Good Morning,

Just getting us started! I have to take DS1 to skating and DS2 to get weighed later, could be a busy day but Im hoping to run at some point in time!

Did Athletic Training this morning as per the rotation and it kicked my butt yet again! :)

Lori:: Busy day for you! Hope you can get that run in there some where! Does DS2 do ice skating or roller skating? We want to sign my son up for Karate.

THURS - FIRST OF MARCH - wow!!!

I cant believe it is MARCH - this is the week of the anniversary of my father's death :( it is also the birthday month of my DB, DH, BOSS, and 2 of my very good friends!!!! :) It also means FRINZY training and dieting b/c of realization that bathing suit season is upon us :confused::confused::confused::confused:

SIL and I did Afterburn last night - I swear that is THE BEST workout - it is fun - muscle burnout - and sweatfest!!! DOMS: shoulders and back (hvy weights) and core (Ab)

Wendy - AB and AT are two that surprise me EVERY time - I always start them thinking .. I will be better this time - wont be as hard .. HA :p they kick my arse every time - and thing is .. i keep finding myself surprised by what is coming next :confused::confused::confused:

Lori - hope the "weigh in" goes well - hope you get that run in!

Today is TRISETS- LB at lunch (at cc- hoping we can get it all in) - no workout tonight - mini date night at my house and SIL has DS ball stuff.

OK .. have a great one - it is the FIRST - and I am finally at my desk FOR ONE DAY .. so I gotta play major catch up on paperwork!! Have a great day ... and great sweaty workouts! ;)
 
Hi Ladies,

I had a terrible night last night. I was up coughing...woke up DH and DS...not good. I'm working from home again today, just not up for going in to the office yet.

Lori-Thanks for starting the new month!:) Hope you get that run in sometime...enjoy your day!:D

Laura-I love 2 a day w/o's, now I'm not getting in any w/o's. Maybe in a couple more days. You will look great for your vacation with the way you are banging out these w/o's!!!:p

Di:: Awww sorry you didn't sleep well. My DH didn't sleep well for 2 nights in a row when he was sick. :( TG for both our sakes he is getting better now! :rolleyes::p You are lucky to be able to WFH! What a nice perk! :)
 
Good Morning,

I managed to squeeze my workout in last night. I did 25 mins on the TM, was gonna do 15 mins on the bike but my batteries gave out 5 mins in so I did LBB standing work. Im trying to decide if I should do AB or Cycle max today....maybe cycle max and save AB for this weekend.

DS2 gained another 12 oz this week:eek: And I thought last week was his growth spurt! He is almost 10 lbs now.

Wendy** DS is in ice skating. I also need to put him in either gymnastics or swimming. He would love both but I can't put him in everything. Maybe I will give him the option. He is bit of a maniac and he wipes around on those skates like a mad man.

Laura** Anniversary deaths are always dreadful, hopefully you can remember the good times!

Diana** Yep...got my workout in! I needed to with all the chocolate I consumed yesterday. I tell ya...telling myself that I can't have something doesnt work for me!:confused:

Good Morning.

This morning's work out was supposed to be TBTS Upper again as per the rotation but I didn't want to do that one again so soon. Felt like mixing it up because I NEVER do that. LMAO :p So I chose to do 4DS: All Upper Body Weights Premix (67 mins) instead. IDK what I was thinkin! :eek: It took FOREVER and I think I am going to be in traction tmrw morning b/c of it! :p Besides those 2 minor details, it was a GREAT work out! ;)

Lori:: Good job getting your work out done last night. I can't ice skate to save my life. We tried taking our son ice skating a couple years ago and he was petrified. He cried the entire time so we left early and never went back. :( We were struggling to find swimming lessons for him (coz he was petrified of that too but he HAD to learn!) in the not so long ago past that were given at a time we could get him to them and thank goodness we had trouble finding something coz that very next summer he learned how to swim on his own so we saved ourselves some dough on that one! :D

Hi Ladies,

Still under the weather but hope to lift weights today. Cardio is still out of the question. I'm leaning towards Muscle Max right now.

I'm signing up for a sprint triathlon today, it's in June. Hopefully I can start training in another week.

Lori-Yay for getting your workout in. My boys were quite busy too so it was always good to keep them active. Since his dad plays hockey, skating is no brainer for him. Hopefully he will settle down a bit as he gets older...crossing my fingers for you.

