Good Morning Peeps. :)

Well, it's Monday again! :rolleyes:

Last night when I got home from my inlaws (around 8pm), I did KPC's punching and kicking combos. With w/u and cool down it was just a tad over 30 minutes long and just enough. I used weighted gloves to make it a bit more intense and was a sweaty beast when I was done.

I logged over 11,000 steps when I took my ped off. Truth be told though, I would have struggled to hit 10k had I not done KPC. Considering I was at almost 7k y'day morning, that's pretty darned sad! :(

Diana:: Glad you were able to sleep in a bit. Such a treat. Oh I remember teenage years. I'd think nothing of sleeping til noon! LOL So how did DH like his Father's Day gift(s)? Good self control not buying for yourself on Saturday. I'm not always that in control. :p My legs STILL hurt from the manmaker work out on Sunday! :eek:

Jen:: The Director's Suite!? OOH LA LA! Sounds like the big time there, girl! Breakfast in bed, too? Did DSO feed you? ;) Congrats on coming home a winner. I know for me, that doesn't happen NEARLY enough! Yeah, I was slackin' on the martinis when I was in A/C. I actually drank 1 1/2. I ordered the 2nd a few minutes before dinner and brought it in to the restaraunt but once I began eating, I just didn't want it anymore. Phooey! LOL Nice cardio/weights circuits you put together with Jari's weight work. I love doing that kind of stuff. Eleviates boredom and makes both cardio and weights easier to get in at times.

I have to think about what today's work out will be. I'll get back to you all on that one!

Good Morning, Wendy, and all who follow!

This morning's workout was on the treadmill for 4.25 miles this morning. Weather still sucks, so maybe a walk at lunch, maybe not. I have a raincoat and umbrella with me, but it's all going to depend on whether I feel like looking like a poodle for the rest of the afternoon :confused:

Wendy: Sorry to hear you didn't come home a winner, but I know all too well how that feels. This is the first time I didn't leave there down, I think. DSO spoils me, no doubt about that. Perfect example, he popped into my parents yesterday after dinner with some new shoes for me just because he saw them and thought I'd like them. My sister says "Awww, I want a boyfriend like that!" and her husband says "I want you to have a boyfriend like that! It'd save me a ton of money!" LOL. Re: the steps...I logged just over 4k yesterday without an organized workout. How pathetic! What did you decide on for a workout today?

Should do a little work, but will bbs~

Hello there girlies !

I am hoping to make this a new week and hit a couple of goals. Started reading Venuto's Body Fat Solution - talks alot about getting emotional eating under control - I'll be working on the CABS more since my food is not too bad. Yesterday was AOS Firepower (one round through + 5 min snatch bonus) and a 30 min walk (I read my book at the same time :D).

Worked out a one body part/day routine with a cardio rotation that mimics very closely to what Cathe is doing to shock herself up a bit (except I can't do spinning) and am adding just a little extra cardio since I'm more endo than she is. (Think that's the pear, right? a bit early here . . . ) Will come home at lunch to do my weight work since it will be short and I won't get too sweaty). Hope it makes a diff. (crosses fingers and toes). If not, GWF here I come . . . :eek:

Jen - I did get the "circle" in front of my house rototilled and planted. :p Now I'm done with what I "need" to do. Will start on some additional projects as I feel like it. No ped for me the past couple days - I know I didn't get in 10K since no w/o Fri & Sat, but yesterday I probably did pretty well. Wow what a weekend you had - glad you had the special suite - sounds wonderful, and then what a grand dinner you prepared for your Dad. Nice job ! I lucked out as DH went shooting clays with FIL and I just stayed home to do my stuff. He was gone from 12 - 7 PM, nice and luxurious for me as I read, worked out, hit the jacuzzi, you get my drift . . . Woo Hoo on smaller jeans girl !

Wendy - great job getting a w/o in AFTER you came home ! Can't beat that motivation ! Hope you figure out a fun rotation. Have you found any other jobs to apply for lately? or is the job market kinda dead there?

Well off to measure & weigh so I can track myself and be accountable ! Y'day was day 2 no CABS, about 1400 cals. I need to do this . . .

