Diana:: Sorry you have to keep the boot on but atleast they washed your foot for you!!! LOL-yeah you would think there is something wrong with us the way people come n go from our group! :p It's not us though. It's definitely THEM! We are just too darned cool for them! :cool::cool::cool: That's what it is!!! :D
 
Good Morning Ladies!

This morning was Day 4 of the Challenge! It was a 12 min interval work out. 12 rounds @ 10r/50w and made up of 4 exercises so each one was done 3x. Good stuff. I followed it up with a BR called Ab-Tastic which is 20 knee raises on the dip station followed by a 4 min interval of jumping rope broken down into 8 rounds of 10r/20w. Work out called for you to do this 5x. I did it 3x as it's what I had time for. More good stuff! I just LOVE BR! :D

Morning Girlies ..

I was in all day meeting ystdy ..{ sigh } ... I did P90x2 YOGA ystdy morning tho :confused: ok .. I need to do yoga more often - yikes i have lost some flexibility - DOMS: entire arms, shoulders, core, and BUTT mainly!!! :confused: yowza!! Today is a rest day for me - well date night ;) so some FUN calories will be burned!!

Wendy - ME ME ME ME ME .. I am interested in a rotation of STS and LiiT ... my FL friend is starting it on Monday - and I am missing my weights .. and since phase 1 of P90x2 is NOT what I thought it was .. I think that rotation is just what the dr ordered!! Of course mine will be modified to fit my class schedule .. and I want to throw in some P90x2 stuff .. the core and yoga was just AWESOME .. but think STS is just more complete workout that I need for muscle definition!

Di - GEESH - another set back ... booooooo .. I am sorry!!! did you bang your foot after the unwrapping??? or while it was wrapped .. poor thing ... hope recovery is better this round .. but take it easy and dont push it too much!!!

Lori - I cant blv you worked out ystdy .. crazy girl .. the poor baby prbly thought WTH is going on??? LOLOL .. maybe it wont be too long now!!!

Hello to Allee!

OK .. so today is TGIF - the Ntl Championship game is MONDAY ... our RIVALS Al play LSU ... Al is so danged cocky (and are not conference winners and to me shouldnt be playing in the championship game) ... I am wearing an LSU shirt today ... :p.. and boy people dont like that AT ALL .. LOLOLOL!!!

Looking forward to the weekend ... plan on exercising .. and me and DH may hit the casino again!!!! :) OK ..better run .. have a great day .. and a wonderful SWEATY weekend ... ;)
 
Laura:: Hey! I thought you were quitting teaching at the gym so you could BR (and now apparently STS/LIS!) with me!!!!!:D Have fun burning calories and going to the casino this weekeend! I am doing a girls night tonight with my BF and 2 other girls and then sat/sun I will spend with DH and DS. :)
 
Hi Ladies,

This morning I did shoulders and biceps from GS BSB, it was all I had time for. I've been using the GS series for past few weeks so I'm going to switch it up and use 4DS for the next couple weeks. They are shorter weight w/o's which will also give me time to hit abs more often.

Wendy-You've got me hooked on BR and I can't do the w/o's right now.:confused: They would fit nicely with the time frame I have to work out in...very limited with the girls here. Glad everything is going well for you!:D

Laura-Good to know the X2 yoga w/o's are good. I haven't tried them yet since I would only be able to balance on 1 leg...lol... and not the other. Have a fun weekend!

Wendy/Laura-I just ordered the BR dip station!:):):) I happened across it for 79.95...and just ordered. It should arrive sometime next week! I can actually use this apparatus for reverse pushups, ab work, dips etc. while my foot is healing.

Dh and i did date night and the casino last night..it was fun...slept late..and about to go for a run...have not done outdoor trail run in a while..we have a dang wild hog problem..hoping i dont see one...yikes..gonna come back some abs ..dips...reverse pullups ,..onthe br station...