Wendy-4DS UB is toughie, on top of having all your equipment and weights around you. My w/o area is a mess when I do that w/o! What do you think Wendy, should this past week be considered my week off and just pick up with week 4 again this weekend???

Laura-Hugs!! Both my parents passed the week of my bday and my sisters bday. We never forget.

Di:: I'm not sure how far into week 4 you got before you got sick but assuming you didn't get very far I would say definitely consider this your recovery, redo week 4 and then go right into weeks 5-6-7-8. A sprint tri? Wow! What made you decide to do that? :D Enjoy MM if you are able to do it today. Yup-my w/o area was a wreck by the time I was done with my w/o this morning too! :p

So all H### broke loose here ystdy - I ended up NOT getting in a workout .. in fact had several CABS when I got home .. CRAP .. just a horrible day!! Today it is NONSTOP in here - I did manage a run at the CC at lunch .. it was short but sweet and SWEATY ..

I have a feeling it will be a CAB night agian tonight .. plus DATE NIGHT :D

Lori - the little one is gaining good .. so your body should be loosing good .. LOL!!

After a hectic stressull day...i had a great date night....

Today i am gonna do Gameday..Asylum...we are going with friends out to eat then to the casino to play a bit....mayb we will win!

Tmrw will be trisets in full ..yikes..hope i dont have a large head..lol

Good afternoon...almost evening already! :eek:

Well last night was a mellow night...went out for the best pizza on earth and then came home and watched a couple of shows we had dvr'd over drinks.

This morning I did Low Impact Challenge (yes, as produced-ALL of it even though I fumbled through combo #4 like CRAZY!:confused::eek::rolleyes:), skipped the stretch and did Yoga Relax express premix #1. Felt good.:)

Then we took DS to see The Lorax in 3D at 1:00 (it was cute) and hit Costco and a couple other quick stores on the way home. Everything is unpacked and I'm relaxing with coffee....

I think a quick nap is on the agenda before getting dinner started. I had DH pick out a pork tenderloin recipe so I'll be posting it along with our opinnion of it on FB later on or tmrw so stay tuned!;)

After dinner I think we are going to rent an instant movie on net flix to watch...

Hi Ladies,

I'm feeling better today but still short on energy. Hopefully working out will improve my energy levels. I did Muscle Max on Friday so I could hit all the muscle groups. Used my new bands, oohhhh my they are tough!

DH and I met some friends for breakfast yesterday, it was so nice to get out of the house. Unfortunately the meal didn't sit well with me but I'm feeling better this morning.

This morning I wrote up this weeks schedule to get me back on track:
S-AT
M-UB trisets/bootcamp
T-Cardio
W-AB/ViPR
Th-Cardio/bootcamp
F-LB trisets
Sat-Start week 6 of the rotation

LIC is not a great calorie burner for me so I'll be subbing some of my favorites such as BM2, KPC, Intensity, Imax 3 etc.

Wendy-sounds like you had a fun family day yesterday!!! How was your dinner. Speaking of dinner, I need to get something going in the crockpot for tonight. It'll either be chicken or pork tenderloin.

Laura-hope you are enjoying the weekend!

Lori-how nice that you and DH got to enjoy a night out. When does DH leave for training? He should be pampering you now.:D

Allee-how are you spending the weekend?

Off to give AT a try, hope my lungs are up for it. If not, I'll switch to weights and re-do the rotation a bit.

Hi Girls,

Can't believe I havent checked in all weekend.

We had a nice meal out on Fri night and of course the baby didnt wake the whole time we were gone. Not that it mattered but if I were home he probably would have been hanging off of me the whole time:confused: Yesterday DH took DS1 for the day and I was home with the baby who wouldnt let me workout! I had to stop 3 times during afterburn and with 2 section remaining I called it quits. BUT my friend stopped by and watched the baby while I went for a quick 5 km outside:) Oh and on Fri I did Cycle max and today was PUB and a 30 mins hilly walk on the TM. My legs are sore and Im not sure from which workout. CM, the run or AB. My legs usually get sore after my first run outside.

Diana** I need to come up with a weekly rotation that consist of a upper, a lower, a circuit and just cardio days.

Wendy** I am going to try a new recipe tonight as well. Im so tired of eating the same stuff and its getting worse b/c there are so many things I cant eat.

Laura** Hope your enjoying your weekend!

Hi Ladies,

I'm finally feeling better...yay me! I managed Athletic Training today but had to take several breaks, but I did it. I think I like this w/o better than AfterBurn.

