Good Morning Ladies.

No work out for me this morning. I got up when my alarm went off but after I peed I decided to turn around and head back to bed. :p Perhaps I'll do something later but if not then tmrw. I'm not worried. I had a tiring weekend. I deserved that extra hour's snooze and no work out, right? ;)

Haven't had too much of the Monday blues thing since going back to work until lately. All of the sudden Mondays are terrible again! I guess it just comes (sooner or later) with the territory of working f/t huh? :rolleyes:

My shins are absolutely killing me! They are soooo sore. I have no idea what I did to them this weekend! That is admittedly also part of the reason why I went back to bed this morning. I figured they needed the rest. My shoulders are also just recovering from Friday's upper body Tonique segment. They were sore as heck all weekend! I'm a mess huh? LOL

Ah.....it's nice to sleep in!:) It's a holiday today so everyone is still tucked in bed. Actually, I am in bed....DS is sitting next to me watching t.v and on the other side of him, is DH....still half snoring.:confused:

I went for a 45 mins run yesterday and that was it. Even though my pace was good, I was not feeling it! I could have stopped a few times but I didn't. I guess it was the weird sleep I had the night before....or the fact that I had punched 9 long days. I should be able to get a good workout in today though b/c its raining again and we don't have any plans.

Diana** Did you get your house work done?? I need to do some today as well. I am not even sure where to start. I have been pitter pattering around for the last week...cleaning here and there...so nothing looks dirty but at the same time I feel as if I need to start from the bottom and work my way down.

Jacque** I am guessing you are not impressed with yesterdays game?;)

Laura** How are you feeling?? Did you have a good weekend??

Wendy** So lots of eating and no working out?? What as gotten into you?:p Sounds like you had a good weekend. I don't blame you for going back to bed.

So.....its Mon....I leave on FRI!:eek: And I know this week is going to FLY b/c I am off today and tomorrow and work on Wed....packing and spending time with DS on Thurs...leave Fri morning @ 6 a.m! I don't even know what time I will be getting up. I will get lots of reading done in my travels though. I did about 30 mins last night and I have to tell you...some boring crap! I am reading about the digestive tract now....snoozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzze!!!

BBL to report my workout and b/c of Wendy I think I want pancakes for breakfast!

Hi ladies,

Part of my new job responsibility is to facilitate this weekly release meeting. I scheduled it for 9am on Monday's and nobody said a word when I asked if that time would be okay. Now a few folks would like to have it at a different time. After the meeting today I will try to reschedule. I need to be to work a tad early to finish my preparations.

I only ended up doing yard work and cleaning bathrooms yesterday. The yard looks nice and I'm happy about that. This morning will be a short leg w/o, SS lower body blast and abs. Not sure how to fit in everything this week as I have all day training sessions T/W, catch up on work TH/F.

Wendy-it sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. Your shins may be hurting if you did a lot of walking. Go ahead and rest up for tomorrow!

Lori-even you have bad running days..well at least we know you're human.:D I'm sure the week will fly by and you will be on your way to Ottowa! You will be great! Do you fly home next Monday? Next Monday is our Memorial Holiday so I will finally get a 3 day weekend. DH has a furlough day on Friday so he gets a 4 day weekend. I'm making my honey-do list.

Morning Ladies !

No workouts for me this weekend - bad mental days for me, UGH! I wish I could pull myself into a world where I want to get up in the AM and am sure it will come, but for now I have zero motivation at all. Ah well, BTDT and eventually things change. I have nothing really horrible going on, just not "having fun" at home or at work. A good Cathe workout this evening should help a bit? Even my little baby doves flew the nest this weekend and left me sad . . . I feel deserted ! :rolleyes:

Wendy - my shins were achy after my run last week. Perhaps it was all the dancing? ;) :p You keep to a great workout schedule so have nothing to keep you from taking extra rest days when needed. Monday morning blues? I am having them daily except perhaps on Fridays.

Lori - can't believe your mary is here already. Yep, the week will fly by and before you know it you'll be posting your PR here for us to see ! Take it easy and don't over do it so you have lots of energy.

