Today KickMax is on the rotation. It's not my favorite, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

Tammy- I "hear ya" about dreading a workout. But once you get 20" into it aren't cha glad ya did? Well maybe not with KM...

Any hoot, I managed a fairly challenging bike interval workout for 30" yesterday followed by Core Max.

Here is my plan for the week- The "no foot aggrevating plan"

Monday- July 4th rest day
Tuesday- 30" bike interval (semi recumbent bike) & Core Max 'Tough PM'
Wednesday- PUB/PLB bonus combo, tennis
Thurs- 30" bike interval, core max, stretch max
Fri-PUB/PLB bonus combo, tennis
Sat- 30' bike interval, Muslce Max abs, stretch max
Sunday- rest

The tennis part is not ideal, but I am committed to a league and so I must play.

Tammy - I love KM for some reason. Those intervals at the end really get you though!!

Judy - I'm sorry you are having so much trouble with PF. I hope you can get your tennis in without too much trouble.

Last night, late (finished at 9 p.m.) was Bootcamp for the first time. It is a fun w/o but I was so tired by that point having woke up at 4 yesterday morning, I didn't enjoy it as much as I know I will when I am not so tired.

Those terminator climbers gave me trouble. 1) I have to go down on the floor and grab dumbbells because it is too painful to bend by wrists, 2) I can't do them fast enough, 3) I exercise on carpet and that presents a problem, rubber soles and carpet don't go together on a move like that. I'll have to practice that one.

After Bootcamp and before bed, I did 115 walking lunges upping my number by another five.

Today I believe I'll tackle Rhythmic Step for the first time.

I really hear you Tammy, I'm off to conquer the Step segments of LowMax followed by L&G's. I feel for you. I don't have KM and I don't think I want it.:7

Tammy KM isn't one of my faves either, I keep hoping it will grow on me. Good Luck.

Judy, I haven't done the bonus combo, I should check that out.

Jane, we are definite opposites so far as timing goes. If I don't workout in the morning I don't workout. My hat is off to you for getting so much in late in the day. Enjoy RS, I love that workout.

Kali, enjoy LowMax, it's a masterpiece. I may do some of it today to.

I'm still deciding what to do,.....I'm thinking I'll do some LowMax and the CTX PowerCircuit segment ...I'll check in later:)

Hi Fitness Friends! :)

I am really pumped (exercise AND excitement wise!!!) because today I tried parts of KPC from my timesaver dvd.......and I am SHOCKED to say, I loved it !:eek:
I used to do TaeBo with Billy Blanks and it was okay but I never got that much into it. Then tried Kickmax and sold it because I didnt' like it. I also have SJP and like the step part but wasn't crazy about hi/lo or kickboxing.It just didn't seem to be as much fun as step and I didn't get the workout I wanted out of it. This morning I put together my own mix and I did The warm up and cardio kickbox from kpc (ts#4), and then the hi/lo #1&2 from sjp .........and I really had fun! It was HARD and I am sweating like crazy and was really breathing hard! I couldn't believe what a workout it was!
I drank one bottle of water already and am heading for another!!

Only bad thing is, now I want the KPC dvd!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I'll add it to the list & start saving more money!!!! :p

Tammy - I am with you 100 pct. That is the ONLY Cathe workout that sits on my shelf until I find some way to use a portion of it here and there. Just doesn't ring my chimes, ya know?

Today was PUB and Ab hits, my arms are fried and I can't even go as heavy as Cathe on those biceps!

Good Morning Fitness Divas!
Today was S&H Chest, Imax 2, C&W abs & stretch. This evening will be a 45 min steady run.

There is a tropical storm, and we have tornados all around me. The weather is crazy here. There is a hurricane heading toward us. They are saying it might hit us by Sunday! It is pouring right now! This is great. I was planning on doing something today. We stayed home yesterday, so I could clean up after our cookout. I am getting cabin fever!!

Rest day for me. Did hi/low HC Extreme intervals yesterday plus a portion of both PUB/PLB (including abs). I loved it all. Can I just say my butt, hams and chest are sooo sore. Those low max blasts are something else. The kicmax blast challenge nearly killed me. Why in the world that is tacked on at the end of a 70 minute workout is beyond me ;)

Good Morning Fit Women,

Yesterday was Chest and Back and severe errand max! LOL!
On the 4th we went to see the fireworks and I headed over to the monkey bars and did 3 pull ups! Oh my gosh! I am thrilled over it! Then headed to the swings and jumped off the swing with my son...I am such a big kid!