I've prepared my breakfasts and lunches for the week so I'm all set for clean eating! I wasn't in the office at all last week. I still need to pack up my laptop and work stuff and get it loaded in the car.

Off to finish up my stuff. BBIAM!!

I left out the GOOD on purpose. Diana is getting better so now I guess it's MY turn to get sick! :mad: I am not running a fever or coughing or anything. It's all in my head-runny, congested, pressure, yuck! I'm not sure what will happen. I just pray it doesn't turn into a sinus infection cause that's kinda what it feels like it could be heading towards. :(

That being said I did a mellow work out y'day. AfterBurn was on the schedule as my final work out before my recovery week began but I felt it wise to nixx it. I did Turbo Barre instead-all but the Ballet Barre Conditioning Drills (so about 45 mins) and then did Yoga Relax Premix #2.

Today is my rest day but as long as whatever is going on in my head doesn't get me to the point where I am not working out, my plan is to do the Ballet Barre part of Turbo Barre on Tuesday.

Diana:: Glad you are feeling better!:) Nice schedule you worked out for yourself to catch up on your missed work outs! Enjoy! The pork dinner on saturday night as good. I finally posted it on FB at some point y'day!

Laura:: How was your weekend? Win at the casino? My mom hit this weekend...AGAIN! She hit a couple weeks ago! She usually never wins! She's ecstatic!:D How about those work outs? Did any hang overs get in their way? ;)

Lori:: Oh how I remember the days of disjointed, interrupted and terribly frustrating work outs due to a baby who won't stop fussing! :eek: That was nice of your friends though to watch him for you so that you could get out for a run! So what new recipe did you end up trying?

At least is for me! I'm not a 100% yet but feel I can workout and be fine. Today will be UB trisets A.M. and bootcamp P.M. My weight is up 4# from the last time I weighed about a week ago. I'm going to call it water weight from the meds I've been on.:D

I had a mammogram last week since I was in the imaging center. The tech asked me if I had lost weight...which I have not. She said I had less breast tissue and more muscle than my last years mammo. Not sure how I feel about that. Why can't that happen for my backside?:mad:

Wendy-Hope I didn't give you anything.:D Seriously, hope it doesn't get any worse and that you feel better soon.

Diana:: How did UB Trisets go? Was it your first time doing that work out? I hear ya! Unfortunately fat tends to come off the places you DON'T want to lose it first. Trust me, my chest is the first to go as well! :rolleyes: Remember though that all the tech looked at was your chest so that's all she could comment on. It doesn't mean that you didn't lose fat else where! You are just being critical of yourself...as we all tend to be of ourselves! :eek:

Well - my Baby Buster is really sick - long story short .. I thought he was going into renal or cong. heart failure .. he is at the vet now - short of long of it is his numbers are better than expected - we are hoping it is just severe kidney/bladder infection - but they called back and now he is throwing up .. not tolerating meds :( I am to call back in a few and see how is doing now! Say a prayer my baby is ok! He is old for his breed and that day is coming - but NOT YET please!!! :(:( I have a pounding head - messed up stomach - and on verge of tears!

Not sure what today will bring - exercise or anythign wise!

Wendy - we did NOT win at the casino .. but we had a GREAT time!!!! it was packed too! sorry you are getting sick!

Di - take the less fat more muscle as a compliment!!!

Good Morning:)

Yesterday was a hectic day b/c it was a snow day so my neices were here. I had 4 kids all day and the baby only took cat naps:confused: He didnt settle until 11 last night. I knew once he gave in e would be out for the count and he didnt get up until 4;30. Last night I managed to do 30 mins on the TM and 15 on the bike. Im thinking about a terminator workout today.....lets see how my plan goes:rolleyes:

I havent been giving this weight loss a honest effort either. Ive been picking a lot....I have to stop or the sacle will never budge. I keep hovering around the same weight:( Ugh! Like last night I worked out and then had a cookie! So what was the point in that?

Diana** Glad to hear you are feeling better! How was tri sets? Is it a good burner? I havent done that one yet. I probably should have tried it instead of PUB. I was going to do the March rotation but Im not sure what I did with my body blast set. I had it on VHS so I wouldnt be able to do it anyway with a VHS player:confused: I looked at buying the dvds but if I dont use them anymore then I used the tapes, there is no point.

Wendy** How are you feeling now? Hope it was nothing!

Laura** How is your baby today??? Hope everything is ok. Its never fun when they get old!
