Wendy, I don't blame you for skipping MIC. There's not much fun factor there :(

Today was a gift - CM3 and SM3. I feel as if I'm getting away with something! Seems like the cardio is lite on this rotation week.

Have a good day.

Good morning Phyllis and all that follow...

I have to admit MIC isn't up there in the fun factor but is sure does deliver a powerful endorphin rush!!

I am rearranging the rotation this week due to my UB being extremely sore after PUB Sun and DM yesterday. I am doing GS Legs today. I'll have to double up one day also since I want a rest day next Tues and there are 7 days of workouts this week.

Have a good one!

Hi Phyllis and Jane.

Phyllis, *ENJOY* the break from cardio!

Jane, You are the queen of re-arranging your work outs to fit your life. I envy you. I get so frustrated when I have to change things around.

My lats are still all fired up. Thank goodness there is no back work today! I have shoulders and arms and ARX on tap for this afternoon. :) I am feeling VERY GOOD about what the X is doing for me. I am noticing an increase in my appetite but not in my weight. I feel tighter, pumped, etc. I can't wait to see the difference from day 1 to day 90!:+

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

I'm doing Cardio Fusion today instead of Saturday because Saturday is Cardio Coach's Press Play day and I'll be doing that. Check it out and please join me:

Phyllis: I really enjoy MIC...a non-stop sweat fest!

Jane: I'm glad your Dad is doing better.

Tig: I'm so glad you are enjoying the "X". Have fun with S/A....that one is pure gold!

Becky: It is so good to *see* you:7!

Hello to all that follow....Happy Humpday!

Good Morning Fitties!

Wendy, I didnt' know any of that about Joey having seizures!! Thank you for catching me up . I'm so sorry that happened and am SO glad he is doing well on the medicine and has had no problems since. How scary for you !!!! (((hugs))))

My DD is on a one hour delay this morning (snow), so I am late in starting my workout.
Today will be cardio & abs- not sure what yet but either some low impact step or TM.
I walked with my DS outside yesterday but was bundled up in so many layers, I felt like the kids on A Christmas Story! Think I'll keep the workout INSIDE today!!;-)

Have a good one !
How many days till Spring?????:7

Good morning everyone,

I am sore all over today, and all I can think of is that I am PMSing really badly, I would just love for my body to gain control again.

I was supposed to have a rest day, but I wanted to do some cardio. I did Seasun's TNS, just right for me today.

Okay, let's just call it a train wreck kind of day, ya know?

Hi all,

I did a premix off of Amy Bento's Xtreme Kickbox a 49 min. one. Wasn't too bad since I had done the combos 1&2 on Monday so they were familiar. I still need work on 3 and 4 but breaking it down in much more doable for me than all at once. I also did abs off of PSBB&A.

Have a great day!!:7

Daily Check-in

I survived Step Blast this morning. This was the first time in almost a year that I have attempted to do Step Blast in its entirety. I did not bond with this workout the first few times I tried it last year. I was ready to give up on it when I bought the Timesaver DVD and discovered that I enjoyed doing one combination at a time. It dawned on me today why this is not my favorite step workout. There is way too much repetition for my taste. I prefer workouts with less teaching time. I mastered the fast foot repeater for the first time, but I struggled through the third combination and kept ending up on the wrong side of the step. In my opinion, this choreography is far trickier than any other Cathe workout I own. I was tempted to skip the challenge. I am so glad I persevered because that turned out to be my favorite part of the whole workout. I had a blast literally. I love the finished combinations with no breakdown. I had fun and sailed through even the third combination. I am not sure why I have a hard time following the third combination while Cathe is teaching it. I did the third blast on my rebounder and got a great workout. This is definitely one of Cathe’s more intense step workouts. I like Step Blast, but it does not rock my world like Rhythmic Step and Step Works. It kicks my butt, but it does not comfort me or make me happy. I am not wild about the music either. I will likely use the challenge in the future for a short but intense workout or combine it with the step segment from Step, Jump, & Pump.

I went to the club after work and jogged in the pool. I am looking forward to enjoying Step, Jump, & Pump in the morning. It is one of my favorite workouts of all time.

My eating was great again today. Today was a cardio day fueled by plenty of carbs:

Breakfast: Uncle Sam cereal, organic strawberries and blueberries and blackberries, almond milk

Snack: organic celery, natural peanut butter, organic apple

Lunch: corn tortillas, organic pinto beans, organic brown rice (steamed), lettuce, salsa

Snack: organic yogurt smoothie, organic banana

Dinner: baby lima beans (steamed), broccoli (steamed), Parmesan cheese, pink navel orange

My meals and snacks are packed for tomorrow, and I am ready to wrap up this day.

Blessings,
Heather B.