Today will be KPC and Lawn Max

Morning everyone

Last night I did Step Blast on an 8" step and it kicked my butt. I forgot how hard that last blast is, with the plyo jacks, air jacks and tuck jumps. Yikes! Then I did segment 1 of Coremax.

Tonight I have ME on the schedule. I love that one and always look forward to it - even that evil laugh Cathe does during biceps.}(

Charlotte - I tried doing pull-ups on the monkey bars the other night too, but couldn't even manage one. Oh well. Back to the drawing board! I don't swing though. It makes me queasy.

I discovered something strange the other day while running. I always look at the road a few feet ahead of me when I run, so I tried looking at the horizon instead, and discovered it makes me motion sick. Weird, huh?
 
good morning, everyone!!!!

Today was a kick-my-butt-after-that-huge-weekend-barbq day! I started off with a two mile run and then did HSChallenge sans abs (Core Max is manana) and I ate so much this weekend, I feel like I have enough energy stored up to do another 4 miles and BC twice! I love food!

Tammy, I don't seem to reach much for Kickmax myself. I know the leg conditioning drills would be good for the Freestyle way of working out...those blasts are the killers though.

Judy...hope the PF gets better, the week rotation looks like a good idea.

Jane...Not sure I could workout that late! Good job, but I know how it feels to workout when you are a bit tired. RS is a very fun workout!

Looks like a good lower body workout Kali.

Laurie...I hear you about working out in the morning...its the best time for me. On my days off I can do a workout in the afternoon, but rarely after about 6 o'clock!

Carla....hope that storm dies down before it reaches you.

Becky...if you liked the parts of KPC that you tried, you will love the whole workout. And the DVD with L&G...one of my favorites!

Conni...I have never matched Cathe on the biceps in PUB. She is one strong lady!

Debbie...I agree...the blasts tacked on the end of that Hardcore Ex workout about killed me too.

Charlotte..3 pull-ups?...That is awesome...:)

Shelley...most of the time when I run I look down. Running on trails and checking out the horizon can increase the chance of tripping alot!

For me its KPC today, then Freestyle leg exercises, shoulders, bi's and tri's. My hams are a bit sore after GS legs yesterday...YEOW!!!

Good Morning Strong Ladies,

As usual, I see some awesome workouts going on, I did P90X legs, back and the ab ripper. The leg workout is not that hard, but all those reps made me sweat. I also love KPC, I am do it tomorrow instead of KenpoX.

i'm not sure what i will do today yet, other that major errands, but you ladies got it goin on around here!

i think i will do the challenge from SB and PLB. that sounds good!

Tammy-Another one here who isnt crazy for kickmax. I like the leg par at the end though. Other then that I just don't feel like I get a hard workout like I do with the step or running.

Charlotte-Good for you on the pull ups. Now I want to go to the park and see if I can do even one!

Carla-I hope the storm moves out of your line of fire

Judy -I envy you making a rotation and sticking to it. I make one then mix it all up :)

Conni-pub/plb are two of my favs!

Jane-I often find myself doing a workout late in the evening as I split up my workouts. Cardio in th am and weights in afternoon or evening.

Becky-Legs and glutes is a wonderul workout and you can do premix's from it and kpc that are terrific. KPC by itself I am not fond of. I believe kickboxing isn't my thing :) But I love it as a premixed workout

Laurie-Good luck with your workouts and eating.

Shelley-I wish there was a wooded area near me to run. I hear you talk about those runs in the woods and it sounds so peaceful.

Carole- I still need to get busy and try free style. Are you seeing results?

Today for me will be bodymax and plb or legs and glutes. So hard to decide!

Hey All: I had a great workout LowMax 1-4 then CTX PowerCircuit Segment then the rest of LowMax my legs feel great and I feel like I got enough cardio. Thanks for the encouragement about eating Terri, today's the day I start dipping back into my wells of discipline!!!!!!

Morning Everyone,

Haven't posted in about three days. The weekend was really busy, and yesterday I had a wisdom tooth pulled out. Today will be PLB and walking lunges. I may add on some running also. Depends on how I feel.

Terri,

I'm not a kickboxing fan either. I've tried and tried and never enjoy a full kickbox workout like I do step. So maybe thats why I enjoyed what I did today......it was just mixing up parts and pieces from different workouts. I bet if I keep mixing it up and add step and even weights sometimes I won't get bored.
I'm just now starting to use the premix, chapter, and mix n match features. Up until now I've just done the full workouts of every dvd, but so many of the creative women here are doing so many cool workouts, I just had to try it myself and I am loving it !! I cant imagine ever getting bored doing it this way!
I think I am interested in getting the KPC dvd , even more now......with the positive comments about legs & glutes and the premixes.