Wendy..yup gonna hang up my teaching sneakers at the end of jan. So will only have to modify my rotation thru this month..then i am free and will join u in a full rotation.yayayayaya

Today I did 4DS C&B, Coremax 3, 3X10-65# deadlifts and 100-25# kb swings.

I received an email from BodyMedia and they have lowered the price of their membership. Maybe in a couple months I can reactivate my membership!!!

Laura-hope you didn't see any wild hogs on your run, scary.

Wendy-What do you have planned today?

Lori-sounds like you are nesting and it must be getting closer to delivery for you!;)

Hi Ladies,

Looks like everyone must be busy this weekend. Since I can't drive...I'm stuck at home and pretty tired of having to rely on others to get me around.:mad: I hope to get on of my DS's to take me to Kohl's, Target and Penneys today. I'm looking for new winter coats for the girls and there should be some good sales going on.

My workout today was 4DS Biceps & Triceps plus Abs from LL. I attempted Leaner Legs but once the barbell weight was on my shoulders I was very unstable. I'm sure it's due to the post op shoe being taller than my tennis shoe and my weight on the outside of my bad foot. I have discovered that I can work hamstrings, glutes and inner thighs so will be working those muscles every few days.

Good Morning!

Saturday: Day 5 of the BR Challenge + KCM SS shoulders/legs premix.

Sunday: Jump Rope intervalled with obliques on dip station for 10 mins + 10 mins of steady state jump rope.

Today: 20 minutes of jump rope intervalled with mountain climbers, jumping jacks, burpees.

Tomorrow: BR Challenge is back!!!! :D

Diana:: Glad you are discovering more work outs you can do safely while you recover from surgery. What's body media?? Sorry I wasn't around to chat this weekend. Busy busy with DH and DS all weekend!

Laura:: OMG yay! Soooo excited to do a rotation with you that teaching won't get in the way of! I considered getting my group class cert but this is exactly why I didn't. Didn't want to resent it for messing with what I PERSONALLY wanted to do work out wise!

hello to all ..

my run SAT was longer than I anticipated .. ran about 8 miles .. 1 1/2 hours ... :confused:.. oh well it was a NICE one .. no hogs .. but I did jump 2 deer!!! stayed out late SAT .. had large head SUN .. and SORE :eek: awwww lawwwwd I was sore!!! the hammies and butt .. yeeeoooowza!!!

Today - back to work - and class (on countdown tho) - going to do circuit class tonight .. I have been telling my regulars one by one .. and they are not happy .. they understand .. but are not happy about it - they all have collectively said they would not be member of that gym if I wasnt there ... and the only thing comparable to my class is Crossfit .. so I expect my hard core students to be going over there .. (heck I might do that myself) LOL

Wendy - when are you starting the new rotation? woot woot .. I am ready ..

Di - some tuff workouts for someone who has a boot on foot!!!! LOL

Tonight is circuit class - tmrw will be plyo class - WED I have my friend w/"C" GGT for her b-day :D and THUR I have a meeting .. plan on running afterwards!

Laura:: My anticipated LIS/STS rotation start date is Feburary 4th which is a Saturday so long as I am finished with BR by then and have managed a rest day as well. :p I hear you on the sore buns! OMG! :eek: Saturday's BR did a number on my arse! It STILL hurts!!!!!:eek: Have fun at your friend's B'day gtg. I am sure your last day teaching class will be bittersweet. Going on termporary hiatus from teaching and plan to find another job at some point or are you officially "retiring" from it?

Well 100% of my students all have said they felt it coming - the place is inexcusable - and they all hate that I am not teaching - but at the same time understand the place is just filthy - and the people dont know how to run a biz and know I really dont have a choice! They all swear they are going to help me find somewhere ... but the only fitness place that has acess to a room .. it is occupied by ZUMBA teachers .. :mad: .. soooooo IDK .. after talking w/SIL and VBF ... I think it is time to take some time for myself .. be free to do MY workouts the way I want to .. keep eyes and ears open .. but see how I like being free for a while ...

and as my DH said .. take this time to myself .. and if I still LONG to teach .. then we will look seriously at buying a bldng and renovating .. but that is a LOT to take on .. sooooooo ... that will be in future if I want to go that route ..

