Hi Girls.

Well I've got some amazing news....First of all, no DOMS from GSL!!!! Secondly, I lost 1/2 a pound!!!! :D

Today's work out is the 3 set upper body premix from PP. OUCH! That's gonna H-U-R-T!!!! :eek: I think I'm gonna split it up and do some this morning and some this afternoon. :)

So I made plans with a friend of mine to hang out tonight. She asked if we would have dinner together. I left it up to her and she wants to. :eek: Wish me luck that I choose my meal wisely! :confused: I think I may suggest going to Applebee's. They have a dish on the WW menu that I enjoy. :)

Need to post the eats.

For dinner y'day I made talapia again. I had it on a sandwich again because I made my family pasta that I didn't want. We all had peas with it.

This morning I ate a banana b4 my work out and had a plain protein shake with milk and 1 sc powder in it after my work out. We only had whole milk in the house and I can't drink a shake made from just water (BLECH!) so I used half water and half milk to cut the fat. I had oatmeal made with water and a bit of natural pb for breakfast.

I did about 1/2 of my work out this morning and will finish it this afternoon. I am also bringing clothes in hopes of getting in a short run right after work if I feel up to it. Not sure about it though as I woke up at 3am and had trouble getting back to sleep so I might be too tired but we'll see.

Gotta finish gettin' ready for work and school now but I'll BBL!:)

Good morning Wendy and all who follow!

WAY TO GO on the 1/2 lb. Wendy!!

Day 3 of the rotation today: Shoulders. It was short but nasty. I'll definitely be feeling that tomorrow! Still have DOMS from Monday. I guess I'll just keep layering them on ;)

I had Eggbeaters and spinach this morning, as well as Fiber One and FF milk. Made a salad with tuna for lunch, and grabbed one of the mini pizzas I made last night for snacks. Tonights dinner is TBD.

I've had a head cold coming on since Sunday, and it seems to have finally hit in full force as of this morning. I'll be doped up on DayQuil all day. ***Just a warning if my posts seems to ramble***

Gotta work but will BBS~

Morning Ladies ...

Men chickened out on class again :confused: but it was a good one .. left in one quivering sweaty mess. DOMs in my shoulders - chest - and core!

eats: ystdy snack was 3 p-nut butter crackers :eek: (didnt have fruit on hand) - supper was a small bowl of chili w/one dollop of sour cream and a little cheddar cheese grated on top! this morning was 2 boiled eggs (forgot to say I only eat the whites my babies get the yoke) - snack: 3 pnut butter crackers - not sure on lunch .. will be a lean quisine or a grilled chicken wrap!

Wendy ... congrats on the 1/2 pound .. good luck tonight w/outting w/friends .. I also have a visit planned w/VBF and our friend w/cancer .. we are helping her put up her Christmas decorations and I am bringing PIZZA :eek::D and there will be a few CABS consumed ..

Jen .. hate you have a head cold - my sinuses are a year round battle! AND of all things .. I feel that I have a kidney stone coming on :confused: I feel it .. and not "emptying" so it is coming (prbly will hit this weekend when I am wanting to get our Christmas tree up...gggggrrrrr) Feel better!!

Ang .. check out Cabelas.com .. if you have deer hunters they have a good sale going on .. and I got some good deals!!!

Hello to all that follow .. we are swamped again .. 3rd of the month checks dropped AGAIN .. looks like today is going to be a REST day ... errands at lunch .. helping friend w/Christmas decorations after work .. blowing the diet .. PIZZA and CABS after work .. LOL! OH WELL I wont pig out .. just have a slice or two :eek: .. will make up for it tommorrow!!!

Laura, I knew the guys would chicken out! Wimps. Sorry to hear about the potential kidney stone! That's awful. My BF gets them occasionally, and though I've never had one myself, I see how painful it is for him. Drink lots of water.

Have fun with your GF's tonight. A little indulgence isn't going to hurt you. Everything in moderation, right?

Ugh...I am seriously suffering with this headcold. I'm going to look like Rudolph by week's end. And I have creditor's meetings all day on Friday, meeting face to face with debtors and their attorneys all day. Niiiice :rolleyes:

I'm posting to take my mind off this chocolate craving...DO WANT CHOCOLATE....ARGH!!!! And there is a basket full just down the hall....but I'm not going to do it!! I don't even know why I want it, 'cuz I can't taste a thing.

Ugh. Back to work...I'm bored silly today.

Hi Ladies,

I was so hungry yesterday. I actually ate 2 chicken breasts over a bit pasta for dinner last night. I decided the second chicken breast would be better than eating tons of junk food. I bought some 60% cocoa chocolate last night and had one square. (thanks for the suggestions Angie & Wendy). I think I was so hungry and tired last night from my 3 w/o's on Monday.

This morning was 4DS shoulders (x2)!! It was a real burner for sure. I have some nice dom's in the legs and chest. Hopefully I can make it to the gym for some sprints on the track or maybe even an elliptical w/o.

