Daily Checkin Feb.31,2006

Hi !

Yesterday was Arms/shoulders with Tamilee Webb, Stability Ball Cardio with Patrick G and a 3 mile run. In the evening I did 30 stationary bike.

Today was u/b from SS and am going to do hill climb power walk on the treadmill.

Good morning!!

Yesterday was a really good workout with Imax 1. I did mini-step routines through all the breaks except two. Felt good!

Today is weights day. I'll do a full body workout and go heavy. No particular routine - I'll just put in some good music and wing it. I'm also going to do abs. May follow the same procedure and make sure I do Aquajock's new abs on the step. I like those.

Good Morning Girls,

I had to really convince myself to get out of bed this morning. I think I am feeling a little sorry for myself. My knee is looking better but, I can tell this is going to take at least a week(if not two) of no cardio or leg work. With that said.

I did do GS chest. I only had about 20min.

Wendy: I am living through all your cardio. Keep it coming. LOL!!

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today for me will me IM#2, KM: LCD and some ab work.

Kim: It's January 31st!!! Great workout, though...GS and MIS sounds like a god combo.

Becky: I have to go look at the February rotation.

Shannon: Sounds like a great workout...enjoy!

Wendy: Good luck...I get tired just reading your workouts.

Elaine: I hope you'll be back to doing your cardio soon. Twenty minutes of chest work is nothing to sneeze at...good job.

Carole: I liked xShoulders/Arms. I tended to follow Drea and I'm not sure I was going heavy enough w/my weights. I did 12-15 reps and only had to quickly drop down in weights once(triceps at the end). Should I be going as heavy as I think I can?

Sandra: Sending well wishes your way...you sound overloaded.

Being injured is really no fun Elaine. Time off will help your knee....and off course there are always upper body workouts!!

Tammy...Imax2 is such great tough fun!! Since I did P90X S&A in a rotation (once a week) when I got to 15 reps I would increase my weight. Just be careful going up with the shoulder excercises...it can be easy to tweak them...:)

I am doing P90X cardio before my 5-6 mile run. The some freestyle legs and hope to squeeze in some bicep and back work...

Good morning,

Yesterday morning I did SH Chest, and last night I did Step Blast. I had an awesome workout. Much the way Dutchie described her run a couple of days ago. It just felt fun, and I had a ton of energy to put into the blasts. I felt so good when I was done that I decided to tack on CoreMax #3. I wish every day could feel this good! This morning I did SH Back, and tonight will do IMAX3.

Elaine - oh, injuries are terrible. Do the best you can to rest it; think about Cathe taking all this recovery time. You're in it together.

Wendy - how did Day One of the rotation go yesterday? Will your legs get you through today's workout?

I'm definitely getting the baby's cold. When I get a cold, they usually stay on the mild side, so hopefully that will be the case this time around. Nursing women can't take cold medications, so it can make having a cold pretty miserable. Kate developed a mild fever last night, but I'm not sure if it's from the cold, or from the immunizations she had yesterday morning. Her temperature seems down this morning and she's not coughing as much, so maybe she's on the road to recovery.

Sandra...it is great when the workouts feel fun like that!! You seem to be getting back into it very well..:)...I hate to take cold meds. I always use Airborne. I hope your cold does not get bad. I also hope little Kate feels better soon...:)...Carole
 
Morning ladies. Late check in today. This morning was SJP followed by All Step abs since I did SJP abs yesterday. I am definitely going to have some DOMS in my legs tomorrow. Those low ends are a killer!

Sandra - I remember the EVERY time my daughter got sick I always ended up getting it as well. For a period of time she and I were alternating weeks to be sick. Until they build up those immunities it's such a struggle sometimes to keep them healthy. I hope you both are feeling better!!!

Okay, I'm DONE with day 2! Just finished off with CTX k/b and intervals 5-7 of low max. WOO HOO!:+

Kim-you should be takin' pics of those muscles and puttin' them up for us to gawk at!}(

Becky-how do you like Tammilee's weight work? Which vid is that from?

Elaine-I wish you could do some of the cardio FOR me! :p

Tammy-you might get tired reading what I'm doing but KM leg drills don't sound like any picnic to me when done after IMAX 2!!:eek:

Carole-yes, I certainly moved enough today! YIKES! lol

Sandra-you are doing some killer work outs! I survived day 1 fine and now day 2 as well. I'm sure as the muscles get more fatigued, the work outs will get tougher and tougher...I'm afraid!
Hope you and your little one feel better fast! I hate having a cold!x(

Hi all, I did KPC minus the 3rd combo and the abs so all in all a good almost hour long workout, not bad.

Hope you all are doing well. I got to order 2 Taebo workouts that are shorter than an hour but longer than 30 min. which is about the length I like. I don't have any taebo on DVD and I gave away my Get Ripped series awhile back. What I do have is on VHS tapes.

Anyway have a great day everybody!!:D
 
Hi Wendy!

The Tamilee workout was from FitTv and it was a show called I want those...Arms and it was 2 arm/shoulder workouts in 1/2 hour. They were pretty easy and she was using light weights, so I upped the weights and did both workouts back to back.
It was really too easy, but it fun for an easy day. HTH:)

Today was Core Synergistics. Yesterday was supposed to be Yoga X (I thought it was core syn, but when I checked the rotation schedule I saw I was off a day, but I did P90X Legs and Back instead.

Annette, it's good to "see" you. :) When I do KPC, I usually skip the last combo otherwise.

Carole, thanks for the advice about the shoes. I'm going to the running shop tomorrow. I really enjoy the small amount of running I'm able to do.

Tammy, I also enjoy shoulders and arms, and I've been wondering if I should up my weight since I can complete 15 reps with burning, but not failure. (Not the raises at the end, for both the seated and standing I can barely complete the set amount with an 8 pound weight.) I can't wait to try Chest/sh/tri and Back & Biceps next week.

Elaine, I hope your injury heals quickly.

Sandra, I hope you and your daughter feel better soon.
