Good Morning Everyone,

Today was Step Blast. It wiped me out but I "feel so accomplished".

The DH went out with friends and after a few beers- he slept well. But, he was snoring SO LOUD that I didn't sleep much. Well, let's just say I kept the TV a little louder while I worked out this morning and shut the doors a bit harder.x( That's only fair, right?

Only 12 days left in January so hopefully our Hardcore workouts will be coming soon!!!!:+ :+ :+

Good morning Wendy....oh my, maybe we do have the same DH! I have slept with earplugs the last few years because of his snoring and it is worse if he drinks beer....kicking helps a bit too...:+ :7 }( I also remember you saying he cooked a bit too? My DH is a very good cook although very messy cook...

Good job on StepBlast! You really do feel good after that one.

Today I am doing some abs and an 11 mile run. My body feels pretty good after the massage yesterday....enjoy the day ladies...:)...Carole

Today will be KPC and I can't wait! I am really in the mood for a kickbox workout}( :7 !!

Wendy, LOL, yeah it is only fair....I thought that was hilarious but your DH may not think so}( I love SB it's so much fun and such a "blast"!!!

Anyone have any suggestions for what I can sub for Supersets tomorrow??

Wendybdh your DH and mine must have gone out together. I didn't hear him snore, but I know he does snore really well. He always wakes me up by having to go to the bathroom!x(

Anyhoo I will be doing Leaner Legs, but unlike Wendymin72, I will not be adding UB split. You go girl!

I'm thinking of getting the BB Series. I should take advantage of the free shipping before they stop the pre-sale. I better start heating up the CC.:)

Hi good morning. Wendy and Carole a nap will be great. 12 days left. I don't wait news today because Cathe is in the Super Show. The count down is going to start soon. Sandy you can substitute SS with ME.Wendy LL and the upper body split of ctx . You are going to sweat. My biceps were shaking during the ME biceps curls. Laurie Mac you will save a little money if you order the BB now.Maybe you can use that money in more Cathe workouts. Today is cardio of choice in my rotation. I wll do RS. Good morning,

This morning I did Step Heat and CTX Shoulders. No modifications necessary, because SH is pretty basic. However, it wore me out!! I think I'll have to stop all that CK/LL Circuit nonsense, because I was really wiped out this morning. SH was about the absolute most I could have done today. My butt, hips, and upper thighs, all the way around, were stiff this morning.

I took a nap yesterday afternoon. I set my watch alarm for 25 minutes, which is a good thing because I could easily have slept the afternoon away. However, come bedtime, I couldn't fall asleep until after 10:30pm. So, that might explain why I'm feeling extra tired today. Ugh. You're damned if you do; you're damned if you don't. I want another nap today, but don't need to be up until 11pm tonight!

Wendybdh - wow, you're really knocking back the cardio these days! Fun stuff, too! Did you finish your CTX one-body-part-a-day plan? I understand about the showing off bit :) I'm in the reverse situation, right now. Whenever DH walks through the room, I deliberately tone it down a bit more, so he can see that I'm not overdoing it :D DH is also a snorer, particularly if he's been drinking beer before bedtime. Drives me insane. A swift kick and a growl to "Roll OVER!!" sometimes helps. Sometimes I just go sleep on the couch.

Sandy - good to see you! I thought the list was rather quiet y-day, then realized that you weren't chatting with us all day. Don't do that again!!! Quit your job, if necessary. ME - fun! It's part of my Saturday plan. When are you going to crack open CTX?? Suggestion for SuperSets: CW Upper Body Heavy Weights Premix, with LG Standing Legs only.

Jes - let us know what the doc says about the headaches. That is not fun.

Wendymin - I guess doing the CTX weight work last week really agreed with you! Enjoy doing it again!

Morning all. Well I planned on getting up and working out this morning, but I got a migraine last night that I still have now. I woke up this morning and could barely move my head, so there was definitely not going to be any jumping around. I swear I just feel cursed lately when it comes to working out. The part that really stinks is that I WANT to workout. I read all your posts of the workouts you did that day and it makes me want to workout even more. Ugh!!!

Jes, I hope your own headache is gone before you attempt KPC. Careful how you swing those punches. I don't want you to give yourself a concussion.

Katie & Jes, I sure hope you feel better soon. I have one too. This is the 4th day & I'm starting to have suicidal thoughts. ;-)

No workout this morning, but I may be able to do something tonight...it's worse in the morning for me.

It was a toughie but I felt awesome afterwards for completing it! I may have to leave out an exercise or 2 on each body part in the upper body split though until I am a tad bit more used to the intensity of the work out.

In Feb I plan on doing a CTX only rotation so my upper body won't get tortured like that all in one session!:)...If I have extra energy days I may add in some more cardio, but the weight work will be much more evenly distributed through out the week.

Today for me was supposed to have been BC (cardio only x 2) + SB (blasts only), but I went to bed VERY late last night and all I could muster up (using machines) was 3 sets of 12 reps of leg ext., hamstring curls & leg press, then 25 mins. on the StairMaster...........I'm so sleepy I feel like a zombie:-(..

Oh dear, is there something about the rotation of the earth that is creating all these migraines? Do you all live near each other - perhaps within a 100 miles of a nuclear power plant?

Wendymin - I replied to your post in the preg forums regarding doulas. It's kind of buried in the thread, so I thought I'd bring it to your attention here. Yes, CTX does indeed toast the upper body!! I'm enjoying doing it one body-part-a-day, which I haven't done since I first got it. My form is better for each section because my other muscles aren't exhausted from already having been recruited in early segments. How nice to have such a versatile workout!

Hi everyone,

Wow!! I do hope all of those headaches go away!!!

Today I'm doing CTX upper body and abs.

Don't know what was up with me yesterday, but I barely got through my workout (MIC step and Allstep). I think my legs were just toast from having done Leaner Legs the day before. I got through the first tape o.k., then it was modify, modify, modify!!

Hey gals!

Oh, keep your evil headaches away, I get a nasty sinus one about once every 3 months, and it's been awhile. Seriously, I hope you're all in fighting form soon!

Today I did CTX upper body--seems to be popular. She does 4 exercises per muscle group. In the time mostly, and pain, secondly, I skipped the 4th one of each group. Sandra, you're right about being too fatigued to go on to the next group. My shoulders were SO FRIED that I could only do about half of the triceps bench press she did. I couldn't hold the &^*& barbell!

I did find your reply about the doulas,thank you, I had read it. I thought I responded to it but I guess I didn't! OOPS, sorry! They say one can get a little "bubble brained" during pregnancy so maybe that explains it! lol I will be mentioning it to my DH and see what he has to say about the idea.

Upper Body Split in CTX is definatley harsh, Doing one body part a day next month is gonna feel like a vacation! lol But I'll bet in the end the results are better because you aren't completely fried from the work out so you can give it your all each and every time.

Evening Ladies,

Nice to see all these new people here:)

Being single means no snoring DH, that must be a good thing, however, my cats can make twice the noise when they find my bed. They love to ly down near my ears and purrrrrr. Loudly.

Did Boot Camp this morning (was supposed to do it yesterday) and a 6.3K run just before dinner. Ran my fastest time yet, 39:41min. Still a slow runner, but better than the 46:01min I ran for my very first 6K seven months ago. It is so motivating! Son no.1 preferred to run 6x1K circles, so we were both on our own today. You know, last Summer I loved to run those short circles, now I can't stand them. Guess in a few months he'll stop doing it too, I hope:)

Annette, thanks for your kind words yesterday, made me feel all warm inside.

Wendy, yes I'm still trying to study. Unfortunately, due to personal problems I missed an exam just before Xmas. Oh well, I plan to be at least 90, so I still have 47 years left to get my degree:)

Sandra and Sandy, thanks for welcoming me back.

Carole, a massage, I love the idea. Have to look into that.
