Daily Check in Weekend of March 10th & 11th, 2018

Hi Everyone,

I've been squeezing in short workouts this week but barely checking in. I am sorry. My life has just become busy beyond manageable. I don't even know how I got myself in this place.

Today I did 45 minutes of Yvette's latest + 5 minute KB segment from BJ Gaddour

I hope you all have a great weekend.

I have a few clients this weekend but am, otherwise, at home.

Hi Siobhan and all to follow,

I took a much needed rest day yesterday. All my workouts, commute to work and broken nights were getting to me. I was worn out! Busy life... I had a busy life before we added a baby into the mix, but a baby also brings so much joy and love so I wouldn't want to change a thing!

I also did Yvette Bachman this morning. The Cardio with Bi's and Tri's burnout. So many burpees. I considered stopping when there were about 15min left as she had moved on to core between the Cardio, but fortunately the Cardio got easier and then I ended up rushing to make it out the house on time for Magnus's away game. It used to be so easier to bring Mick as he slept through anything, but these days he's too curious and stays awake and gets so worn out and whiney. Now he is napping in the garden despite a drizzle and we've got the BBQ on. It was 16 degrees today! Last week it was -7. Such a huge but welcome difference!

Tomorrow! Just finished Cathe blender PHA Mix workout. Got my Kelly Cardio & Sculpt DVD today, already
Previewed and wrote down everything. A lot of typing coming up, with the Build & Burns and this one. She really
Chapters well too.

I like this one too :), it's about 70 min. It's step combos, drills, and weight segments for each body part, along with
8+ min. Of abs and stretch. There are about 5 or 6 shorter premixes.

Hi everyone! Nice to see you Siobhan. I think it’s great that you still make time for yourself in your busy life. Good for you. We all need “me time” right?

Henriette I haven’t done that Yvette workout yet. I think that’s her newest. I’ve notice that she goes pretty hard for about 80-90% of the workout then finally lightens up a bit. She is tough, tough, tough.

Linda I still have KCM Your Best Body workout on my wishlist. I’ve been streaming a lot so haven’t felt a strong need for another dvd yet. We went to Sams club today for some groceries. They have some fitness wear from Tangerine. They’re actually pretty nice! Sports tops, yoga pants, jackets and tops. They hold up well.

Today I did an older Cathe Live Total body barbell and bands. It was ok. I missed my cardio.

Hi Elsie, Annette and Missy! Thank you Missy for the beautiful personalized Birthday card. It was lovely and thoughtful. Very nice.
 
Back again! After our walk this evening, I decided to finish another rotation, so..I did the Upper body premix on
KCM's Lean Body Circuits and my something else was a step & weights mix I put together. I can honestly say I am
Tired now :)

I did another Yvette workout today - her latest cardio - I just managed 45 minutes as I have to get ready for work. Great workouts everyone. And Henriette - I really liked the one you did - I think we did the same workout yesterday.

Hi to everyone. Today so far I did 2 parts of another rotation (shorter workouts). I did Cathe blender Fit Split
Compound weights workout and following was a DVD mix of Kelly-Your Healthy Back. Both good workouts :)
Later, hopefully, will be a YouTube Low Impact Hiit workout I found....forget the instructor off the top of my
Head.

Hi ladies,

Today was laundry max, a couple of walks with Mick, even when it was raining cats & dogs. When he is tired that's the best way to get him to nap. Sometimes we barely make it out of the street before he is asleep. At daycare they just put him in his pram and then outside and he goes to sleep without them even going for a walk. I wish he would do that at home too, but so far that has only worked once. Well this morning I got to test how waterproof my new UA raincoat is. It was good!

This afternoon I did 21DFX lower Fix, the same as the other day when Mick wouldn't sleep when I could not finish it. Wow! I knew what was coming so I went heavy for 30 seconds and then the plyo for 30 seconds oh my... she packs a lot in a short time. I liked it. A lot! Within 35 min my legs were exhausted. I wanted a little something light to follow so I did FS boxing warmup and combo 1, stopping when Cathe started with snow angels. They were just not going to happen anymore today!

Have a nice Sunday. It's been another mild day here. Not as warm as yesterday but still very mild esp when you think of how cold it was just last week.

Hi Henriette, it's very mild here today too, but they're calling for snow tonight! Unless they have changed it.
Got to Walmart for groceries and did 2 "something else" workouts...did the YouTube low impact hiit I mentioned
Earlier, it was Pahla Bowers, she's ok, a lot of workouts on YouTube. No music, but the workout was fun.
Then I did a 15 min. YouTube virtual treadmill walk in Bali. Beautiful scenery...no music, but had the "nature
Sounds". That's it for today...but I messed up my rotation by doing 2 of something else, so next will be Cathe,
Kelly, and back on track....Cathe, Kelly, something else. I just wanted to get in some treadmill time today....
Oh, I so miss the pool, been seriously considering re-joining for the pool, gotta give it some thought.......
 
Hi everyone. Henriette I wonder if you had a small fan near little Mick he might fall asleep? It sounds like he loves the fresh air. My daughter found a website that had soothing/calming music specifically for dogs that she turns on (on the computer) when they leave the house. One day we went out and when we got back to her place, Lester was sleeping on the couch right near the computer. It was adorable!

Linda I should check out the virtual stuff online. A walk in Bali sounds incredible right now. I’ve grown weary of winter. Another prediction for more snow!! Great workouts you’re doing too!

Today I did KCM Cardio quick fix with the bonus glutes, hips and core.

Hey Peg, I really like Kelly's Cardio Quick Fix....yep, there are ALOT of virtual treadmill, elliptical, bike workouts
On YouTube....you can "virtually" go most any place you want :). And you can walk, run, hike, bike, and even
Row or ski too! Getting some good use out of my equipment...
 
Hi gals,

No real workouts this weekend. Did walk a gun show with hubby on Saturday and got lots of steps in, but nothing today. Still recovering from the time change.

Youngest son had his 1st full shift at Wal-Mart but all of it was training on the computer. He works tomorrow 7am-4 pm, but thankfully hubby can take him on his way to work.

Linda I love anything that allows me to use my toys!! I want to use my heavy bag this week. I’m going to do a Cathe Live that uses it!

Peg - I am also in the mood for a heavy bag workout. Either Cathe Live or something longer on the bag like CoffeyFitRaw Boxing of KCM Meltdown heavy bag tabata. I don't use my bag as much as I would like to... then again I don't do most things as much as I would like to. Never enough hours in a day...

A female colleague just commented on how my calves had grown. [emoji5]Didn't realize it was that obvious...just wait till summer when I will be in t-shirts. Perhaps I should start cutting in time to show off my guns... [emoji1320]hahahaha.

Another colleague that started working out just before I went on leave is using my Body Beast program at the moment. He hates working out but sticks to it min. 5 days a week as he wants muscles. He's also changed his eating, even became vegan.