Hi Girls.

I've decided to do Push Pull as produced today. I'd like to get in some cardio as well but haven't decided what that will be yet.

So I've decided to put 4DS on hold. I am probably going to be going with BF to the gym for a few more weeks on Tuesdays. It's easier just to do f/b work outs during this time. I'll go back to 4DS once she is more comfortable and doesn't need the company/help every week or when I can go with her and do my own thing like just go for a run or something. :)

Jen:: Hey, nuttin' wrong with a little spoiling now and then, girl! Enjoy it! :) Between that run and the walk if you take it, you'll have 10k steps nailed no problem and probably by 1pm! ;) LOL'd at my BIL's response to your sis wanting a BF like yours. :D

Jacque:: No need to cut out CABs completely. You don't want to deny yourself totally or you are likely to fail. Just pull in the reigns a bit to, say, only having a couple on the weekends or something like that. :) 1400 cals is the bare minimum I can go. My BMR is around 1330 I think (I have it written down somewhere....) but I don't even try to dip below 1400. Actually I think 1450 is the lowest I've ever gone...atleast that I know of when keeping track. Nope, I haven't found anything new to apply for job wise. Something will come along eventually though...a better part time job would be wonderful actually!

Ran around here this morning like a chicken with out a head de-cluttering my house before taking Joey to school. I'd like to actually CLEAN it today too but that will probably have to wait until later on this afternoon. Joey gets out of school early today and it will be better if my work out is done before then. Easier to clean when he is home then to work out if DH isn't here to watch him for me.

Off I go to grab a snack and then get to my work out!

Hi Ladies,

I'm heading down for Power Hour this morning. I haven't done this w/o in a long time and am always sore afterwards. I seem to remember the lunges go on forever:) I also have bootcamp tonight!

I skipped my workout yesterday and ate way too much. Just snacking all day....and I know better. I've been looking at tracking calories and staggering but I'm waiting on the rec ctr to call me back. If I don't have a message from them tonight I will be calling them. It's been a week since I dropped of my paperwork and I know they have it because they called me to see what my schedule was. I should have an initial meeting with the nutritionist/dietician and should be given a dietary guideline to follow.

Thanks for all the nice comments about my granddaughters! They are so much fun. I'm so looking forward to going out there again next month.

Wendy-wow, you are quite the motivator getting in that w/o when you get home! I usually got in most of my steps after work. I didn't usually wear the ped during my morning w/o's and would only have around 300 steps when I got to work in the morning.

Jen-Your weekend sounded fab! You are a great w/o mish mosher along with Wendy. I'm starting to mix and match more and more as it keeps the fun factor up.

Jacque-I had pretty good results when I was running and doing the 4DS weight workouts last summer. Since the running program I was following started out with 3 mile runs, I would run first and come home and do weights. It worked out pretty nicely. Now I'm struggling to get myself up and going in the morning-lack of motivation I guess. I've also read The Body Fat Solution. I too need more cardio, good luck with your rotation. I don't have Firepower, but one of the other AOS w/o's I have is much harder than the others.

Hola Chicas.

My work out is done. I followed Push Pull up with High Step Challenge Cardio. I did 1-5 and then repeated 1-3 again for 15-20 mins of cardio. Great work out. :)

Diana:: Wow Power Hour and Boot Camp class! And you think *I* am the one that is motivated!?!? :eek: You go girl!

Well, I am eating lunch as I type this and then I must jump in the shower. Have to be back at DS' school for an end of the school year ice cream party at noon! :D

Hello Ladies ..

I had a WONDERFUL stress free weekend ... exercised and lounged both days!! SAT did BBC full body w/o ... then lounged by pool w/SIL, DB, DN and his buddy .. they played up a storm .. it was 100 degrees and stiffling .. you couldnt lounge BY the pool you had to lounge IN the pool .. the water is hot too .. feels like a sauna!! :confused: Ystdy SIL and I did BBC legs and buns cardio AND the weights!! :eek: MY oh MY I forgot how hard that freaking w/o was .. LOL ... a MILLION step ups and hops .. not to mention MEGA reps on LB :eek: we were FRIED when we were done . . we jumped directly into the pool and onto the floats to recoop!! LOL

Mom is doing better .. she went back to work today .. I think it is too soon .. but she does have "restrictions" she BETTER follow!!!

