Rest day for me and it is well needed :eek: my body felt every single minute of 4ds BC/Bis/Tris yesterday :eek:

Good morning Tammy and all that follow....

Oh Tammy, I felt every minute of KB/Legs/core last night. I didn't think it was possible to have more DOMS in my UB but KB layered it on! I suspect my legs will soon follow as the day goes on!

Today is yoga/pilates/stretch. I'll decide what to do this afternoon.

ETA - Heather - glad you a liking the 4DS. The right balance of cardio is tricky for me. Usually the cardio of one of Cathe's normal rotations is just right for me. I was thinking more along the lines of the January 06 rotation. Oy, I saw my life flash before my eyes on that rotation!

KB is waiting for me today. I will do this as produced instead of the cardio first. Like Heather, I like the last round of leg work with the band.

Jane, that stretching will feel good!

Did anyone else besides Heather order their calendar? I'm trying to decide wether to order it myself of put in on my wish list for the family to see. Um, I think I may just do it myself. I don't want to risk them not getting it!

Hi everyone,

I am glad you are all enjoying the 4DS, it just doesn't do much for me. The cardio is the best part of the series for me, and I will be using that as add ons based on how short they are. Today was Patricks Dance Moves and Cathe's Stability Ball abs from B & G.

Good Morning !

I did 50 minutes of YogaX ......I would love to add on some stretching but ran out of time.

Today we bring my MIL home (to her house) from the nursing home.
She hasn't lived at home since JUNE, so this is a big day for her !!!
We have home healthcare lined up along with Lifeline and have spent the last week making adjustments to her home to make living there safer and easier for her. Today I am cooking dinner and DH and I will stay and eat with her and help her get settled.

Lot's to do, gotta run.

Today's cardio was an hour long brisk walk with my doggy which made me feel great. I dropped off my SO at school and then walked around in the neighborhood. She is apparently not too fond of school buses (of which I am glad...I'd rather have her run and hide than try to chase them!)but seemed to enjoy all the new mailbox/fire hydrant scents.

Tonight will be back and chest, likely from 4DS.

I've been working my body parts heavy twice a week as suggested by my trainer (I'm on a quest to actually have a few noticeable muscles. Please stop laughing now!) and I find that I just don't have the energy for strong hour long cardio sessions (i.e. IMAX 2) mainly because of DOMS. I was hoping to squeeze two in a week but I tend to do about three 30-45 minute sessions weekly for this rotation instead. I'm also incredibly hungry all the time. Is all of this normal?
 
Good Afternoon Ladies.

Yesterday was an unplanned rest day. x(

Today I did all of the body weight and band work from GS BS&B and C&T plus 3 sets of pull/chin ups and a couple sets of bicep curls with tubing. It took less then 45 minutes from w/u to stretch and man did I feel it! I used the purple band instead of the green one I'd normally use for upper body so I'm sure that has something to do with it!}(

Beavs: What you are describing seems quite normal. When I lift heavy I am very hungy and it takes alot out of me and creates incredibley intense DOMS at times. It can bring awesome results though so don't quit on it! Your muscles will be poppin' in no time!!!!}(

Evening all...


Today was stretch day and boy did it feel good. I feel my legs tightening up from KB/Legs/Core yesterday and I'm still incredibly sore from HIS/Chest/Back on Monday.

I used SM #1 and the stretch from B&G because I knew this would focus on lower body. Those two stretches fit perfectly together for a 30 minute stretch session.
