total of 7 miles:)

Diana** Its nice to have days where we don't do anything. Of course, they are always nicer when its raining or snowing...I think it just makes us feel like we didn't waste a day!:) I haven't done that in a while though. Our Sundays use to be pretty mellow but not since DS came along.

Laura** I haven't lost any weight and I don't think my workouts have been any crazy since starting STS...who knows...but I think its starting now! LOL I don't think you can sweat a period out...sounds good though:)You should soon be as hard as a rock;) you have been sore alot lately! hehe!

Jacque** I think the tooth is coming out:( I don't like parting with my teeth but I don't want to turn into a drug attack either;) Im only 30. I don't think anyone in my family as started menopause this early. Im sure its something I did wrong this month! LOL I would love to have a subscription but they probably wouldn't send it to Canada. I subscribed to two running mags this yr, its my first subscription. I just need to find the time to read them.

Wendy** Happy Anniversary to you and DH! This yr will be our 8th! I can't believe it. When I look at the pics though I realize how much older we have gotten. So are you enjoying your new workouts?

I will probably be here early in the morning. I have to work and do Disc 7 so I will be up bright and early!