Wendy ... sorry you didnt hit it big ..but sounds like you had a great time .. only 1.5 martinis :eek: WOW ... me and SIL had your slack .. those cold coors lights were going down mighty fine in the heat!!! :p

Jen .. what a wonderful DSO you have!!! and the directors suit AND winning .. :D:D you go girl!! :cool:

Jacque .. no CABS .. woohooo ... I am not going to say NONE .. just gonna watch how many .. LOL!!! I will be fishing this weekend ... soooooo I am sure the chances of me NOT consuming any are slim to none :eek:

Di .. oooohhhhh .. LOVED the pics of the DGB .. OMG their eyes are GORGEOUS .. gonna be some heart breakers for sure!~!! Beautiful girls!!! Too bad DS and their Mom didnt work out .. b/c they sure do make a lovely family!!!!

Lori .. thank goodness DN got out of the running stage .. he is gonna be 7 on July 4th .. and he is just a little man now .. he minds his parents too!!! But can remember the quickness he would do his dissapearing acts .. LOL ... it is like they WANT to scare you .. ya .. they think it is CUTE and funny .. all the while you are having a heart attack!!!!

OH .. SIL and I did BBC shoulders and back at lunch .. tonight is plyo 4 step class ... :confused: .. I am a glutton for punishment!!!:p

OK .. gotta run .. work is still crazy .. something big is brewing .. and there are weird vibes everywhere .. pia in training is still not back :confused: she must of messed up big time!!!

We are still under heat advisories .. temp 99 degrees .. heat index of 108 .. bet you could fry and egg on the pavement . . stiffling hot!!! .. Have a great one:D

Oh my goodness....Im reading everyones post and my eyes are going together....not b/c you guys are boring;) Im just super duper lazy!

I had a great time with the girls sat. We did some shopping,met up for dinner, went back to the hotel and got ready, then met up with the girls around 8'ish. We were home in bed by 2:30...that wasn't to bad!:p I didn't feel 100% yesterday but I wasn't throwing up either. Im not sure whats up with getting up, can't sleep but Im only up an hour and I could crawl back into bed...whats up with that???:rolleyes:

So no workout yesterday but we went for a really long run today (probably why I am lazy, plus chasing DS around all afternoon) We did between 17-18 km, plus, pushing the stroller. That should have taken care of all the eating I did this weekend. I didn't drink much cause everytime I looked I was being handied a shooter...barf!

Diana** Are you sore from PH? I did that one a couple of weeks ago and my legs were sore for a couple of days.I hate lunges but I did them b/c I hadn't worked legs in a while.

Wendy** I have only ever done PP a handful of times, same thing with SS. I never did enjoy those workouts very much b/c I was never sore. I kept them of course b/c I know as soon as I sell them I will find a rotation that I want to do with them involved:rolleyes: Thats the way I work. But you did give me the itch to do HSC, its been such a long time since I have done a circuit workout. How was your weekend?

Jen** Did you get that walk in? As I was reading it I was thinking "what about her hair":p

Jacque** Where did you read about what Cathes doing? I never go to any other boards then here....I barely make it here half of the time!

Laura** I am waiting for the running and the screaming to stop any day now:eek: Truth be known, I wasn't ready to come home yesterday....I think I needed a full weekend away. Happy to hear your mom is doing good and you had a great weekend!!!

