Jacque:: Yeah I thought about messing up the nutrtion info on the pancakes too so I will just buy what I need in 2% to make them and continue to buy 1% for everything else. I can't wait to go food shopping now so that I can make them! :D

Well, I am gearing up for Tear It Up over here. I just finished breakfast and want to swallow as much coffee as I can before it's GO TIME! I have CPR:)p) on the agenda as well. I will do that one after work. I thought about giving it a go this morning but I then I'd have to do Tear It Up later and that's a longer work out. I have less time in the afternoons now that regular school has started. I wait for him to get out before I do it but I wanted to go food shopping today too so that can't happen either. Oh well!

Good Morning!

Sorry I was MIA yesterday. After I got off of work on Sunday evening we went to a friends cabin for the night. We didn't get back until 2'ish yesterday afternoon. By the time I cleaned up, packed things away, did a load of laundry,went for my run...then ate supper...the day was gone.

I was sooo ticked on Sunday evening. I have come to the conclusion that the nicer you are to people..the worse they are. There are only 2 of us girls left at work and I have covered alot of shifts for the other girl in the last little while. I called her on Friday night to see what time she was coming back from the city on Sunday b/c we were thinking about going to the cabin and I wanted to know if she would go on call for me.She told me that she should be back by dinner time but she would call me. By 4 I still hadn't heard from her so at 5 I called her....she was still in the CITY! I was sooo pissed! It was going to take her atleast 3-4 hours to get back! After all the crap I have done for her in the past couple of monthes she couldn't leave the city 2-3 hours early so she could do something for me? I thought it was very selfish...so what goes around comes around. I am not doing anything else that I haven't already commited to for the next little while. I will lie if I have to and tell her that I am going away or have plans. I never ask for anything and when I do she can't even try and help me out. DH as known her for yrs...says thats the way she is and she as always been that way. She looks out for #1 and isn't to concerned about anyone else.

Wendy** Have fun with your workout. I admit...sometimes when I do weights in the a.m and drink coffee while I am doing it:eek: I have to...hehe!

Im hoping Insanity will show up today. I was suppose to be running with my running partner but its raining and I think its suppose to rain all day. Can't really trust DD to watch him b/c when she was asked to watch him yesterday, DH came home and he was sitting on the kitchen counter playing with a drink! Needless to say root beer went all over the floor and DD was sitting down on the couch, on the computer:mad: I have to admit the girl is pretty self absorbed.

So today will be disc 34...last week of the STS series. And a run at some point. I am going to try and read yesterday thread...then I will return ( I hope)

Back to quickly report that Tear It Up is done. I skipped most of the lower body work, the cardio and the abs due to time though and it STILL took me 55 minutes to finish. :confused: It was a great upper body work out though! :D I think I will investigate the possibility of splitting the 2 longer SS work outs into 2 work outs each on back to back days to make it easier on myself time-wise. You know what this means? It's time to re-write my rotation yet AGAIN! :eek::D:p

OK - morning ladies ! I just couldn't not pop in to say WHOA ! ! ! !

Yep - Insanity is definitely the perfect name for these workouts. Tough tough tough. I did fine until the push-up/climbers and then one of my quads was screamin' at me. Took a few time outs during the exercise to try to stretch it out and that hammie was acting up too. Hope it doesn't continue - will have to work on that leg to get it back up to par cuz this is too much fun ! Did I just say "fun"? :rolleyes:

Wendy - if you don't want to buy the 2% it will only change the fat % a bit as there are 2.5 gm fat in a 1/2 cup - you could make it up elsewhere. Can't wait to hear your review on them. If you skipped parts of TIU this AM and it took 55 min how long is it if you do the entire workout? Wow, almost like Cathe's hardcore series workouts.

Good Morning girlies!!

It's a quick check-in for me because this first day back after a holiday is a bit busy around here, but I'll bbl for personals.

Just wanted to report that PCC is done and oh man, still a killer, possibly worse, the second time around. However, I think it just might give the best endorphin buzz EVER :p

Never got my Fit Test done though! Yesterday was INSANELY busy for me. I'm actually glad to be back at work to rest a bit ;) Got some stuff to file with the court, but will bbl prolly after lunch~

Hi ladies,

I'm not starting over..so I'm a day ahead of Jacque and Jen. This morning was CPR and I did much better this time around. It's kind of nice that I've seen done them all once. Hopefully this afternoon I can hit the rec ctr for some upperbody work. I haven't lifted weights in forever it seems like. In reality it's probably only been 2 weeks.

Yesterday ended up being a rest day for me..kind of. I worked my butt off carrying stuff up and down the stairs, moving some of Jerod's furniture etc.

I made my eggbeaters w/spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes for this week. I also made my salads so meal wise I'm prepared. Now I just have to keep the dinners under control.

Is it time to update our thread title????

Wendy-good job getting that workout in. I'm a little jealous that you have time for both workouts. I'm going to try the protein pancakes too!

Jen-I never got around to the fit test either. I also forgot to weigh and measure..will do that next weekend I guess...I suppose I could actually do it anyday just to have a baseline. The insanity workouts are all kind of similar and each day I think...oh yea..this is my favorite one!

Lori-sorry your co-worker didn't come through for you. I guess you know not to trust her in the future. Some people are just that way and you can't let it bother you. I can't believe you were able to get your run in after cleaning up from your trip. I'm usually pretty beat after a weekend away.

Jacque-I can honestly say I'm enjoying Insanity the second week around. The first week was really tough as it was all new. I will just be one day ahead of you and jen this week. Isn't it nice to not have to do any choregraphy?? BTW, I do have a higher calorie burn on the days I do Insanity. Have a great day with the kids and gs's!

Laura-are you around today??? I'm sure you had some kind of trouble planned for the long weekend...what was it? Hope you are having a great day.

What's up girlies...I found us on page 2...ACK!!

I made it to the rec ctr for upper body, did 2 exercises, 3 sets of 12 for all upper body parts and finished off with abs.

Evenin' Insane Ladies....and yes, I do believe it's about time we change the title! I say whom ever starts it tomorrow just runs with it and then we can go from there! ;)

Jacque:: I bought 2% cottage cheese today at the store as well as extra eggs. I think I will make the pancakes one afternoon this week! I'm very eggcited! Get it? LOL :p Glad you enjoyed your first stab at Insanity. All of the work outs are pretty much the same as far as being uber intense! You are gonna have a ball with them! Oh and stop calling yourself old! Age is a state of mind (and body) and you are young in both respects, my friend! :)

Thanks for saving us from the depths of page 2! :eek: Glad you are enjoying Insanity more now. I was worried that you may consider returning it especially because of your poor feet on that concrete floor. Good job getting upper body in at at the rec ctr at lunch today! Hey, if I were working F/T I highly doubt I'd have time for the rotation as I am doing it now. There WILL come a day when things like this won't come so easily for me, trust me. I'm just taking advantage of the time to do it while I can! :)

Lori:: I'm sorry your coworker did that to you. I know what it's like as we have a coverage policy at work too if we can't or don't want to work an assigned shift. I will usually cover (which is 99% of the time I get asked) unless I have a valid reason not to and yet it seems I have one heck of a time finding coverage! :mad: Fingers crossed that you got Insanity today!!!!!:)

So I have crazy INSANE oblique DOMS from that darned Max Recovery work out I did y'day! :eek: I swear it was tougher then Cardio Abs!!! :confused: I guess that's why it's a month 2 work out and Cardio Abs is a month 1 work out but WOW it's nutty for something with the word RECOVERY in it! :eek:

So I did Cardio Power & Resistance this afternoon. I was draggin' a bit today for some reason but I finished it! Can't have a top-notch work out every time, right? :)

Alrighty, the coffee cup is empty. Time to wash the dinner dishes and go veg on the couch for a bit.

Well...I sat down in the living room hoping to have a little peace and quiet...and check in with my cyber friends BUT DH has decided to play the guitar and sing on the other side of the room:confused: O.k, just asked him to leave...he is gone:D Oh wait...no he isn't. Now he is stood up in the kitchen playing! Dear lord, what does a girl have to do to get a bit of quiet time. He as now moved on and talking about his hunger:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Todays workout was chest and back in the a.m and I just finished CC #6. Of course I was kept busy all day and we went to visit the baby sitter b/c DS goes back tomorrow morning. He hasn't seen her all summer so I wanted to refresh his memory. No doubt I will have trouble getting out of there tomorrow morning. Also, we were potty training all day. We did pretty good until we went out and when we got back from the sitters he didn't want to put his pull up back on. He was playing in the back yard with no clothes on and when I looked his was pooping on the lawn, (fascinated by it) he would move 2 feet, poop again...it was just a cycle. And then the dog was going right behind him smelling each peice of crap!:mad: So that was that..back in the house and pull up back on.

So it was a quiet day around here??? I did read yesterdays thread at 9 a.m so you know that it as left my brain by now.

Wendy** Im glad Im not the only one with a little tirant;) DS had a couple of time outs today but when he is in his room he is even worse. He screams, throws things...he doesn't stop until you let him out. I don't think he likes it when we are mad at him. He usually behaves himself when we let him out of his room. Supper time here is always a circus. He won't sit up and eat his supper. If he does, its only a few bites and then he moves on and wants me to go with him! Drives me crazy! Every night is the same!!!

Diana** Im assuming that you are almost done with that room? My goodness...seems like it is taking forever. Moving stuff is definitly a good workout.

Ok so no f'ing Insanity again today. Im sure it will arrive tomorrow while I am at work. I am also getting the cold. My troat as been itchy the past couple of days. Just what i want!!!
