Hi Girls.

I'm a bit tired today but no worse for the wear otherwise. We had fun last night. I had a couple glasses of wine with dinner and a couple of beers at the club. I ordered a chicken sandwich for dinner with fries. I ate only half of the sandwich but had many fries as they were REALLY good. I can usually resist fries no problem so I don't know what was up with that!?:confused: Oh well. I did not overeat atleast. I was just full when I stopped so I don't feel too badly about it. I know when I eat too much cause then I'm not in the mood to have a few drinks and I enjoyed the beers I had. :D

Ang: So what were the results of this round of the X? I know they weren't as drastic as before but that should be expected unless you lost everything you worked for during a previous round (like me :mad:) but we know you didn't do that. :) I am a leetle confused with a question you asked me...you were talking about kettlebell work outs and said you might pick up a work out you saw in a store and then said "I know people a lot of people don't care for but you seem to like it..." What were you referring to? :)

Jacque: I like KB Goddess for it's versatility. I've never been a stickler for music, etc so even though the lack of music was a little wierd for me at first, I got used to it quickly. Just so you know for any future purchases you might decide to make: Any of the kb work outs I have use music strictly for background noise, not for choreography purposes. KB work outs are not choreographed that way. HTH! :)

I thought I'd have more personals to catch up on but it was pretty quiet in here y'day.

Today is supposed to be a rest day. If I can keep busy with other things then I will adhere to it, otherwise, maybe not. :p I'm beginning week 3 of the rotation already and it calls for PUB in full so I may decide to belt it out if I have time before we head out this afternoon. Perhaps I'll take a rest day this week instead. We'll see. :)
 
I'm back to post the rest of my eats from y'day (besides dinner) and what I've eaten this morning.....

The last thing I posted was lunch. In mid afternoon I ate a turkey sandwich with ff cheese on ww bread with some hummus on it instead of mayo. YUMMY! I also had a small banana and a pria bar to make sure I wasn't going to be starving at dinner. It worked perfectly. Last night when we got home I was hungry so I toasted up a mini-bagel (whole wheat) and ate it with some hummus on it. This morning when I got up I had a small banana and am now eating oatmeal with 1/2 sc protein powder and some splenda in it. We are going to my FIL's S/O's house for a visit and dinner this afternoon so who knows what dinner will be but I will try my hardest to keep it under control. ;)

Angie - I was lucky to have inhereted the 'artsy/craftsy' gene from my mother and love to play. I can spend way more at Michael's than at Sports Authority, Macy's or Costco !:eek: It is such a bummer that I rarely have time now that I am working. Adored the much treasured days that I was a SAHM for 13 years. Sharks lost their game in OT - not a great showing for them, but hey, who can play their best game every single time.

Wendy - I think Angie was speaking of Iron Core Way - the only $15 KB W/O's I can think of. I think you are right on about your assessment of the KB w/o's and guess that I am just really used to Cathe and not the basic routine type of workouts. Alwyn got to me after a while too. Maybe I can get there some day . . .:confused:

Great job on the eats and keeping in control. I am not doing well - total carb cravings these days and giving in to them. Perhaps the oatmeal in the AM will work those out - it used to keep them away if I started the day with a healthy dose of oatmeal carbs. Time to revert. Workout yesterday didn't happen and though I feel like I am whining again, my back is sore from lifting the wood that I bought at Lowe's yesterday. Iced already, will see if I can be good and work it out a bit later.

Off to get working on the to do's again. Did do a tad bit of Xmas shopping y'day while running errands so feel good about that. Just need to pick up a few little things for everyone so that should be easy.

Hi Ladies,

I've been busy creating a budget, not fun at all. We have a couple of bills that we'd like to get paid off sooner than later so that's what prompted the budgeting. The hard part will actually be plugging in all the monthly actuals, differences and reviewing for the next month. It sure sounds like a lot of work but DH and I are going to give it a try.

I did 4DS legs yesterday. Today I need to get in whatever the upper body wt work the rotation calls for and KPC. Tomorrow I plan to do Imax 3 in the morning. The CEO of my company is having a luncheon for all his employee volunteers. I don't really think I can say no to that. I volunteered at a food bank.

I have a business meeting this afternoon and then the Bronco game is on after that. Wish me luck!!

So far today I've had my standard breakfast. I will be getting to the grocery store sometime today.

Not sure if I'll get a chance to get back here today or not. Hope you all have a great day, exercise and eat wisely!