Lori:: Sounds like a fun time with the girls! Love that! Hope your run burned off some of the bad stuff. I only had 1 1/2 drinks in AC. I was disappointed in myself! :p I like Push Pull and Super Sets but forget about them a lot. I'm glad I thought of them. I'll probably do Super Sets soon now too and then maybe put the disc away and forget about it for another 6 months! With all the work outs I have, I don't really HAVE to use any one work out more often then that! ;) LOL I really felt the lower body work in Push Pull today as my legs are STILL feelin' the darned KB work out from Saturday!!!!:eek:

Laura:: BBC is tough stuff. When I did the week of it not that long ago I did the cardio first. It was easier to get through that way...ESPECIALLY for the legs and butt one! :eek: Glad you had a great weekend. You needed a break from the bad stuff. Happy to hear mom is doing better. Fingers crossed that she takes it easy and follows dr's orders as far as her restrictions go. :)

Jacque:: Thanks for keepin' tabs on us and gettin' us back to page 1!!! :D So you have decided that IF you do it, it will be the GWF, huh? I'm still not convinced on that one. I like the price as well as the size of the fit bit alot more. I'm still thinking about it though...Not gonna jump on anything right now...for once, I'm gonna be patient and really think about it before I buy it! :p

Just got back from a 20 minute walk. Would have liked to make it longer but dinner was calling my name. I am not a fan of eating late. I prefer to eat by 6pm if at all possible...even earlier if I am motivated to start cooking in time! :)

Steps are at 7438 which means I'll be doing laps around my house to make quota later...unless I can get out for ANOTHER walk after dinner! :)

Hey Ladies,

I made it to the rec ctr and did 40 min on the EXT, 10 min on the rec. bike and then abs. I need to get back to a normal w/o schedule and I have the time to do it now. Still looking forward to boot camp tonight!

Wendy-I haven't done PP in a long time. I tend to forget about PP and SS, although SS does have leg premix I love. I think it's called Lower Body Blast and its only 30 minutes long. So is Joey out for the summer now? Does he have to go to a different daycare/preschool for the summer?

Laura-after reading your post I need to quit complaining about our 80 and 90 degree weather. GD's are cute for sure. Rylee tends to be more of a Daddy's girl and Rallie Mae just takes charge and does whatever she wants. They are a lot of fun. I'm sure DN and his friend had a great time in the pool.

Lori-I'm sure you do need a whole weekend away, that would be nice. Too bad we have to live in reality. I would love a getaway weekend with DH, I'm sick of sharing him with youngest DS. Sounds terrible doesn't it....but we never have any time just for us. I'm sure you burned off anything you might've had if you were pushing the stroller on your long run! You are truly amazing. I'm not sore yet from PH but I certainly expect to be tomorrow when I wake up.

I don't like Mondays, and I hate rainy Mondays :mad: Ick.

So I managed to go out for my walk at lunchtime. It was raining and really miserable. The umbrella really only did half its job. Enough complaining though...

Jacque: Sounds like you had a very nice Father's Day ;) I love those days where I can just do whatever I want and don't have to tend to anyone else. Glad you were able to accomplish the flower planting you wanted to. You sound like my sister who is quite the gardener. The green thumb definitely passed me over though! I kill everything I touch (plant-wise, that is!)

Wendy: Thanks for mentioning PushPull. I've always loved that one, because it works ya good in under an hour. You were right, I nailed the 10k goal today no problem with my walk at lunch. Somehow I'm up to 17,516 so far today after cleaning the house and making dinner. I think I'm a step addict :p

Laura: Happy to hear you had a stress free weekend! You deserve it after everything you've been dealing with. Still sending positive vibes for you mom, this time that she heeds the doctors advice and takes extra good care of herself! Hope you're staying cool! Don't be afraid to blow some of that hot air up in my direction!

Lori: Sounds like you had a fantastic weekend with the girls. I lol'd about your "what about her hair?" thought. I was a big frizz ball when I got back to the office and I didn't even bother trying to fix it. I just threw it up in a ponytail for the rest of the afternoon. I work with eight other women and one man, and none of them really care what my hair looks like :)

Diana: Great job at the rec center this afternoon! I hope you enjoy boot camp tonight, too. I totally get wanting to spend some alone time with your DH. It's so hard when you have the kids and their schedules and all the running, and no one to really leave them with for a weekend. You both deserve to take some time away together! Very therapeutic!

Guess I'll go get some laundry to fold and watch a little t.v. while I do it. I know...that sounds so fun you are all jealous, aren't you?
