Damage Control...Hump Day!

Good Morning!

I have about 14mins to checkin:confused: When I woke up I had a text message from my manager saying my boss was going to be here at 9. I suppose I should be there for their arrival;) Ugh! They have never met the other girl, they always come on my shift.

I got a quick run and bike ride in last night, some abs and UB as well. Just something to say that I did something:eek:

DH was talking to the therapist yesterday afternoon(she came into the sports store) and she basically told him that DS doesn't fall into a category of any age. Usually when they are behind they will decide if they are acting like a 2 yr old and 3 yr old and so on. But DS isn't really falling into any age group. He is advanced in some areas and behind in others.

Wendy** Thanks for your kind/wise words;):D I do jump the gun AND I get stressed out. You could see it on my face by yesterday lunch time. After I put dinner in the oven DS and I curled up in the recliner and while he watched toy story 3, I doozed off. I needed it! Enjoy your workout!!

Diana** Sounds like you are enjoying your meltdown class!!! That's awesome. Hope you slept better last night.

Laura** We wondered the same thing about that time he was sick, I guess we will have to ask.....Sounds like you had some great classes! Maybe I should shadow you:D

I MIGHT BBL! This BOSS coming is throwing a major wrench into my day!:p

Lori:)

So for Power Hour this morning I mixed it up. I did ALL legs first. Followed squats with lunges right away then I went to shoulders then biceps and triceps and finally chest and last but not least...my favorite...back! I increased my weight on almost everything but intentionally went a little bit lighter on lunges because I did them right after squats. For upper body I was trying to get my weaker muscles done first and as a result I was able to accomplish what I could NOT have if I had done them in the traditional order. For example...I successfully went heavier with the last shoulder exercise and was able to do biceps all the way to the end with the weight I used last time to start with. Last time I had to lighten up for the second set but not this time! I omitted push ups for time but went a goodly amount heavier for the rest of the chest work. YEOWZA! Great work out! I was wiped when I was done and my arms were still shaking 30 minutes later while trying to type on my laptop at home! :D

Lori:: I hope what I wrote eased your mind atleast a little bit. Anywho, I read in FB about your bike ride WHILE EATING TWIZZLERS!?!?!:p LOL Toy Story is awesome. I loved all 3 movies. Saw the 3rd one in 3D even!

Good Morning Ladies,

I slept much better last night. Yesterday I did DWP as this workout is more friendly on my bad knee. You wouldn't think so, but it really is.

This morning will be STS Back and Biceps. I'm repeating last weeks w/o's as the weight was quite heavy so I want to do them each for 2 weeks (as designed) before moving on. Having said that, I'm thinking of trying to change up my rotation a bit to get more cardio and legs. After my surgery I can still do UB, but cardio and legs will be no no for about 6 weeks or so.

I'm working from home today and plan on going to a class tonight at the rec ctr called Ultimate Fitness. We usually do a circuit of cardio and weights/bands. Sometimes they do all the cardio first and then weights/shaping. I haven't taken this class in eons. I need to get more cardio in now, hopefully my foot doesn't start hurting too much.

Wendy-you are so creative, hitting the muscles in a different order is always a good thing. Those biceps are awful, I think I always go down in weight for the 2nd set of curls! You Rock!!!

Lori-Hugs girl. ITA with Wendy and Laura. DS is making progress with his speech which is a good thing. Also, finding out if there is a problem is a good thing because then it can be treated. Kids all learn at their own pace anyway and trying to fit them into a "category" could be quite difficult at his age. Nice w/o yesterday, finally you get to do what you want to do!

Jacque-Woo Hoo, you got your w/o in!!!! Definitely fight for your comp time. I had an issue one time, but they gave in and gave it to me. It was with a new supervisor who didn't really know how it was handled by our company since it's kind of an unwritten policy.

Laura-I'm sure you're class will love the break next week. Just make sure they are prepared for the following week of Laura's torture! Way to go Auburn!!! Your team is doing amazing this year!

Diana:: Great job on DWP and so happy it was nicer for your foot! I can't decide which is harder-DWP or 40/20. DWP seems easier at first but the 2nd half kicks my azz somethin' fierce! So you are doing the "6 month rotation" version of Meso 2 then since you are repeating each work out 2x. I like that plan. Um...if you heard how light my BB was for biceps this morning you would take back the "YOU ROCK" part. :p It was a definite challenge for me though. I was seeing stars  but I finished it! :) Biceps are definitely my weakest link! Good idea to hit the legs a bit harder pre-surgery, btw!

Jillian has a new ab dvd coming out that I love the looks of so I am going to pre-order it from Amazon for $9.99 today. Collage will be charging $14.99 when it's released. Its 2 work outs of about 30 minutes each. One is harder then the other. Both are circuit style with core focused cardio intermixed with ab exercises. It utilizes both standing and floor exercises. I am not usually one for an ab w/o's that are longer then maybe 10 mins but this is very different so I am quite intrigued! :)

Quiet here today. I guess I will just continue to talk to myself then. :p

So I have me a plan. I got my hands on P90X/Insanity hybrid that I liked and then played with it so that I LOVED it!

I will give myself about 4 weeks to play with 3 of the four new Cathe's (all but Lower Body Blast) and then I will dive into the hybrid rotation which I have modified to include Lower Body Blast! You didn't think I'd leave it out completely, did you? ;)

If my calculations are correct, I will probably begin the hybrid the week prior to Christmas.:D
