Hi Ladies,

Today will be STS legs. I'm actually looking forward to it. I have some nice DOM's in the Chest, Shoulders and Triceps. That heavy weight really does wonders for me.

Only one cyber deal for me...a laptop for DS. The problem I was having was customizing a dell laptop and then it was above my budget. I ended up getting a really nice one in my budget....so happy. :)

The BR 1000 repper looks great...count me in for this weekend also!

Laura-so you can tell I'm not really awake when I'm posting.:p Glad your not sick and it was just crappy weather. Your class sounded great!! We've had great weather...50's and 60's, now there's a cold front coming through...cold and snow expected tonight and tomorrow.

Wendy-what was your w/o today?

Allee-was the dentist able to fix the problem and get rid of the pain? I sure hope so! What w/o do you have on tap for today?

Good Morning Ladies.

Slept in again this morning but managed a work out despite my laziness. :p Shred: Level 3. Been ages since I'd pulled that one out (even though I've said I was going to countless times!) and it kicked my azz just as hard as ever! :eek:

So I was brave this morning and took my bf% with my omron after a few months of staying away b/c even though I was successfully losing weight and definitely looking leaner, my bf didn't seem to be dropping the way I thought it should. Well, I'm happy to say that it has now! I'm back down to the same kind of # that I acheived during my P90X rotation years ago! WOO HOO! I'm a happy girl! :D

So with the help of our dear long lost check in pal, Jen, I have decided on a new rotation starting Monday. FINALLY, after owning it for probably a good year, I am going to do.....wait for it...*drum roll please*....an S90 ROTATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you shocked!? I know! Me too! :eek::p;):D My initial thought was P90X but after doing shorter work outs for so long I can't swallow a committment of at minimum 3 hour long w/o's per week right now and then Jen suggested S90 and I was all over it! PERFECT solution!

Di:: Enjoy STS legs. Glad you got a good deal on a laptop for your DS.

I just wanted to say «HI»....

No workout to report. I am still in lots of pain. The dentist is schduled for a root canal. I never have this done before so I am very nervous!!!!! :(

Wendy: if i am better i am joinning you with that 1000 rep! Haha....who am i kidding?? S90 which one is that?

I got me the cyber deal on that....guess low series has to wait.

WED - hump day

OK .. soooooo great class last night - another sweatfest - mish mosh mostly low impact - DOMS: core back and shoulders ... sooooo for 2 weeks now I have done NO high impact classes .. sooooooo THURSDAY .. YUP .. it is gonna be FULL OUT PLYO ..... no body work .. just plain work @$$ off heart pounding plyo work finished off w/abs and yoga!! :eek: :D should be a shock to the old sore bod!!!!!

DI -- good deal on the laptop .. I want and IPAD sooooo bad .. but cant really take that leap .. nothing wrong w/current laptop .. and I dont use it that often .. I dont have access to WIFI at home either ...

Wendy .. 1000 rep .. yes .. looks awesome .. I may just join you girlies this weekend ... CONGRATS on bodyfat % ... have not got that brave yet .. I gained ONE POUND back ... ugh .. sooooo I gotta get that off ... you know all my diet and working out .. I NEVER dropped below a 4 pound loss .. but everyone thought I had lost a LOT of weight .. guess it shows a good bit on me.. which means that pound has GOTTA GO!!!

Allee - hope the mouth is feeling better!

Lori - you are getting close to home stretch now girlie ..

OK .. soooo today I have massive head ache and cramps ... PMS monster AND stressfull day ystdy are to blame .. today gonna be rest day ..

No workout for me today, I attempted but it didn't workout. Since I started working before my workout I didn't get downstairs to start my w/o until after 1pm. I donated blood yesterday and didn't eat before my w/o today. After the first round I was nauseous and light headed. I tried to push through the second grouping but had to stop. Fortunately I felt much better after eating so will do legs tomorrow morning.

Laura-your class sounds like so much fun! Sure wish I could attend too!

Wendy-Nice job with the BF%...and Shred! Are the S90 w/o's shorter? I've only done a few of them, but not all. I do recall my legs being quite sore from the S90 w/o....oh and the ab w/o is good too!

Allee-Oh no, a root canal. If it makes the pain go away it will be worth it. Hope they get you in soon to have that taken care of. Where do you live? I'm in Colorado, but got to meet Wendy on the NJ road trip.

This morning was AFTER BURN in full/as produced...FINALLY! :p

Tomorrow will likely be a rest day so that I can prepare for BR on Saturday!:eek::eek::eek:

Di:: Yup, the S90's are shorter. Most clock in between 30 and 45 minutes. Not as short as I've been used to but shorter then the X so I'll take it! LOL Sorry you couldn't w/o but you were smart not to push it. You will have a great w/o tmrw! :) So will you be doing the 1000 rep BR w/us this weekend?

Laura:: We will have to compare notes on the BR on monday!!!;)

Allee:: Oh hugs!!! Don't be nervous about the root canal! That's what they have novacane and/or laughing gas for!!!!;) S90 is Supreme 90. Google it and you should find tons of info...heck, for that matter search it right here in the open discussion forum and you will find alot of info as well! :)
 
THURS - ugh I am draggin!

I am working on maybe 2 hours sleep - RUFF night - my washer threw water all over my laundry room :mad: - my dogs barked nonstop - i was up and down all night w/them - DH didnt come home and didnt bother calling to tell me he had to work over :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: the fire went out on the coldest night of the year (it was 26 this morning)- i was out getting dogs in and gathering firewood at 3 in morning IN MY PJ's :mad::mad::mad: this on top of my allready SH##y week at work AND lets not forget the fffffn PMS monster is killing me this month :mad::mad::mad: .. so my REST day turned out to be NOT TOO RESTFUL!!! gggrrrrrrrrr

the goal for today ... keep head down - try to avoid contact w/people - make it to the workout tonight .. and then survive my own torture!!! Which is to be all full out PLYO class :eek:

Wendy - how long do you think the BR 1000 rep w/o will take?? SAT I am going w/some friends shopping - getting ready for our Dirty Santa party the following weekend ... and will be pressed for time .. but want to do the w/o

Di - yup - dont try to w/o after donating blood .. that is pushing it .. you will be ready today tho!~

Allee - I have hd 4 root canals .. yes Wendy is right .. that is what novacane AND laughing gas is for .. I reccommend BOTH .. LOL... I am a WHIMP when it comes to the dentist ... but they really arent any worse than a filling ... just longer

OK .. I better run .. maybe today wont be too bad .. but it IS the FIRST of the month - I dont have to work front counter bc we have extra person .. but sure I will be on it tmrw .. b/c BOTH of the welfare check will drop tmrw . .. ugh .... oh well .. should make day past fast .. I am just glad I dont have to do it today .. prlby would never balance given the sleep deprivation~~~ have a great one!~;)
 
Laura:: I suspect that it won't take more then an hour. That's my gut feeling and lots of times I do it faster then I initially think that I will!
 
Hi Ladies,

I've been feeling under the weather, no energy etc for past couple days. This is happening more frequently after donating blood. I'm going to give the Legs w/o a try this morning. Probably just the 2 trisets I didn't get to though.

Laura-our temps have dropped as well. The snow yesterday dropped 3-6 inches and the overnight temps will be in the teens for the next week. Hope you aren't having washing machine issues. Gathering firewood in 20 temps in your pajamas...you are crazy girl!

Wendy-Yes, count me in on the BR 1000 rep w/o. I have a haircut and laser appts Sat morning so may do this w/o on Sunday.

Allee-hows the pain? Hopefully you are doing better. When is your procedure planned for?

I rested today thinking I'd be sore from AB so needing it before tackling the 1000 rep BR tmrw! Unfortunately I am not sore at all! WTH!? :confused: Guess I need to up the weights next time! ;)

Di:: I wonder why giving blood is harder on you then it used to be? Maybe you need to eat a couple more cookies when you are done from now on! ;) So do you want me to keep my thoughts on the BR a secret until you have the chance to do it on Sunday or would you like to be forewarned? LOL

Laura:: Collecting firewood at 3am in the cold!?!? UGH! Sorry you had to do that!

Plyo class KICKED butt last night ... after not doing it for 2 weeks... you sure could tell .. DOMS - hammies - core - shoulders! anothe sweatfest!! good thing .. b/c doesnt look like I will get another workout till SUN .. unless you count SHOPPING w/VBF ..which really should be considered a sport in it's own sense b/c she is PRO shopper and I am NOT.. she will be dragging me everywhere and I will be like a little kid poutingbehind her .. LOL !!! I despise it!!!

Wendy .. my BR 1000 rep will have to be done SUN .. VBF has vowed to drag me out of my house kicking and screaming at 8:30 tmrw morning .. :confused: .. so SUN will be my first chance to do it!!

Di .. you do give blood a lot tho right?? maybe need to have more time in between donations???

Allee .. hope you are feeling better ..

Our Lori only has a month to go till her little one arrives!!!!

Good Morning Friends. :)

Well y'day was a freakin' whirl-wind of activity and I was exhausted by 8pm! Went from work out to chuck e cheese to food shopping to movies (Muppet Movie) to making stew to gingerbread house building to dinner (nope, didn't eat the stew-it was still cooking!) to pass out! :eek::p

So when I did the BR y'day I couldn't remember if the burpees included push ups in them when I got into my work out room to get started. I had shut down the computer and didn't feel like waiting for it to reboot to check so I decided to include push ups just in case. Well...I just looked at the vid this morning and I guess I did 100 EXTRA push ups! :eek: I had a feeling that would be the case since push ups are in the work out on their own but I wasn't taking the chance so I did them anyway! :p

The only thing that is really sore on me this morning are my calves which surprises me. I thought after all those push ups that my chest would hurt but nope. Not at all!?? I thought that after all those burpees, squat jumps and split jumping lunges that my legs would hurt but nope-can't really say that they do!! Ofcourse, I cheated the squat jumps. I only used my UGI for weight on those. I don't regret it except to say that I would probably have DOMS in my lower body if I had gone heavy but I also may have landed myself in a wheel chair before the work out was even over so it's probably best I didn't go there! LMAO!;):p:D

So today I am going shopping and out to dinner. Should be a nice day as long as shopping doesn't drive me insane! :eek:

What are you ladies doing besides BR? ;) I am resting today btw so I am fresh for starting the S90 rotation tmrw! :)

Morning Ladies!

No workout to report for yesterday. Between my haircut appt, electrolysis, grocery shopping and meeting up with some friends...there was simply no time.

DH and I had a great time at a nearby comedy club. We met up with some friends from High School. We went out to dinner afterwords and that meal just didn't sit very well with me. Hoping to sweat it out today!:D

Today will be the next STS disc, Back and Biceps, to be followed up the BR 1000 rep w/o. I'm hoping DS will be up by the time I finish the STS w/o so he can do the 1000 repper with me!

Wendy-I previewed the w/o this morning and saw that the burpees didn't include the pushup. How much does your UGI weigh? I thought I could use one of my kb's or my 10# med ball.

Back to report I survived the BR 1000 rep w/o! DS did it one time through...slacker! It took me 43:13 which is longer than I thought it would take.

Off to run errands in our 20 degree temps....bbbbrrrrrrr.

Wendy-No extra pushups for me today....but I did do the squat jumps with a 15# KB! Did the BR w/o first and then B&B...and I'm still feeling pretty good.