Diana - well at least 9 AM on Mon will keep them thinking you mean business ! No better way to get a grip on what hasn't been accomplished than keeping a firm hand on it. Perhaps you could make it a more convenient time when they start producing as they are expected to - make it a "reward".;)

Laura - how are the aches and pains for you today? Did you get some good R&R this weekend?

P.S. Yes Lori - was not thrilled with the game y'day. They didn't play badly, just not like a playoff team. Oh well, now I have credits for the tickets that didn't get used. How is that for positive thinking? LOL !
 
Jacque:: Sorry you have no motivation for your work outs. It would probably help you work off some of the stress but I get why you are having trouble getting them done too. It's like if you could only get started you know you'd feel better but getting started can be impossible!!!! (((HUGS))) Hope things improve for ya soon!

Diana:: Cleaning bathrooms. Does NOT sound like a fun day!:p Yeah there was a lot of walking actually so that's probably why my shins hurt. I hope they are better by tmrw though!!!!:eek:

Lori:: So everyone has the day off today in your house? NICE! When did DH finally decide to roll out of bed? LOL My DH likes to sleep too so I know where you are coming from!
 
Monday .. sooo soon ..

man this weekend went by in a BLINK :confused: ... the shower was excellent .. she got lots of nice things and cool stuff .. then the party was EXCELLENT .. I did lots of drinking but think I was sweating it out about as fast as I was drinking it :p ... we danced and sand kareoke :confused: .. yes I sang :confused: .. kinda scary huh??? we were sooooo loud surprised the neighbors didnt complain :p .. I did try to dance some but the ribcage siad .>NO NO NO .. soooo .. we left around 10 or so it was FUN .. and I didnt have a hangover either :D ystday I was on phone most of day w/VBF about long lost friend .. her psycho BF went bizzerk .. long story .. but hoping this will be her breaking point and she ditches the JERK! :mad:

ANYWHO .. I lounged in the pool on a float ystday .. dont think it did my ribcage any good .. I am kinda hurting a bit more today .. think getting on and off the float .. contracting those muscles hurt it!! I am moving better .. the arm is MUCH better .. I am canceling class this week .. I need to do some door to door campaigning anyway .. and I dont feel up to anything but the walks .. feeling like a fatty ... UGH .. having MAJOR withdrawals from NO exercise :(

Wendy .. sounds like you had a GREAT weekend . loads of fun .. your shins could be sore from dancing .. LOL... you wild woman!! :p

Lori .. is the marathon this weekend??? I know it is soon

Di .. I love getting the house and yard in order .... that is a good feeling ..

Jacque ..hope you get outta your funk .. I hate that "nothing going right" feeling .. UGH ...

Ok .. gotta jet .. please exercise for the banged up one .. it is gonna be a B### when i do start back .. ya'll get ready for some major complaining :p have a great one!:D
 
Laura:: Sounds like you had just as much fun as I did this weekend! I danced some but would have liked to dance more! I drank like a fish though! :p Captain or Cuervo Black and coke all weekend! WOO HOO!:D
 
Finished BBL Rio Extreme just a few minutes ago. So glad I did it! I feel great! Can't wait to get up and work out tmrw now! Have a great night ladies!:D
 
Hi ladies,

Another very busy but productive day. Glad it is almost behind me. I'm in all day training classes the next two days. Not even sure if I'll be able to make it here or not.

For my w/o's, I'm taking a Wendy approach and trying to find w/o's to fit my limited time this week. For tomorrow I want either do a HIIT w/o or one body part from GS upper body. I'm leaning towards HIIT so I can get some cardio in.

Wendy-Nice...you got your w/o in tonight! Now that's dedication.

Jacque-sorry your in a funk....hopefully the sun will come out and everything will fall into place soon. Good suggestion, reward them with a later meeting! I'm actually looking forward being in charge of something!:D

Laura-sounds like you had another wonderful weekend! Probably a good idea to take another week or so off.
