Hi Everyone,

Today I did 2 qinetic workouts - focusing on the lower body. It was about an hour and I loved every minute of it.

Henrietta - I just wanted you to know that I mentioned maybe considering what your friends have been saying to you about being busy because people told me this same things for years - but I didn't listen. It took me til this year, at age 49, to finally realize that I do too much. My health eventually became affected so now - I am just trying to keep it simple. I feel much better, less stressed and wish I had stopped doing so much long ago. I like to keep busy but I needed to slow things down. I hope you understand where I was coming from.

I still haven't managed a w/o but I have been out and about since Friday, so even though my stomach is not yet 100% I will do a w/o today.

Siobhan - I think you (and many others) may be right. Maybe I am trying to do too much. I think a few things like needing a new car and selling my apartment has also added extra stress/tension... on top of my busy schedule. Maybe I should see if I can cut down... But where do I start? I have to work as much as I do as there are bills to pay. Coaching bball is fun and rewarding, besides I would need to take my son to the trainings anyways. And my own w/o's... Well they are the highlight of my day after sitting still behind my pc all day. See my dilemma?

Speaking of w/o's... I just signed up for streaming on totalfitnessdvds. I really want to find out what's there this month before I decide whether to get Cathe Live or Demand. Cathe has the coupon for 15% off this month, so now is the time to decide. The first month of totalfitnessdvds is free so I should know within a month whether to keep it or not and which Cathe option to go with. I am waiting for the code to be able to log in... Hopefully it arrives soon so I can at least log in today.

After 2-3 days of Rest/semi-rest due to pain, today I managed Amy Dixon heavy KB lower body, added Cathe's low end Lunge pulses as a finisher + standing portion of Suzanne Bowen's Seat Work plus her stretch. Her stretches are fantastic for me. I kind of trudged through but very glad I did. :)
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far. Let us know what you think of the totalfitness streaming Henriette. I have been quite curious! I truly hope your stomach can heal before long. You'll have more energy when that happens!

Hi ladies, yesterday was Hardcore Extreme workout 3: a tough one but so fun. Time went by so quickly. This morning I did Hiit 40/20 with some modifications and the warm up and first two combos of Rythmic step. I was a bit tired this morning but I am glad I did my w/o. This should be my recovery week after meso 2, but I will not take it. I just do what I can and how I feel it. It is difficult to stick to such a long program as I love variation. Next time I will do A shorter version of Sts I think.

Today I did two XFA workouts from Qinetic.com. I did a total body + abs workout. Great workouts everyone - glad you are up and about Henrietta. And Henrietta - I get it - how do you slow the train down? I am still in the throws of trying to figure this one out but I am working on it everyday. Good luck!!!!

Hi again.

I managed to do Xtrain all out low impact hiit incl. Chest burn set. Good workout... But I could definitely feel it in my body that it had been a week of no exercise. It was still fun and a good burn coming in at just under 500kcal and afterwards I felt shaky in chest and arms when getting ready to go to the movies with my son.

I have managed to log in to total fitness streaming. They have loads of Cathe up until Xtrain, which is perfect as I already hve Xtrain, RWH and ICE and I have wanted to try many of the older ones. I really want to try the Low Impact series and they are all there I think. And STS... There's 36 days there. Yippee!

Apart from Cathe there are not that many w/o's I am desperate to try. Only one stands out... Seasun Zieger's stepping up. Looks like a blast! I watched quite a lot of it today to see how doable and fun it was. Will have to try it this week.

I am trying to preview loads of new to me trainers... Who knows there may be a gem amongst them. So rather than returning to my Xtrain/Ice rotation I will be sampling totalfitnessdvd's streaming to make the most of my free month.

Had some nice DOMS today & took a rest day. Spent much of it cooking in the kitchen. :)

Oooh, cannot remember last time I did any of the Hardcore Extreme w-o's. Ouch! ;) So tough!
