Damage Control...Sunday but the weekend is not over yet! :)

Diana:: My mom sets up the coffee pot the evening before too. I can't be bothered. LOL I just get up, set 'er up and flip 'er in on in the morning. I'm only making 2 cups though so it doesn't take but 2 minutes to brew. Glad you slept in y'day morning. I slept in bit too this morning thanks to DS. I was able to stay in bed until about 6:30 this morning instead of getting up at or before 6am. *twirls finger* WOO HOO. :p Have fun getting your office set up. I like doing things like that.

Jacque:: Thanks for the great party suggestions to avoid over-eating the crap but it didn't work. :rolleyes: I went NUTS I tell ya! Absolutely NUTS! I lost control of myself...TOTALLY! I drank FOUR smirnoff twists, ate TWO cheeseburgers plus doritos, macaroni salad, pork n beans, a small brownie and a small piece of chocolate cake for dessert! :eek::eek::eek::eek: I'd have rather have eatn the 16 kisses the other day like Jen did! Funny thing is, I was quite full, but I didn't feel TOTALLY gross. I was actually a notch below that somehow...I don't know how though! :confused: Anyway, that being said, and adding in the medicine factor, I am NOT NOT NOT getting on the scale this morning AND I will be doing cardio today to try and help burn some of the crap off before it makes itself at home in my gut! :eek:
So when did your mom pass away if I may ask? My mom was around 36 when she lost her mom and her mom (my grandma whom I adored!!!) was only 66. She died after a nasty 2 year battle with cancer. So very sad. I miss her so much as does my mom. :( As you mentioned though, there are great memories which we both cherish. Unfortunately I was only 10 yrs old when she died so my memories are not as vivid as I would have liked.
Okay, sorry for going off on that depressing tangent!!! I'm done now! :p

Lori:: Welcome back, stranger! :p Somehow no matter what stage of life my little guy has been in, I have ALWAYS found time for the Cathe boards. ;) :D Yes, I saw great strength benefits from CLX as well as increased definition and I was STARTING to see weight loss as well but then I got sick and now that's all messed up! :mad: I love CLX and after being spoiled by the short but super intense and effective work outs I am now unsure that I even want STS anymore. OH MY GOD! Did I just say that!?!?! :eek::eek::eek: LOL Seriously though...I adore Cathe and her work outs are excellent but I am just thinking back to P90X. I got awesome results with it but have never been able to get through a 2nd complete round because the work outs are just so long and exhausting. I also have P90X+ which I haven't committed to finishing even ONCE yet and those work outs are shorter! I think that needs to be my next long term rotation committment goal. So anyway, I preordered the shock cardio which sounds fab but I am seriously giving second thoughts to the weight program. Lotsa money for something I'm thinking I won't be able to see through. If you didn't know, I cancelled my STS pre-order in favor of purchasing CLX because I know how I am....God, I am rambling today! Sorry! :eek:

Good Morning!:)

My head isn't tooooo big :confused: LOL But I probably should take something;) We had a good time last night. I didn't know that many people b/c they were mostly military. Some of our friends were around which was nice but I disappeared around 2'ish and went to bed:rolleyes: Im sure I will get heat for that today.

We are going to my inlaws for brunch soon. I am looking forward to it. Maybe all the food will give me energy for a run later! Other then that, I have no plans for today.I should pick out a paint color for DS's room b/c my dad is going to paint it next week.

Wendy** I totally understand what you are saying about STS. I am on my 2nd attempt to finish it. I knew the 1st time around that I wasn't going to be able to finish it with the FL trip right in the middle of it. Then when I got home, I found it hard to get back into the swing of things. I haven't ordered the cardio workouts yet.....I should probably do that. It could be my b-day gift!

So I need to do a run and STS legs today...disc 6 I guess...Im not sure.

I should get ready to head out. I will bbl!

Running through (though I NEED to run for reals ;) - just may do that today) to say I had a great relaxing day at the "Mushroom Mardi Gras" = local street faire) yesterday AFTER I did my STS C & B. I slept in today until after 8 which is about 2 or 3 hours for me ! :D

Will BBL for a little catch up on the personals and my workout . . . So happy there is another day left for my chores this weekend - need to weed (there are more weeds than veggies or flowers !) but the back is a bit sore from walking yesterday so that will be tomorrow's chore !

So this morning I ended up feeling HORRIBLE! I wanted to go shopping at Target and then hit the gym for my EXT session. I was getting ready around 9-9:30 in the morning when I quickly realized that it just wasn't gonna happen! My mouth had been bothering me a bit all morning (remenents of infection I am sure) but then I began to feel light-headed and jittery/shakey. I was afraid to drive for fear that I might pass out or something! :eek: I laid down on the couch for a while and then went back to bed and napped for 30 mins. Once again, I awoke a NEW WOMAN! WTH!?! :rolleyes:

So I threw on clothes, fixed my hair and dashed out to Target around 11:30am while I had the window of opporunity. ;) I ended up buying tinted moisturizer for myself. I love it. It's so much better then then regular self-tanning stuff. I also bought 2 pairs of obnoxiously bright colored capris :p (a purple pair and an orange pair). LOL I think they are cute though so I don't care. Very summery! :) Then I bought Joey a bunch of summer clothes that he desperately needed. Ofcourse, I picked up the wrong size in most of the tops so we have to go back a little later to do some exchanging.

When I returned from Target I still felt good so I moved on to a work out. I decided to do the Muscle Endurance upper body premix. Awesome work out! I was able to go heavier then Cathe on everything but biceps and the some of the tricep work. I atleast matched her on tri's. I started out with the same BB weight for bi's but had to drop down to 15# for the 2nd half of the set. :eek: I could be VERY sore tmrw! :cool: I skipped the ab section but may go back and do that along with some kind of cardio later in the day....

Lori: So did you get your STS work out done today? How was brunch with your inlaws?