I've been really hungry today too. So far I've had my reg brkst of fiber one, prot pwd, banana & almond milk. I've also had a packet of high fiber oatmeal and a bora bora bar and I'm still hungry. I'm making myself wait until after I workout to eat. I didn't bring my lunch so will have to make a subway run after the gym.

Wendy-Your upper body's gonna be sore along with the rest of us. Have a fun night out! I'm not too worried about you eating bad, you never do.

Jen-my shoulder will definitely be sore tomorrow. Hope you feel better soon.

Laura-You get a reprieve since you are helping out a friend in need. Enjoy decorating and visiting with all of your friends.

Let's see...food....

I posted through breakfast so my snack at work was 2 fold. First I had a dry turkey sandwich on ww bread and then I had some grapes, a couple dried apricots and some dried cranberries. I ate more as I planned to run after my shift was over and needed the energy. Unfortunately when I tried to run something in my leg was really hurting me so I had to give it up. :(

On a brighter note-when I got home I finished up my weight work out and then had 1/2 a talapia sandwich. DH was supposed to take the last piece of fish for lunch today. He left it home by accident so he loses! :p

I'll probably have something else to eat before I head out later for dinner. I don't want to be starving.....

Hey ladies,

I made it to the rec ctr for a short but intense HIIT w/o. I ran 7 laps to warm up (1/2 mile). Then I sprinted the length of the indoor track and walked the width. repeated 8 times then did weighted jump squats on the bose using a 6lb med ball. Then went back to sprints, jump squats and finished up with some ab work. I was wiped when I finished.

I've been really hungry yesterday and today. I just finished a subway club sandwich on flat breat and an EAS light protein shake...and I'm still hungry. I guess I'll drink some water and see if that helps.

Hey all !

Seems like I have been away for so long, but did see that I posted yesterday? WTH is going on with my brain these days.

Quickly, without addressing you all by name but kinda replying to yesterday:

Thanks for the well wishes ! Was so PO'd about hurting my back and then not being able to keep any nutrients in my bod after a weight workout ! UGH ! So I left work a bit early y'day since it gets hard to sit for so long, laid on an ice bag and reviewed some work. Ate some canned soup and it stayed down ! Woo Hoo ! Went to hockey and ate a turkey burger for dinner. It stayed too. So, would have worked out this AM but was mega tired. Think I will do something when I get home.

I love the little 60% or 70% squares for a quick treat and few cals. Along with a glass of wine, that is some great health for only an extra 15 min on the TM, huh? If that is all you indulge in then not bad at all. What I see is the fact that cutting back and taking the time to think about it is what matters. My eats have been too weird with my tummy issues so tomorrow will be a better start, though I haven't been really bad, just trying to find something to stick !:eek:

I enjoy HIS - watched one of the moves twice that I didn't remember - but I just keep moving and try to figure it out by the end of the segment. I can usually remember after not too long.

Wendy - nice job on the 1/2 lb ! You have been doing very well with your eats. When you are hungry, good choices is what it is about. Hard to eat too little when you are lifting heavy ya know ! I love Applebee's for some good dinner choices ! :p


Jen - UGH on the cold ! I sure know how you feel. Hope it is a short one. I'm trying to decide to just leave y'day as my rest day and do Step Blast or some cardio today so I can leave weights alone for one more rest day on the ol' back. Think that may be smart. So shoulders is next huh? My least favorite, but I love it when I can push those 15's up high in the air !:D

Laura - enjoy your rest day. Doing well with the eats - portions is key and just a smidge of cheese adds alot. So it I was going out for pizza I'd add a salad too. That helps me eat less since once I get started and have CAB's too, ya never know how much I will eat. Aha, see now that you ended up having your salad already ! Have fun tonight !

Diana - good choice to add the extra chicken. Protein always helps me. I am wondering if it is time for go back to counting cals for me just to make sure I am getting the proper amount for weight training and check out the macros. I usually do it for a week or so just to get a gauge. You have been lifting and sometimes I can feel the difference between a cardio day and a weight day.

Hey all!

So far so good on the eats today, chocolate craving and all! I subbed out one of my planned snacks this afternoon for a Pure Protein bar and that did the trick. Now I'm getting dinner ready: baked chicken, roasted butternut squash (for me). mashed potatoes (for the kids), and a veggie...don't know what yet. And I just enjoyed a half glass of red wine...for the health benefits, of course :p;):p!

Will check in again before bed~

OK - posting 'cuz I was a good little girl and got my Step Blast in tonight. Did the 3 segments since the FF rotation for Endo's calls for only 35 - 45 min of cardio per session. Will do it that way this week and see how it goes. The jumping around made me quite a sweatmonster ! :p

Jen - good idea to have a sweet protein snack ! When I have the munchies I typically grab a spoon and go straight for my jar of PB ! :eek: In fact, I need a new jar as it seems to have all but disappeared over the past couple of weeks?