I just got word that another one of my students (that was not there last week) .. the stupid witch that is running it now .. has PI$$ED her off too .. :mad::mad: WTH????? and she has been with me for dang .. 25 years .. WOW ... hell .. TONIGHT MIGHT BE MY LAST NIGHT AT THIS RATE >>> :mad::mad::mad:
 
Hi ladies,

This morning I managed 4DS Shoulders and core, plus 100-25# KB Swings!

I accidentally got my bad foot wet this morning and will need to have DH change the bandage tonight....oops. I'm sure he's not going to be happy about that. I wrapped in one of those produce bags but I guess it's not waterproof. Oh well, not sure what else to do since I don't want to pay for a Dr. visit to have them re-dress and bandage.

My upper body is looking pretty good but I'm losing all the definition in my legs. :mad: Hopefully it won't take too long to see some results once I can start doing more leg work.

Laura-Goodness, sorry about the bad experience with the gym you are working in. It sounds like it is probably a good time to give yourself a break and research alternatives if that's what you decide. Wow, 8 1/2 miles is awesome considering you haven't been running on a regular basis!!!:D

Wendy-No worries, I'm stuck at home since I can't drive and have been spending way too much on FB and the computer in generel. BodyMedia is the bodybugg (gowearfit) manufacturer that has a monthly fee to upload your data to their website. I let my membership expire but with the lowered fee may be able to re-up for the summer. I need to check the shipping notices and see if my dip station is on the way!

Diana:: Whoopsie! Sorry about the wet foot! I always wondered how realistic it was to keep it totally dry!? :confused::rolleyes: That's right-Now I remember Body Media. I never bought a Body Bugg though I sure was tempted! Great work out! Sorry about your legs but I am sure they will bounce back pretty quickly! :) I adore the dip station! Can't wait til you get it and can try it out!!! Did you order the ultimate dip station stright from their web site or a different brand?

Di ... you are gonna love the dip station!!!! :D ya it was a good run .. I impressed myself .. LOL ... part of the distance was pure HAVE TO tho .. i went on land I have never been on .. and didnt realize how far i had ran .. and then when i turned around to go home thought OH CRAP I UNDERESTIMATED the distance .. oopps .. but it was crazy good workout .. my core even was sore from it!!!

Wendy ... my core is finally not sore .. just in time to do it all again tonight .. ya .. wish me luck tonight .. we will see how it goes!!

Rest day for me today. Overdue. Haven't taken one since last saturday (New Year's Eve)!!! :eek:

Yep Laura, my obliques are so sore that they kept me awake for a while in the middle of the night coz it hurt to move in bed!:eek:

TUE morning ladies!

well .. great class last night .. I am twingy sore all over .. the good kind ;) had one new student .. still a SLIM class ... the owner was nicer than usual .. wondering if she hasnt heard something!!! Tonight is going to be mish mosh class ... thinking weights, plyo, weight plyo, core, plank and pushup torture! :eek:

WELL .. our rivals won the National Championship :mad::mad::mad::mad: :(:(:(:( good for our state of Alabama ... but boooooooo i have to listen to their arrogant crap for another YEAR!! :mad::mad::mad: it is horrible here .. there are no words to describe the conditions I have to tolerate .. the crap they are dishing out to us .. heck they act like they BEAT US ..:mad:

Wendy - enjoy your rest day .. yes you needed one ....

Di - I took my measurements for the p90x2 .. OMG .. i have LOST inches in my arms :( (gotta get back on STS) .. legs and butt are the same ... WAIST is bigger :(:(:( hoping that is just the holiday extra 3 pounds I put on .. :mad:
