Daily Check in Weekend of April 2 & 3, 2016

Good Saturday Morning friends,

Today I did the same Craig Ballantyne workout that I did the other day - mainly a circuit. I had to workout to no sound as i have two teenaged girls sleeping in the living room upstairs.

I added on a short 20/10 workout and my own stretch and abs.

I have a couple of clients to see today but other than that - the weekend is pretty free.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all. Hope it's a nice one where you are! We are having such warm weather here.

Nice work on your workout & while still being quiet Siobhan. ;) I find myself doing this during my after midnight workouts. It can be done right?!

Today, it's Qinectic 20 minute Sweat Series and boy! it is very much a tough one for me. Plus a short routine of floor hamstring work.
I feel like I did a good week of weight work which I haven't felt in some time. :) Tomorrow will be a rest day or I might take in a restorative yoga class if I get up early enough.

Hi all!
I've missed a couple of check-ins. Thursday I had a complete rest day and then yesterday I ended up resting as well, as I had a full day at the office, followed by bball training and then a dinner with friends. I did go to the dinner on bike so I got perhaps 45min biking at a leisurely pace in. So I guess it's something.

Today I was not in the mood to workout... Which is strange seeing I 'd been looking forward to more time in the weekend. I guess it just didn't feel right after an early game this morning, then lunch and groceries before I could w/o. I managed Chisel Endurance... Quite short 35min but the sweat was dripping off me and I was feeling it and even after the w/o still not in the mood. I will take a long walk later to pick up my son from a playdate rather than hoping in the car or on the bike.

Elsie - after midnight workouts?! Never done that... Not even when I lived alone with my son, although at that point we were in an apartment from the 1930s so the neighbors would have heard everything! The temperatures are mild for this time of year, but the sky is a dull grey color. No sun to be seen unfortunately.

Hi everybody, very mild temperatures in Milan as well but the sky is grey and cloudy. We went for a walk with the dogs to a near park where they could run and play with no danger of cars around. Back home I meant to do Flex Train but then decided to go for X10 as I had not done much cardio this week. I did all the circuits with some modifications, for example I went light with the weights and lowered the step height, but I completed it to the end. It was my second time doing it and it was easier than the first one. Yesterday was a much needed rest for me.
Well done ladies with your workouts, even when they are short they are something and worth it. With our busy lives it is perfectly normal to not be in the mood to work out or tired or pressed by other things. So I think we should be proud of ourselves if we manage to put a w/o into our day, be it with sound or not, right???

Hi ladies,

I managed a Saturday workout, whoo hoo!! I went to the gym and did the FIT test on the Elliptical which was 12 minutes and it said my FIT level was Superior, then did 2 minutes more on it going backwards or in reverse. Then got off and did 17 min. on the stationary bike and finally 17 min. on the stair machine, so I got my cardio in so I am happy. BTW the gym was pretty dead on a Saturday.

I went shopping and bought some new tops and recently I found a pair of skinny jeans ( at my hubby's request) so I found a shirt that look great with them and add in the 3+ inches heels I just bought and I let dh see it all, well lets just leave it at that... let your imagination have fun, I know tonight I will be...

Have a great day!!

Hi Everyone,

Today I did a mish mosh. I did ICE Chiseled Lower Body - such a great workout. I needed some Cathe today. She adds so much fun. I added on 2 4 minute tabata workouts by craig ballantyne. I also did a short yoga stretch and my own chest/back superset workout.

It's freeeeeeeeeeeeeezing here. Woke up to snow and -16 c temps. yikes.

Great job on the weight loss Annette. Enjoy your new clothes.

Have a great day everyone.

Hi CeciFifi, seems you worked your all of your body today??? Yeahhh! Well done! Sorry you have such low temperatures, got to be patient, it is just the end of winter! Today I did step blast, I am still struggling with the third combo, it's difficult for me. Then the step challenge is so quick, it was hard to catch up with the crew. Ready for another week and lot of time to spend on travel means of transportation. I asked the company I work for to allow me to do two working days at home instead of just one. We will see what the answer is, that would help a little. Have a good day my friends.

Hi everyone. Today things again got in the way of my w/o. First a morning swim with a friend and her young son, and after that it was close to 20 degrees outside... So warmest day by far this year and I couldn't help but spend my afternoon lying lazy in the garden reading loads. I think I just needed that and tonight I just did the bicep 100 rep challenge and will have an early night before the whole crazy week starts again.

Siobhan - where do you live? -16 sounded unbelievable when we were all outdoors in t-shirts.

I hope everyone has a good start to the week tomorrow.

Wow, excellent job on the workouts & swimming ladies. Swimming is such a good strengthen and stabilize activity. I am not a strong swimmer at all!
Sandy, I really hope you can get another working from home day to reduce your commuting. I really don't like it either. When it takes me more than 100 minutes on the bus standing nearly the whole time, I am not in a nice mood when I get home. I just want to drop on the couch and eat snacks.

Today was a scheduled rest for me. Had a beautiful Greek supper tonight. I am so full!
