Damage Control....Finally Friday!!!

Good Morning to my Girlies! :D

Jacque: My mom has always gotten along with her bosses...even the ones she hasn't liked very much :p...just based on the fact that she is so dedicated and gets the job done. She's been with the same company for about 30 years so that's a lot of bosses! :D Ooooh you are making my mouth water over the plyo legs in STS! Wish I could buy those work outs separately! ;)

So today it's Lean Circuit #1 after work. Not sure if I'll add cardio to it or not. I will figure it out when the time comes...

Guess that's all for now but I'll be back!

Hey Girlies :D,

So glad its Friday!!! Been uber busy at work, its actually been going pretty good. I managed Imax 2 yesterday morning and wore my AOM (America on the move) pedometer all day. For the AOM program we count our steps every day for 3 days to get a baseline and then try to improve that number. Fortunately for me, step w/o are 236 steps/min-and that counts towards my total steps.

Since I didn't get lowmax in when I had planned, I'll do that this morning. I knew my time was limited the other day so I threw in cardio fusion and had a blast for about 48 mins!

I bit the bullet and upgraded to fitday premium so I could sync my accts, and its not working. I emailed customer support so hopefully they emailed me an answer. If I cannot get this to work I will be asking for a full refund.

The basement is dried out but it smells musty! Next week is our Big Trash day so we're going to haul all of our junk out of the basement and DH said we may have to replace the smelly carpet.

Wendy-You'll have to tell me how you like the Lean phase. I never got to this phase but they looked really intrigueing on the previews. I've decided to ask for a 30lb KB for mother's day. Do you think that's heavy enough for swings?

Jacque-I did one of the plyo leg w/o's and loved it. I'll probably be doing Squat Rack and my second leg w/o for the each week will be plyo legs. I'm looking for a miracle here! You are one dedicated employee. Hopefully your boss recognizes your dedication and pays you accordingly.

Jen-Hope the kids are having fun during their spring break. Can't believe your back to running too. I dreamed about running last night and considered going for a run this morning in the nice cool weather....until I got out of bed and was already limping-dang my feet!

Laura-You are a w/o maniac. I need to come to some of your classes and whip myself into shape! You are such a motivator too!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!

HAPPY FRIDAY IT IS ! ! !

Good morning ladies !

Checking in quickly before I get on to my "chores" today. SIL coming over for her first home hair coloring . . . I am so cheap I've probably only been to a hairdresser a dozen times in my life. She is paying $120 every 4 or 5 weeks and I told her it would be about $12 for a couple of colorings by buying at the beauty supply store and doing it herself. It is basically just a touch up - we both stay our "natural" color (minus the now natural greying hairs !) so it is pretty quick.

Wendy - I've been at my company for 10 years and am not sure I want to be in the same position for another 20. I'd like to move up the ladder at least another step and it won't happen where I'm at. Plus I am stagnant and I don't like not improving or learning new things. Perhaps Cathe will realize that a set of Plyo Legs would be a great best seller ! I tell you there are wonderful - like a circuit type workout where you do a weight exercise then a plyo and repeat like 13 times (I think I counted 26 last night). Hope work went well.

Diana - sorry it's been so busy for you at work - I think I know how you feel.;) I think I'm past the worst of it for now at least. Hope you are too. Hope the fitday saga gets resolved to your benefit. Such a bummer when programs don't work like you think they will. So do tell when you and your group figure out your avg # of steps. They say to aim for 10,000 and I'll be interested to hear how that fits in with most people's day.

Will most likely be doing an IMax or a TM run today - depends on what is on TV when I get ready to workout later today.

BBL since I'm not at work ! :p

Hey Ladies,

Somehow I caught Wendy's exercise ADD this morning. After a couple cups of coffee I felt like going for a run. Nothing stellar, but a run outside none the less. I ran 3.3 miles in 33 minutes, nothing to brag about time wise, but I did drag my behind outside and get some running in.

I need to talk it over with DH but would really like to join the Tri training class. It meets from 8-9 pm on T/TH. The good thing about it being so late is that it wouldn't interfere with me getting Jerod to or from baseball practice. The down side is that I would be at the rec ctr t/w/th and I'm not DH would like that too much. Our AOM weigh ins are on the Wed and our group is planning on staying and working out.

One of the girls found this awesome w/o. I think we are going to try to go as a group. Is at one of our outdoor concert venues and the workouts are free. Check this out: http://www.redrocksfitness.com/

I ended up getting 14,518 steps yesterday. 12,980 steps from Imax 2, and only 1,538 from walking. This morning's run was good for 6,237 steps.

Jacque-have fun with home colorings. I've been at my company for 19yrs and should really look for new career. I'm comfortable here, have pretty good benefits, flexible hours, can work from home when needed etc. Love the plyo legs too!!!

Good afternoon ladies!

Just a quick drive-by this afternoon because I've been running around with the kids today, on their last day of spring vaca, and now have to jet to get some clothes packed for them before their dad picks them up.

No workout to speak of just yet, but hope to head out for a run after they leave. The weather is absolutely gorgeous here today, and I'd really like to take advantage of it. Will bbl to report~

Hi Ladies.

Lean Circuit 1 is complete and I am in love all over again! Chalene is NUTS! LOL We were doing tricep kickbacks in a plank position for 12 reps per arm!:eek::eek: If you think it sounds easy, just try it some time! LOL We had our legs spread for a stronger base but still! OH MY GOD!!!! I was shaking!!!!!

We are having burgers/dogs on the grill for dinner tonight. I'm having a 90% lean ground beef burger with baked sweet potato fries and will probably either go bunless or eat the burger on wheat bread. The boys will have regular 80% burgers/dogs and regular fries made in oil on the stove. Lucky stiffs! :p

Jen: Hope you have a good run today! Any fun (or romantic ;)) plans for the weekend while the kids are away? :)

Diana: Happy to hear you are seriously considering the tri-training! The class only goes on for a limited amount of time so I wouldn't worry too much about the time missed with DH. It'll be over before ya know it! I hope you take it. :) LOL about getting a case of ADD! :p A 30 pound KB is plenty heavy for swings!!!!

Jacque: I am cheap with my hair too so you are not alone. LOL My mom has gone as far as she can with her company too but she is now looking to retire so she's not worried about moving any higher. If you feel stuck and stagnant then looking else where for other options may be a good idea for you. Good luck with that whenever you decide to move forward with it!

Alrighty, gotta go for now but I'll be back l8r I think!

Ciao!
